I’ve been feeling like a rough collie a lot recently but I think today I’m feeling like a foxhound~! Did the term ambitherian ever catch on? Bc dog ambitherian describes my experiences really well I’m a herding dog, hunting dog and hound in a very general sense but sometimes I’m also specific breeds ^-^ it’s kinda like I’m genderfluid but my genders are herding and hunting :p

Wanted to make an FaQ for questions that I've gotten a few times, or that I just want to clarify about!

Q: What species of bat do you feel connected to?

A: Although I use the term "therian" in general, I'm a bat ambitherian! I have a list of how connected I feel, like a ranking, on my pinned post. However to put it simple I feel like I'm every bat besides the hammerhead bat.

Q: Why do most of your posts have nonhuman and therian tags? You aren't talking about that!

A: Technically I am. My very fiber of my being is being a physical nonhuman. No matter what I post it is still technically about being nonhuman. I don't use those tags on my main blog because it used to be a fandom blog and some of my followers are still from that fandom.

Q: What does your URL mean?

A: batsbolts-andfangs, the bats part represents the fact I'm a bat, the bolts are to represent my Frankie Stein fictotype, and the fangs are to represent my Draculaura fictotype!

Q: What about Lagoona?

A: Lagoona is a less prominent kintype of mine, therefore she isn't featured on my URL.

Q: You have three Monster High kintypes, there's no way you're a "real" fictionkin!

A: that is utter bullshit. Just because I am a fictionkin of three monster high characters does not make me any less valid. I believe all non/alterhumans are equally valid and find claims like this stupid.

Q: Is your pup your dog?

A: No, I do not have a dog. My pup is one of my stuffed bats, her name is Pearl. Yes, I am fully aware she is a stuffed animal. Calling her my pup is a coping mechanism for me due to the fact I can most probably never have children.

This will be added onto as I get more questions or have new things I feel like clarifying.

Other things:

Alters have multiple kintypes so there will be times one alter is posting about a secondary kintype. though we all typically share a threatening wolf identity.

Previously "Scar" is a threatening wolf. Completely voided all of the lore around threatening wolves once the system reshuffle happened! We still dont know what it means to be this basically new species atm.
