It’s also the cheapest and most natural thing you could put on your face – just cornstarch or arrowroot powder and spices. I love saving $$ & a great way to save $$ is to DIY your makeup. It's using stuff you already own(no need to buy more) & saves you time plus $$ using your stash instead of buying more that you don't need. . Today I made 2 DIYs: . 💗DIY face powder -I bought arrowroot powder organic from Amazon. You get a huge amount in it, yes you need to buy it but it will last you a longer then normal face powder because there's so much in it. I bought a small container blush or powder container (you can use one you already own but I didn't have an empty loose powder container because I don't normally buy loose powder. It was a good deal on Amazon. So if you need one, it was only $5 for 2). Add in a small amount of cocoa powder (most people have that in their kitchens) tiny at first to get your color to match. I added very little since I'm so light toned. Or no toned skin. . 💗DIY primer- these are all ingredients that you already own: . ⭐ aloe vera (I added a tiny amount since that stuff tends to irritate my skin too much, you actually skip that if you want) ⭐ glycerin (I use this in my DIY setting spray & I still have a ton left) 2 tbsp -used my kitchen spoons). Helps your makeup to last & stay fresh, makes it look matte ⭐ Moisturizer with SPF -that way you don't have to add SPF lotion. If you use SPF lotion alone, it can irritate & clog oily skin. That's why my moisturizer has it in it. I didn't measure this, I just squirted some in since mine is watery not thick like others are ⭐ Loose powder- here's where the DIY powder comes in. I didn't measure this just dumped some in. This is to help it to stay matte & last longer. ⭐ Foundation- make sure this is in your color. Of not, add more face lotion in it, it will lighten it. Pro tip!!! How much?? A few drops will do. . That's it! Your DIY makeup of the day. These 2 items can be pretty pricey so making them at home will help you save $ & use up your stash quicker.
