I made a new fort and I'm running the current dfhack on Steam, but suddenly none of my dwarfs' clothes decay and I have no idea what I could have enabled... It always worked with tailor and autoclothing in my old fort. Can't find the answer online. Any ideas?
No wear on clothing is boring lol.

It's clearly some sort of pathing issue. Have you tried reseting civilian alerts?

Does anyone have an idea of what is happening here? Playing what I would consider lightly modded DF, playing with a dark elf colony. There was an incident with some fire, luckily we were able to contain it to just this small area with some fire breaks (dirt roads). But now we're having an issue.
People keep running to the area, seemingly to haul some items, and getting... stuck? DFHack says they're "stranded", but there's nothing stopping them from getting around. They just run up to the edge of the ashes and stop, and then stay there. Every once in a while one will break free of this insanity and return to regular life, but often another will take their place shortly after.
I've tried forbidding the items for a while but this didn't seem to fix anything. So idk what's going on or what to do about it.

Beginning to wonder if there is a bloody bug in either Dwarf Fortress, DFHack, or the other mods I play with because I have been trying like hell to get a group of kobolds to learn the secrets of of necromancy by raiding necromancer towers.
My last world I generated, my kobolds raided SIX necromancer towers in range and got hundreds of books and scrolls, but none had secrets of life and death.
This world that I generated, I have raided my first necromancer tower, looting 35 books and scrolls, none of which contain the secrets of life and death. Even ones that had titles that sounded super promising when viewing them in the region map.
There's several more towers with lists of books to raid in range, but with how long raids take to even finish, I am really gritting my teeth over the chance that I will once again get six DAYS of play into a fort with constant raiding, run out of towers on the continent, and still have no secrets.
I found an old script someone wrote for creating a secrets book, but when I tried adding it in to DFhack it did not function, and now I can't even track down that forum post again, I just find one for creating a slab. Necromancers are stupid and so chaotic with their abilities as to be near useless, but I like them dangit, I want necromancer kobolds who got that way via reading stolen books.
Edit: I am also VERY SPECIFICALLY having problems with no one wanting to fulfill task or work orders for traction benches which is extremely bad since the king/overseer of my civilization is in my fortress and keeps demanding them. I've fiddled with work orders and workers and labor tasks and everything, and kobolds keep bringing the table and gear to the mechanics workshop and then leaving the job unfinished until someone else takes the table and gear back to stockpile. So I've always got some in the dungeon for ignoring work orders. Very annoying.
Edit on top of edit: I was not paying attention to the fact my workorders meant to keep me in chain or rope had fucked up. WHOOPS. So now my only problem is the lack of freaking secrets of life and death.

To be clear it has been reported before but previous ones have been thrown out due to potential interference from DFHack. However, I have done so before in save without DFHAck, using a duplicated world save. I just have since deleted said saves because it didn't occur to me that the bug had been discarded given how well known it is.
1k reblogs and I actually report the "domesticated angels" bug in Dwarf Fortress properly

If you can try DFHack, there is a version for steam too. It provides a console that helps a lot with some of the bugs like the stuck merchants and a lot of QoL things like search bars in a lot of menus
After being clean for over 6 months I'm back on the Dorf Fort wagon.
First trader that arrived in autumn couldn't leave the map for some reason so apart from a very early wave that took me up to 20 dorfs I've had no trader's or migrants in nearly 3 years. I thought my civilisation was maybe dead because the expedition leader/manager declared himself king after 'a friendly discussion with the locals'. Suddenly he's demanding ridiculously opulent rooms and that we mass produce crutches.
Finally in late summer year 3 I get a wagon. I totally cleaned out everything they had and their poor yaks couldn't carry all the crafts we had made. The trader was ecstatic with the profit, as well he should be.
Hoping for a huge migrant wave when they get back home and tell others of our industry.
