The Erlking quickly turns around. There has to be a light source somewhere. A light source that will allow him to look the thing in the eyes. Either that or he embraces the inevitable.

"What is going on with you?" @lcbyuri asks, standing at the top of the stairway and looking at him with furrowed brows. Her hands pull on the coat she wears, evidently his by the way it engulfs her, and she leans on the railing.

The vermin gazes upon her with distant eyes. He staggers back, raising his pincers in defence.

"I... I do not know..." He utters, keeping a piece of his stable mind.

The day of the first therapy session had finally came around and Cathy had spent most of the day up until that point doing some cleaning and generally making sure that her room looked good for when Erlking showed up. She was just at the moment doing the finishing touches, moving the comfortable looking chairs into the center of the room and sitting down on the once closest to the fake fireplace which glowed with an artificial light. Speaking of her room, it was a mix of grand and cozy, kinda mimicking her old room at the manor, a large bed with a blanket like cover sat near a large and closed fake window, which was mostly covered up by a rather large and comfortable looking blanket fort. The room was also aptly decorated as well, mostly consisting of what one would expect to be in such a room alongside decorations chosen by Cathy herself, mostly plushies of various kinds, a rather fancy kettle and tea set, and what stood out the most, a small portable game console on the table next to her bed. She waited patiently as she sat, kinda hoping that the room wouldn't set anything off (it probably would and that greatly worried Cathy) as she hadn't really been able to get another room set up for this. Not to mention she wasn't going to go to her manager and ask if she could use the backdoor, it'd be a no and she knew it. Especially if she told the manager that she was planning on playing Therapist to a mental unstable Heathcliff from another mirror world.

Eventually, he had arrived from his world, admiring the new look towards the room. He seemed to have tied his hair back a little just for this occasion.

"It seems that you have redecorated this room, Catherine." The man commented. "It's very lovely."

The Heathcliff of the other world paused for a moment, before continuing.

"You wanted me to feel more comfortable here, didn't you? That is... very kind of you."

"Heaaaaathcliiiiiiiff!" a voice calls down the hall, footsteps quickly yet quietly approaching.

It certainly sounds like Yuri, but the tone is just slightly different -- more confident, more loud, the tiniest bit more demanding.

...It's her, isn't it?

He peeks over to meet Yuri down the hall, only to notice that she is... different. Unbeknownst to him, he couldn't speak. Although, 3 choices came into his mind.

1. "Hello, my love. You seem brighter than ever today."

2. "You seem... different."

3. "Did a messenger curse you into that identity again...?"

After a small pause, he decided to act oblivious as the first choice escaped his mouth.

It seems that the dice landed on 6.

@lcbyuri cuts herself off on a gasp, her footsteps immediately stopping and even staggering backward at the sight of him. For a moment, words get stuck in her throat, and then she manages to choke out, "H-Heath...?"

He's terrifying.

The mound that was supposed to represent her lover shifts to look at her, its shadowed face gazing emptily towards her eyes. Then, the rest of its body twists closer to her. Remnants of the same face form the lower body. Their eyes unblinking, and always watching in fear.

"Blood... Blood on my hands....." It shakily utters. "What have I done....?"

No. No, of course not. I shall set my gaze towards another Heathcliff first. I have caught wind of one of the many mirror worlds where L Corp is still standing. Perhaps I shall set course towards that one first.
