one thing that will always annoy me about shonen anime is when a particularly cruel villain essentially gets let off the hook for absolutely horrific shit solely bc he’s a “worthy opponent” or whatever. like fuck dude, Sensui KILLED YOU, Yusuke, why are you asking for him to be revived???? like i get it’s bc you wanted to beat him with your own power, but isn’t it kinda more important that the dude trying to destroy humanity doesn’t get back up? HE FORCED KURAMA TO MURDER AN 11 YEAR OLD BOY FFS

god i love the Sensui vs Raizen Royal Unmitigated Ass Whooping so hard(bc let’s be real, it’s not even a fight, it’s just a curb-stomp). It looks like so many of Yusuke’s early fights, which is such a good parallel BECAUSE that’s all likely bc of Raizen’s direct influence in Yusuke’s blood in the first place. it’s a great way to show relation without outright stating it
