me when i remember ink probably had no idea what happened between timeline 9 to finding cross alone and with charas soul. they dont know where xgaster might be, and only know that hes alive because his soul half is still with them. they got out that it was a genocide that wiped out xtale but to what extent? cross never said that he explicitly killed them but neither does ink know if chara wiped them out either. sigh. no wonder he has find cross. mostly to continue the game but to also find out what happened to xgaster.

thinking about this stupid ass panel again, and i think i might finally get what its saying but i might also be off my shit again.

while i had cried my eyes out about this when it came out, i suddenly realize that the meaning of xgasters words over ink, isnt him talking about ink, but rather, an internal response to galette's question.

xgaster doesnt have many friends. i dont think hes ever viewed toriel or asgore as true 'friends', and certainly doesnt care for galette's friendship either.

but ink has a lot of friends. ink has blue, dream, fresh(?), and more that are probably not even listed, (though im not including cross in this because ink says that their friendship with cross was genuine)

so... having a lot of friends is convient. i wonder where this could have been applied to...

and also, when is the only time that ink admits to having a friend, anyway?
