A/N: I’m so sorry if I misrepresented ler moods in any way, I tried to read up and I’ll do my best but I am a very big Lee and have never had a ler mood before .

What a day

Mina couldn’t take it anymore.

She had wanted to tickle someone all day.

She had tried to hold out but she just couldn’t anymore! She wanted to see someone, anyone, laugh and squirm beneath her. Blushing adorably as she teased them in how cute they were. She wanted to take someone’s cares away, letting them just laugh and laugh and laugh.

She resigned herself to go find someone who hopefully wouldn’t mind.

Finally, with a sigh, she got up off her bed and quietly left her dorm, searching for a victim.

A smile slowly crept over her face when she saw Sero reading his manga in the common room, lounging and sprawled out.

‘Perfect’ her mind whispered as she crept up behind him.

As soon as he was about to turn the page, she pounced, squeezing his thigh quickly.

“Whahaht thehe HAHELL! MINAHAHA!” He yelled out , both in surprise and ticklishness.

“Hey Sero! Looks like the tickle monsters gotcha!”

“Whyhyhy meheheHe?” His squeaky giggles pulled something from Mina, encouraging her further.

“Convenience.” Mina replied curtly.

“MINAHAHA! Stohohop IHIT!” Sero cried , as the other hero in training started to pinch his elbows.

“Stop? I’m not doing anything!”

“LiHAHAR! NOHOHOT THEHERe! “

“Not where? This little cute sensitive elbow. Why? It seems to be working!”

Sero’s face erupted into red so quickly, Mina was almost impressed.

“DOHOHONT!”

“Don’t what? The tickling or the teasing?”

“StOHOP TEHEHEASIHING MEHEHE!” He said between gasps for breath

“Oh? So you do want me to tickle you, how cute! “

Sero needed to breathe, so Mina joined to his belly, a much less sensitive area, as Sero responded .

“Dihihid i Sahahay thahahat?”

“No. But you aren’t denying it.” Pinky replied with a shit-eating grin.

“Shuhuhut uhuhup!” Sero said, embarrassed flush intensifying on his face.

“Gasp! Did you just have the AUDACITY? The ABSOLUTE GALL to SASS me?! In your position! You are gonna regret that! “

Mina exclaimed (over-dramatic, of course.) before kneading into his elbows and giving his tummy a raspberry at the same time.

“wahahahit- mINHaHHAH! IM SOHOHORYHEHEHE! PLEAHEHEASSE STOHOHAHp! “

“Where’d all that sass go, now , huh Sero?”

“MIINAHAHA ! STOHOHOP! IK SHOHOHOHORYHEE! QUHUHE HAHAHACES COHOHISQUHIHIHLAHAHAS TAHAHN MAHAHLOHO!(it tickles so bad) “

“What was that? I’m sorry I don’t speak taco language! “

“MINHAHAHAHHA!”

She said , before crawling off of Sero from where she had him pinned.

“Whhahat… wahas… Ahall Thahat for?” Sero giggled out through phantom sensation.

“Oh. No reason. Just felt like tickling someone and you happened to be on the way!”

Thinking about Papa G...

I Like Him, here’s a post where I ramble about him and the theories I have about his past and future. This is the most open I’ve ever been about my thoughts on a hyperfixation have fun everybody Warning for spoilers

Hi I’m looking after my cats right now and had thoughts about Papa G on private while having a nosebleed and thought I’d write it out more on here since I haven’t seen anyone else point out some of these things and I have an evil brain that makes me want to think about Papa G because I love him he’s my favourite character right now, the more I think about Papa G the cooler he becomes and it’s true that I Do rotate him in my mind

Train of thought started with I was thinking about my OCs and thought what if Papa G had OCs, he’s an artist and has lived long what if he has just so many ideas for characters and stories that he’s accumulated over the years. Then now with his powers he could use his clones to help work on his stories and then he makes some sorta abstract and mysterious comic, like multiple comics and stuff and only shows it to Kid because he lives in the middle of nowhere and doesn’t really care about stuff like audience or publication he’s just living in some artistic bliss.

I think it’s cool that Papa G uses his clones to help with making his yard art but imagine having to wrangle multiples of yourself to create a narrative together. They’re all You but also Not You, think back to his character short where he’s making plans for a construction and makes a clone that instantly comes up with a different idea than him, so it must be wild having different versions of yourself that aren’t all on the same page as you (also in the short they like have different demeanours about them, shout out to silly balloon Papa G)

If Papa G let a clone of his live long enough they could become a completely different person. Different experiences and perspectives create a different version of Papa G. That idea is kinda scary to me especially if it were taken Long Term like a separate Papa G living separate from everyone. And I could see that happening in the show it’s just weird enough to happen. We had a Papa G be super traumatized, what if he let that clone exist longer.

Anyway you know how in that photograph in Mo’s Oasis that’s from around the 70’s that shows Papa G in the background looking Exactly how he does now... I really think time travel is going to be introduced in this, it could totally be the power of one of the thirteen stones and this show is wild enough to do it and is planned up to season 3. So I think what if some Papa G clones were left behind in the past. At this point I’d imagine that Papa G’s powers would be developed enough that his clones could live on without him (the team IS going to be understanding their powers more and gain new abilities, this could be one of Papa G’s.) SO what if those Papa Gs were scattered throughout time having to live out their lives. Imagine living the rest of your life in a different time and place knowing you’re just a clone and that you shouldn’t even exist :[ Papa G sadstuck (I’m sad at this thought)

ANYWAY I imagined a scenario in which one of the Papa G clones in the past contacts the Real Papa G in the timeline and tells him about the stones of power and THAT’S why Papa G said “if I had a nickel for every time I heard that I’d have a dime” to Kid who told him about the stones, hearing it the first time from himself. AND also WHY Papa G instantly knew how to use his powers. Plus also knew to trust Chuck (this ones a stretch I’m just being Gay here) this is where my initial thoughts ended

BUT NOW I HAVE MORE THOUGHTS!!! What if the reason why Papa G’s track record is “Surprisingly” long is because Well Papa G DID do some f*cked up things but also had the addition of some other Papa Gs stuck in the past to really muddle things up for his record as well. That’d be wild and could totally see happening, man. Man I love Papa G there is really no other character who is just a bundle of sunshine but have something Unknown and perhaps messed up implied about him, I want to know how much he has angered the government and want to know why he’s living out in the middle of nowhere with so few people to even know him. He’s just a silly old man.

Also this is because I never really venture out into looking into various media but he’s also the only character I know where their whole thing is creating clones of themselves and is actually given a focus into how f*cked up it is that he has to see himself die all the time and be numb to it, or clones doing things that his original self wouldn’t do and be traumatized by it. I know it’s WAHA funny gags but I think it’s interesting, it makes him a more interesting character to me. I like him I like that his name is George like me and is also an artist all he needs is to be trans gay and cree, alsoalso Green is my favourite colour and I love orange as well I like that he’s an old man in the middle of nowhere That’s The God Dam Dream

I don’t know if I have any more theories at the moment this turned into me gushing about a character who isn’t really too important but I like him ;_; thank you for reading once again I never usually talk at all but I like to when it’s about my favourite thing. I’m going to do things now goodbye

Q: And Tubbo here’s the thing, the saying I’ve always heard… is people will root for you until you are doing better then them alright?

T: Really?

Q: When you start doing better than them, that's when everyone turns on you and starts getting jealous and all that… you know um so I think this is a situation where maybe I don’t know Wilbur was rooting for us until

Q: We started doing better than them?

T: Heh yeah I mean we know, you know we haven’t really made any burgers yet and we’re not quite doing better yet but we should- we gotta work on that

Q: Oh Tubbo, Tubbo you shouldn’t even worry about that, I have so much trust in you to run this place, you know, I- this, this place ah has had the possibility of having many employees and I thought you were the best, and you, you were telling me telling me this whole thing about how you needed to find purpose, how you needed to do something

T: I just want to say thank you so much for letting me work here man I feel like I’ve not had much to do ever now since I’ve had this job like its nice to finally have a purpose, something to do, a reason to do stuff

Q: In Front of my country so um, you know what uh, it still feels a little weird, it it feels like a needle poking, I have no problems with you but there is something there that keeps me uneasy

Q: Tubbo, I don’t think , this is a really nice structure, this is a really nice structure.

T: More or less yeah, Started it all out under my name, definitely, I mean I’d like to leave the past in the past you know and just work on building from there

T: Yeah i'm a little apprehensive but I mean as long as I get ownership, it's just that you own the land

T: What happened with Lmanburg? Oh yeah I didn't see you after Technoblade left, to be honest I haven't seen much of Technoblade either, I barely have seen anything or anyone, like yeah I kind of have been isolated on my own just hanging out, like I said no kind of purpose, just walking around, drifting kind of you know living in the past mainly and im trying to move that behind me, uh well what happened with- uh after um well you went Awol in lmanburg well its all kind of a blur, all the values just changed away um like we lost our core values and the country fell after that. Which is really, yeah that's more or less it.

T: Yeah it's been, it's been I’m gonna be honest it's been a little bit upsetting as of late especially, I’ve just been missing it as it was a year ago yesterday… it all started and I've been there since the beginning of it and to see where its all come now has been a bit upsetting

R: I mean, how how did you make peace with him because the last time we spoke with him you were talking about how he had a roll in your… unfortunate uh removal of life

T: Yeah he did, but to be honest, this, it's a lot… Well no I’m not even sure it is as much Quackity’s fault as Wilburs, I don’t like- I was gonna die no matter what that day, it just happened. I mean, I I dont have much quarrel with him, he seems to uh I mean look at what he's built, he seems good

T: I mean I managed to also clean up all the ruckus over the cookie outpost and stuff as well so that's in the past now.

R: Wait, he's all okay with that now?

T: Yeah he promised me a good life,

T: No- no no no no it was, he talked a lot about Lmanburg and he

R: That wasn’t really much of a good life for you though was it?

T: Oh no you- you’ve only heard the bad bits of Lmanburg, lmanburg was amazing

T: Yeah so I- I figured out how to get rid of the tension regarding the cookie outpost, I signed a contract, dotted the t’s and the i’s put the past in the past I’m excited to uh keep moving forward its exciting

T: Yeah hes 100% okay, we basically came the agreement,

R: Awesome

T: I wasn’t being myself like before when I was working on the cookie shop, I- I was

T: upset and sad and I - I was like I just wanted to have something to feel part of something bigger again but then I realized that instead of fighting the thing that would of given me that feeling I tried to make my own, I dug my heels in, it wasn’t really the right thing to do I-

T: So we signed a contract, so the cookie shop is owned by me. It just exists in las nevadas now and.. yeah, it follows its laws and regulations.

R: Okay So is, is everything everything, um everythings everythings… w- wait so how exactly sorry did you make Quackity okay with it all?

T: We went up to the needle, we just talked it out, we wrote up a contract, we talked it out, basically agreed to have the cookie shop become part of Las Nevadas. Because I mean-

R: Wait, you gave away the cookie shop??

T: I didn’t give away the cookie shop away, I still own it, its just now part of las nevadas,

R: part of las nevadas which is owned by quackity,

T: Well yeah, but not entirely

T: no.. that's not how it works at all it it's still owned by me just exists in his territory

Studio V Project

Week 2 (March 2019)

Monday: Day 4 (04-03-19)

It’s the beginning of Week 2 and the stress is building up. After our usual BCT Weekly Meeting, I came back to Studio without any idea of what I was doing. I felt quite confused a quite frustrated. After looking back at my brainstorm from last week, I thought about how I can interconnect ideas and my concepts.

For most of the Studio, I gathered around a few students who were also confused and not a part of a group yet. I thought by sitting together and discussing our ideas, we would understand each other’s thinking and skills. I think this Semester is quite difficult for the Year Two students because they are unaware of how much freedom we have or they don’t have enough guidance from the criteria and the lecturers. I think I’m in the same boat as them because I feel like talking to a Lecturer once a week is not enough, and not having a brief is definitely making things difficult for me. Although I didn’t find a group, I think the others seemed to benefit from our discussion.

Last week, I had somewhat mentally prepared myself to work alone. And now, I think it’s better to  work by myself because only I understand my theme fully and have a personal connection to my project, so maybe it will be fine. I plan to talk to Andy tomorrow and hopefully figure something out.

Tuesday: Day 5 (05-03-19)

Today, Andy and Clint gathered our stream and divided us into groups of interest - people who’d like to work with installations, games and other media etc. At that point, I realised that I’d like to design and create an installation that showcases my concept. I think it would be a great option for this sort of work because an installation is quite general and can be perceived in different ways. I have always wanted to create something physical and this was my chance to improve on the skills required for this idea. Since I’ve also been wanting to work with AR, I thought that a physical artefact can be linked to digital data or something technical to improve the overall experience and enhance the concept. Surprisingly, there were students who were not a part of a group yet and were wanting to work on an installation.

So, Amelia, Harry, Waha and I began talking about what kind of concepts we’ve been researching and which themes we are interested to work with. After discussing for a while and getting some guidance from Andy and Clint separately, I felt like we were mostly on a different page. Clint somewhat gave us a direction and “where to go from here,” so we decided to write our individual pitch to see what exactly we have in mind. This would give us a better idea of what we’re all thinking and then decide if we’d continue as a group.

After researching for Installations on Pinterest, I found some quite cool ideas and different medias used to create all sorts of artefacts. I decided to write a Research Post just for ‘Installations’ to see and understand what aspects I would like in my end product and which form was the best in terms of emphasising the idea of FEAR.

As a “group,” we made a plan of action for the week, as well as set up a time to meet on Friday to write and submit the Pitch. When we finished, I was quite hesitant to work in this group because I realised that I didn’t know any of them too well and their work ethics, which is quite important for me. I had a chat with Andy about working alone for Studio, and he said it is possible. So, at this moment, I am seriously considering it, however, I am giving myself this week to see how I feel about working with Amelia, Harry and Waha on an idea. If I am still unsure by Friday, then I will submit my own proposal.

Friday: Day 6 (08-03-19)

Today, we had planned a group meeting to discuss our final idea and also develop our team Pitch for submission. Over the week, we all contributed to the Google Docs, and somewhat came up with an idea. Even after the meeting, I was unsure if I wanted to collaborate with Amelia, Harry and Waha on an idea that I’m not interested in. I didn’t think we were quite on the same page, so I started to work towards creating my own Pitch.

Studio V Project Pitch

WHAT (is the project?) I would like to design and create a physical/digital installation which awares people of their inner fears and instead of forcing the audience to overcome them, the installation would inform the audience (of the story behind their fear?) I would like the installation experience to be immersive (and maybe interactive) as well as different for every individual. I plan to explore forms of light, shadows and dark colours to emphasise the emotions relating to fears and create an intense atmosphere. I think a general installation can be interpreted differently for each person, however creating individual booths/artefacts add a personal touch while also allowing the user to feel however they want. I will prototype both aspects in order to reach the best result for showcasing this concept.

WHY (is it interesting / are you doing it?) I have a personal relationship with the concept of fear. I am quite scared of the sea/ocean, which comes from my lack of swimming skills so I want to delve deeper into what else I’m afraid of and how it’s impacting the decisions I make in life. Through my idea and installation, I want my audience to also think about their inner fears and how they can get to the root of the story.

WHO (is in your team?) I am planning to work alone. After discussing my ideas with students around Studio, I realised that my thoughts and plans were more personal, which meant that it would be best for me to design the project by myself.

HOW (are you to go about doing it?) I will research installations and the idea of fear and how it affects our choices throughout this semester. I aim to prototype different methods of showcasing what fear looks like, or what effects of fears are manipulating us, in order to get feedback and eventually present the best form of installation. Since the end result will be interpreted differently by each person, I will need to gain constructive feedback and advise in order to design an artefact which showcases the idea of fear in all its aspects. I also aim to get help from the Lecturers and take their advice/guidance into account.

WHEN (are the key milestones in your plan?) Weeks 2 – 4: Research (fear, choices, installations, methods, techniques etc.), Create a timetable and plan of action, Reflect on guidance from the Lecturer. Weeks 5 – 7: Continue ongoing research, Begin prototyping/physical experimentation, Design different ways of conducting the prototypes and get feedback for constant iteration. Prepare work for formative assessment. Weeks 8 – 10: Reflect on feedback received, Decide, establish and draw a design of the final artefact (aesthetic, mechanics, materials etc.), Continue ongoing research (focus on the aspects relating to the installation), Begin creating the Installation. Weeks 11 – 12: Continue finishing the Installation, Organise supplementary media in prep for open studio. Week 13: Project Due on June 7th, Aim for completion before June 3rd. Weeks 14 – 15: Reflection on open studio response, prep for final submission.

I think I’m pretty happy with what I’ve stated in the “Idea Pitch” above. Although it is not too clear what the end result will consist of, I believe that it still covers the main ideas I have thought about. I am also quite glad that I have created a basic timeline of the semester, so I can stay on track and work towards important things first.

Next week, I plan to get feedback from Andy or Clint about my “Idea Pitch,” and change things accordingly, if needed. I also want to start planning my first prototype / play test session so I can continue researching based on the responses and feedback from the session.

Final Frame and Canvas

I ended up not taking any photos at all because you just forget when you’re too busy. In this blog I will put details about the process of my final print and what I have learnt.

I went to the screenprinting lab early in the morning to get the final layout printed onto the correct size. We had to separate it into two A1 pages and frames so that the final poster could be A0. Printing out A1 pages take a really long time. I then oiled the paper and waited for the actual screen emulsion to dry. This would take about an hour so I had time to go and make the frame that the canvas would fit over. 

Struan had ended up making the screens for me. The last thing to do was to actually screenprint onto canvas that Donna has given us. This was the most difficult and crucial part of the process. We had a limited amount of paint and only one canvas. Looking back at what I learnt previously, I knew that to get the best results out of the conductive paint was to thin it with a small amount of water first. We also had another problem, I never had the time to screenprint onto actual canvas, it is best to test on the material before you do your final. So I just had to assume that it would work, I only tested with calico fabric so it shouldn’t be much different at all. The canvas fabric we decided to print on was a lot more textured. For the final screenprint, we had to use the big screenprinting table. The first side of the final was not as good as the second. There were more parts of it that was uneven and patchy even though it was layered. The second side of the canvas worked a lot better as I thinned out the paint even more and Waha got the hang of how to do it. Waha helped me to screenprint the final as I don’t feel that I would be able to put enough pressure onto the big screen and also the table was quite high. So it would have been physically difficult for me. 

The patchy parts of the conductive paint would obviously not work, this was just easily fixed by just carefully painting over it. 

Building Frame

I ended up building the frame on my own at the woodworking lab. With the help of the instructors there I was able to build a proper canvas frame. The group was going to to just screw the wood together without cutting the edge at an angle. This would make the final frame larger than A1. However, building the canvas properly was also a good thing as I realized later that the canvas fabric was not long enough to actually fit nicely all the way around an under the frame. This lead to the frame being visible on the horizontal edges of the frame. 

Putting Everything Together

The canvas was just attached to the frame with a staple gun. We had to try our best to stretch it as much as we could to create tension. Although we added an extra piece of wood to the middle of the frame for support and also tried our best to stretch it over the frame firmly. There was still quite a bit of tension that was lost in the middle, making it a bit loose only in the middle.

 Conductive Points

To create the conductive points, I sewed a bit of conductive thread onto each graphic so that there would be a connection point in the back of the canvas. I the used copper tape to map the conductive thread closer to the Makey Makey at the bottom of the canvas. Each point was then connected to a port in the Makey Makey using wire or conductive thread. The graphics and the corresponding keys were then noted down so that Tim and Watson could use them to activate animations and statistics. It also took a bit of time to make sure all of the points were conductive, the main problem was the copper tape, when some points didn’t work I figured out that just redoing the copper tape trail made it work. 

After creating the conductive points, I forgot that we needed a ground. At first I just used making tape to line out the strips and painted conductive paint on the sides. When I peeled off the masking tape, the paint had run through. The lines were not smooth, painting straight accurate lines with a brush would be even more difficult. I then tried to neaten it up using a meter ruler and a black marker. This had worked really well, you could barely tell. However, those ground points did not seem to work properly. I figured that it would just be safer to just put a line on copper ta[e on each side.This worked perfectly and it did really ruin the aesthetic of the poster.
