Lol since I was tagged twice I got six prompts:

For once I actually do have a WIP in the works (an AU where Scully is an astronaut, also a prequel to Purplerow by my friend @katy-kt-katie), progress on which got stalled when my apartment building burned down (long story) so we'll see if I can find a line for every prompt (some of them might be stretching it a bit but idc lol):

Family:

The colony had been established for research purposes, so the survivors consisted of some three hundred assorted biochemists, geologists, physicists, botanists, and the like, as well as their spouses and children— those few that had them, and also were able to convince them to uproot their lives and make a new home on another world. Ironically, they now had to do so yet again, although not by choice.

Passionate: (maybe not the kind of passion y'all had in mind but it's what i've got lmao)

Dana knelt to the ground to collect a soil sample. “It’s just that– we’re on Mars. We might find fossilized evidence of microscopic life today. I don’t wanna think about my problems with Ed. I wanna think about how much I love my job.”

Dread:

A skittering noise came from behind her. “Dana?” No sound but her heavy breathing in her ears. “Dana, are you still there?” She slowly turned around, hopping on one foot. “Dana? Dana!”

Relief: don't really have one for this and i'm too tired to dive through my other fics looking for one lol but i already had five different prompts so this was technically a bonus hehe

Screamed:

Dana looked down just in time to see a web of thin cracks spider outwards beneath her boots with an ominous crumbling sound. Before she could process what was happening, the ground gave way from under her and she cried out in alarm as she plunged down into a fathomless darkness.

Funny:

“Scully? Earth to Commander Scully, come in please!” Dana rolled her eyes. “That’s not funny, Monica.” A chuckle sounded over the other end of the comm system. “Sorry, Dana, I couldn’t help it. Seriously, though, are you okay? You kinda spaced out for a second there– no pun intended.” “Yeah, sorry, I was just thinking about Ed again. When did he start being such an ass? That was a rhetorical question,” she added before Monica could respond. “Being on this mission has not been good for his ego.” “His ego isn’t good for his ego. He wouldn’t even be on this mission at all if he wasn’t so good at his job, and everybody knows it. You could do so much better than him, you know that?”

How strictly do you follow canon?

I try to keep pretty true to canon when it comes to Tinker Bell’s characterization, though I’m also a big fan of AUs and exploring lots of different plots that might be unlikely for the original character, so I guess I don’t “strictly” follow canon.

Tink is a 5 inch tall fairy who can use pixie dust to make magic happen--including flight! If people don’t believe in her, she’ll die. She’s extremely emotionally volatile, but she’s a very loyal girl so if she likes someone she’ll absolutely sacrifice herself for their sake. (But if she doesn’t, she’ll be the one organizing their death.) Her name is Tinker Bell because she works with metal, repairing pots and pans, but also she just invents a bunch o’ crap like a tiny MacGyver. If there is ever a rule in her way, she will go out of her way to break it like stepping on dead leaves on the sidewalk.

Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?).

She’s a basic bitch? IDC how 2D the fanbase thinks she is based on which one of the canon portrayals they’ve seen of her. With all the adaptations I’ve consumed and can combine inspiration from to form a fully fleshed out character, I like my interpretation.

What inspired you to rp your muse?

Well...TBH I started out in this fanbase with an indie blog for Prilla, and then Terence. I first started playing Tink as just one of the possible takers of questions (among the rest of all fairies in the kingdom) on an ask blog for the Disney Fairies, 6 years ago.

I think I might have started writing her there just enough, or got deep enough in my reading/viewing Peter Pan media at some point, to take some interest in having a separate blog just for role-playing her, which I made. The original one I actually deleted after a couple months as far as I remember, but then I ended up remaking and have been on this same account for the past 5 years!

So, for the fact that this is my longest-lasting role-play (and writing in general) experience I’ve had, the strength of my inspiration for this one character and every little detail about her life and every possibility for her in alternate universes and in various situations with random characters...she was really the one who snuck up on me!

She wasn’t my favorite character BEFORE I started writing her, but she grew and grew in my heart until she’s all I think about.

What keeps your inspiration going?

I love Tinker Bell. Even if I become less active when life flares up for periods of time, then I’ll just remember that I love Tinker Bell and I want to come back and write about her. If I loved her any less she’d end up like the rest of my abandoned blogs/characters I’ve once played. But she sticks!

Do you accept criticism well about your portrayal?

I don’t think I’ve ever really received criticism about my portrayal, and I don’t mean that like “everybody thinks I’m perfect” but just that I’ve never reblogged a meme asking for anonymous crit, and nobody has ever just given me criticism unprompted either, so I don’t know how well I’d receive it!

I can say how I’d probably feel. Honestly, depending on the criticism, I would try to to understand it from an objective point of view and see whether it’s something I want to change/adapt, but if it’s something I disagree with (because we’re talking about portrayal which I take to mean “my personal interpretation of Tinker Bell’s characterization” which is the one thing I’m content with here) I would point out why I feel like my portrayal is justifiable.

If it’s criticism on my actual writing, I’ll definitely be open to learning and developing more--it’s just portrayal of the muse is so personal and subjective anyway that if someone really has a problem with my Tink....I don’t really care? Just find a different one, then. My Tink is going to be my Tink regardless of whether others appreciate my vision of her or not.

Do you like questions, which help you explore your character?

Sure! I almost never get character-building asks (even when I reblog memes for them) but I definitely welcome them and would love to have more!

If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why?

Might as well. We can definitely discuss WHY we each have a different interpretation, but in the end I’m going to have my own headcanons and they can have theirs. If I change my mind, then I have a new perspective, but if not then nothing is lost either!

If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it?

I’m not gonna take it personally. If they prefer a different interpretation, it’s totally fine to not follow mine and look for another one! I’m just here to have fun with a few people I really like writing with, not to be the “best” or most popular version of my character out there.

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it?

Roll my eyes and move on. I understand why some people don’t like the character, so it’s not like I’m gonna waste any effort defending her from hate--it’s their prerogative. I’ll just ignore it and love her extra.

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors?

Yeah, if there’s anything I’m consistently doing wrong, please feel free to point it out! Some things are just typos and don’t get caught before being posted, but if there’s something you’ve noticed me doing multiple times so it’s obviously an error of my understanding rather than a mistype, I would love to be able to fix it and become a better writer.

Do you think you are easy going as a mun?

More or less! I don’t bug anybody about replies, you can definitely take your time or drop things with me. I’m pretty chill to talk to OOC as well, if I do say so myself. I’m actually probably the one ppl need to be “easy going” with because I never reply to threads or texts soon enough, I’m horrible at keeping conversations going...But that’s what people have to put up with if they like writing with me, the saints <3

—    BASICS.

▸     IS    YOUR    MUSE    TALL    /    SHORT    /    AVERAGE ? My boy’s got an average height of 5′7″

▸      ARE    THEY    OKAY    WITH    THEIR    HEIGHT ? Yes? I mean Cloud doesn’t particularly care nor does it affect him when someone tries to tease him about it so he doesn’t have any insecurities regarding it at all. On a case by case basis where someone might just constantly nag him about it then okay he’ll probably say something but not because oh wow you hurt my feelings but because they’re being annoying and he wants them to shut up awraxa.

▸      WHAT’S    THEIR    HAIR    LIKE ? He’s got a porcupine head, no okay, so he’s a blond and his hair is all over the place, so it’s sloppy with no actual planned out way he wants it to look. The spiky hair is just all over the place. If it’s soft to the touch or not depends on the timing itself and when the person who wants to indulge in it does the touching. So his hair is long, initially (why he used to tie it in the first place/had the ability to do that), he’s got a large spike up and then one spike on a side to his face that frames it a little. However later on he makes it shorter so his hair is no longer as messy?? Or all over the place, but it’s spiky and still lacks a consistent image.

▸     DO    THEY    SPEND    A    LOT    OF    TIME    ON    THEIR    HAIR     /    GROOMING ? Yikes uh like I said he doesn’t generally care too much? Yeah he’ll spend a couple of minutes maybe trying to make himself presentable enough but nothing too picky or anything too drastic. What you see is what you get, is the kind of mentality Cloud has when it comes to his appearance....... ..well his hair too awraxa.

Not so much, again he’s got that: what you see is what you get mentality going, but I say not so much because there’s been instances where if he does like someone or has some sort of interest in them (like actually care for them) he’d change a few things here and there, but generally no. Cloud doesn’t care.

▸      WHAT    ARE    SOME    OF    YOUR    MUSE’S    BAD    HABITS ? He doubts himself a lot, deems himself inadequate, easily blames himself for just about everything, he’s currently not got a firm grip on his identity so there’s a lot of dissociation from his part (prompted or unprompted), he can be violent, doesn’t particularly like the idea of talking about his feelings mainly because he’s got no idea how to do it and just isn’t comfortable doing so, sometimes he doesn’t communicate when he knows it might be a good idea to do so, he deflects a lot, he can disconnect from reality, he talks to someone (it’s actually himself) in his head/will sometimes say things out loud, he’s a sassy and snarky little asshole who will give you attitude awraxa, and last but most certainty not least he’s that guy that doesn’t lower the toilet seat after he’s done peeing. There’s more but I did my best to generalize this so that I don’t drag this on too much lmao.

▸      HAS    YOUR    MUSE    LOST    ANYONE    CLOSE    TO    THEM ?      HOW    HAS    IT    AFFECTED    THEM ? OH BOY DID HE?? He lost his hometown, his family, his best friend, his other dear good friend, he lost himself as well so that counts too no one can change my mind. But it’s affected him a lot, like a lot- a lot, some of his “bad habits” are the aftermath of all that loss. There’s just so much I could ramble about here, it just really fucked him up, it fucked him up really bad.

▸      WHAT    ARE    SOME    FOND    MEMORIES    YOUR    MUSE    HAS ? Some of his fond memories are with his mother for the most part, he really loves her, another fond memory he has is with Tifa and the promise he had made her, and though utter chaos was the OG and their journey to stop Sephiroth he’s made a lot of fond memories with those he befriended and those who helped him out through that. Oh and Zack back when he was an infantryman, Cloud remembers Zack a lot.

▸     IS    IT    EASY    FOR    YOUR    MUSE    TO    KILL ? Yes it is, even if it isn’t his go-to for everything, Cloud can kill if he’s got no other choice but to do so or it would be the best option to take.

▸      WHAT’S    IT    LIKE    WHEN    YOUR    MUSE    BREAKS    DOWN ? It’s very, very horrible. Cloud crumbles from the inside out and takes the spirits away from him entirely. Cloud will fall to his knees, isolate himself, curl up in a corner, or hug his knees. He’ll hold his head and be shaky, not cry precisely, but he’ll definitely look like he’s on the verge of tears. When Cloud falls apart he falls apart very bad and it’s extremely difficult for him to get himself back up again, he’s in agony. It’s like the entire planet was dropped right on top of him. He’ll start to dis himself, say that he isn’t worthy of things, or that so and so events and things are his fault, that everything is his doing, that he’s done, he’s given up, he doesn’t want to go on, he doesn’t want to bring everybody else down with him. No, it’s really bad. It makes me cry.

▸      IS    YOUR    MUSE    CAPABLE    OF    TRUSTING    SOMEONE    WITH    THEIR    LIFE ? This is also a yes and no question. Yes because he /is/ capable of doing it and there are a select few who do have his trust, but also no because Cloud doesn’t consider himself a stable person (he’s very self-aware of himself) and knows that he might and still could be a potential danger to those around him and that isn’t something he wants to subject to others, especially not those dear to him even if it does bite him a little.

▸      WHAT’S    YOUR    MUSE    LIKE    WHEN    THEY’RE    IN    LOVE ? Awkward awraxa. Some tip toeing around. He’s very weird. Being in love is foreign to him, so he’ll be quiet, might come across as shy, which in part is true but it’s mostly because he doesn’t know what to do. He’ll stumble a lot with things to say and what he should be doing, be a bit overwhelmed over how he feels about said person, but would still want to show them that they mean a whole bunch to him so he’ll definitely be giving it his best even if he’s going at it completely blind-sided. Cloud’s a man for small details so he’ll do small little background things that might be missed or things that would go over the person’s head. But once he’s got a hold of the conceptual idea of love it’s over for you bitches awraxa. My boy is good boyfriend material.
