Where when Umbramon dedigivolves, Munchy reappears in unexpected ways in his previous forms

The Digimon, in their champion forms, had decided to spar with one another while their partners rested in the van. Wizardmon sat on top of it, reading a book as the others went at each other. Duskmon was taking a break below him, leaving Agunimon to spar with Sunflowmon.

Wizardmon looked up from his book, having been bothered by something for a while now. "...Why are you looking at me?"

Duskmon's main eyes turned to look at him, eyebrow raised. "I'm not looking at you."

"You are now," Gargomon pointed out, promptly getting smacked by Sistermon Noir. The mon was giggling, having used the distraction to their advantage. He yelped, rubbing his head and glaring.

"EY!"

"Keep your eyes on me, Mr. Hot-Shot!"

"Some of your eyes have been focusing on me for the past few minutes," Wizardmon pointed out, ignoring the two bickering. Duskmon frowned, only now noticing that yes, some of his eyes were looking in other directions. He tried to move them...

...but found that he couldn't.

"...Hm."

Wizardmon raised an eyebrow. "Something wrong?"

"Nothing," Duskmon dismissed, crossing his arms. "And I wasn't staring at you. You were just seeing things."

The wizard grunted, frowning underneath his collar. He returned his attention to his book, though he couldn't help but feel like something was still staring at him. He tried to ignore it.

It was probably nothing.

Duskmon walked away from the van, approaching Agunimon again. Unaware that his eyes had moved once more, fixating on Wizardmon as the magic mon continued his studies.

Impmon kicked rocks as he walked, whistling to himself while the others walked in front of him. Flamemon glanced back at him and slowed down, falling into step next to him.

"Yo," the mon greeted, tail swinging behind him. "Something on your mind?"

Impmon glanced over at him, his own tail beginning to swing. "Wha? Oh- Nah! I'm just bored."

"What, we too boring for you?"

The words were said playfully and Impmon snickered, nodding jokingly. "You said it, not me."

Flamemon reached over and punched him in the shoulder, which Impmon returned swiftly. The two quickly got into a punching match, snickering as they traded blows.

Salamon looked over at them, unamused. "Will the two of you stop acting like In-Trainings?"

"Yes, you are both acting stupid," Floramon drawled, glancing at them over her shoulder. She paused, her eyes narrowing as Impmon and Flamemon rolled their eyes at her. "...Did you change your buckle?"

The two glanced down, then looked back up at her. "...Who?"

Floramon rolled her eyes. "The pathetic-looking mon."

"She's talking about you," Impmon muttered to Flamemon, earning him an unamused look.

"No, I am talking about you. Stupid."

"'EY!"

Flamemon ignored the two's yelling match, angling his head to look at Impmon's buckle. His eyebrows furrowed before his eyes widened. "Impmon, since when did your belt look like Munchy?"

"I'm sorry what now?" Impmon looked down. The yellow smiley face had indeed changed, becoming something more akin to his Ultimate form's sentient ball chain.

To his, and everyone's, collective surprise, the eyes suddenly shifted, looking back up at him and returning his grin.

"WHAT THE FU-!?"

Back at it again: AguniDusk ship dynamics (full lines) + ship dynamics for Rie (Riot/ER)

Alrighty! *Cracks knuckles*

I'm probably only going to do up till Ultimate, mostly because Impmon's Mega hasn't been released. When it has though, I will come back and update this. Or make it its own separate post.

First up is AguniDusk. Put under the cut because of slight spoilers.

ROOKIE LEVEL:

Flamemon - Impmon? The guy's a braggart and a dumbass sometimes, but he's fun to hang out with. The two are always butting heads with one another, though there's never any real hostility between the two - Just some friendly competition.

Impmon - Flamemon? That guy thinks he's so great! Well, he kinda is, but there ain't no way Impmon's gonna tell him that. He definitely enjoys the other mon's company, even if they are always trying to one-up each other.

CHAMPION LEVEL:

Agunimon - Well, now the guy actually has some bite to his bark. He's very interested in seeing who's the stronger of the two and enjoys when the two of them spar. There's a lot of obvious tension between them, something he's a little more aware of compared to Duskmon. He uses that awareness to tease the other mon, dropping hints every now and then.

Duskmon - He's always been bragging that he's strong. Now that they're both the same level, he can actually prove it! Wait, why is he making those remarks - It flusters the other mon, who has yet to realize the tension between them. He thinks that Agunimon is just joking with him and tries to tease him back (which is surprisingly effective)

ULTIMATE LEVEL:

Aldamon - His emotions are a mess. He's too furious to really focus on anything other than his failures. In the back of his mind though, he does find himself missing the others, most specifically his rival. The feelings that come with those thoughts make the gaping hole in his chest even bigger.

Umbramon - Though he acts cocky and confident all the time, he does still think about Aldamon. He won't admit it, but he definitely misses him and the bond the two shared. He's hoping to cross paths with him again sometime soon, whether that's to spar or just talk with each other.
