By 👉🏻 @dr.robertmarus 💫 This is a space maintainer that will NOT fall out or become loose! Bond a passively fitting fiber post into position using G-Premio BOND with G-ænial Universal Injectable Composite. Prior to acid etching, micro-etch the involved interproximals of the abutment teeth with 50u Aluminum Oxide particles to clean the enamel so as to ensure full bond strength. The adhesive and injectable composite are placed onto the fiber post as well as the interproximal surfaces. I have been performing this procedure for 20 years without failure! After placement, advise the child to tell their parent when the new tooth is erupting. Have them call your office for an appointment for an evaluation immediately. At that point in time, the space maintainer can be easily removed by cutting the post in halve with a high speed diamond bur and then using a coarse composite polishing disc to remove any residual composite and post material thus leaving the enamel of the supporting teeth unharmed.
