I lost track of time, so the lighting outside wasn’t that good. Anyway, Lily’s head arrived today! She’s a Doll Chateau Alva on a Dollzone body. She’s my first hybrid, and finally I have a Dollzone doll that isn’t in peach resin lol. I chose pink for the head, and the in-stock body is also pink. Also, my first Doll Chateau doll. She’s so cute! Alva’s my favorite sculpt, so I’m happy I got it during the discontinuation sale 🥰

Lily is friends with Bennett and Colin. The three of them all work in/for the magical pop-up library. Lily is head in the nonfiction department. She also loves to laugh and bring laughter to others and not just knowledge.

Can you please do a resin comparison of Myou white skin tone with Doll Family-h and other bjd companies that have jointed hands?

Companies that have yellow-toned white skins are good matches:

Angel of Dream, Chicabonita, Doll Leaves, Doll Love, Dollzone/Doll Chateau (sister companies), Mystic Kids, Souldoll, Sugarble, Xagadoll/Asleep Eidolon; Magic Time and Fairyland too, but their MSD dolls are smaller so parts may not be compatible.

Jointed hand candidates (handidates?):

Asleep Eidolon/Xaga Doll white 2021 looks fairly close to 2019 Myou white, and they offer 1/3-sized jointed hands.

Doll Leaves white is described as a good match in a comment from 2022, but the included photo link was broken unfortunately. I’ll see if I can ask the commenter to repost it!

Doll Legend jointed hands might have worked but the company seems to be defunct. ;-;

Doll Chateau’s 1/4 jointed hands fit nicely on Myou Doll’s 1/4 ver. 3 girl body. (A bit small on ver. 1 but still functional.)

A/n: In honor of pride month coming to an end, I decided to write my first wlw fic, hope you like <3 Sarah Cameron was the kook princess that everyone on the Outer Banks knew. She always looked good, with her hair perfectly smooth and soft, her skin sunkissed to perfection, and her confidence just adding to her natural good looks. You, on the other hand, felt like the complete opposite. As a pogue, you couldn’t afford any of the fancy clothes that she dawned, the skin care products that left her glowing, or find the strength to love yourself the way that she loved you. Sarah had constantly told you that she liked you as is, pressing a soft kiss to your lips in hopes of calming your racing thoughts. It never worked.

You were both each other's first girlfriends, and were completely new to the idea. Neither of you chose to put labels on your sexuality, you just knew that you each had feelings for one another. But, you couldn’t help but worry that feelings would eventually not be enough to keep the two of you together. That the divide between pogue and kooks would eventually become too much, forcing you two to end your relationship.

Kie placed her hand on your shoulder, snapping you out of your stupor. “Hey, you okay?” She questioned, clearly sensing your negative mood. “Oh,I,um..Its just sometimes I can’t help but think about how different me and Sarah are. How she’s a kook and I’m a pogue. How she gets dressed up and all girly, while every single piece of clothing I own has either a hole or a stain. You know, sometimes I feel like if people were to look at us walking together on the street, they’d wonder why someone that looks like her would want to be with someone that looks like me.”

Kie sighed, frowning and thinking about your predicament. She knew that Sarah didn’t care about your differences financially, and that she actually liked having a girlfriend that was so different from her. But, Kie could clearly see that this was eating you up inside. She raises her hand to brush a stray strand of hair out of your face that still vaguely smelled of the salt water you all had been swimming in for hours earlier in the day. “Do you really want to be more like Sarah?” She asks, to which you nod almost immediately. “Well then, it looks like you’re going to get kook-ified by yours truly.”

“Ok, we have some places that we need to go to in order to complete this makeover, but first, we need to take care of your eyebrows.” She said, pointing at the hairs right above your eyes. You huff, knowing that she’s right but resenting that it will probably be a very painful form of beautification. Kie sifts through her bathroom door before ultimately finding what she was looking for: wax strips. Before you can protest, she places a strip right between your eyes, smoothing it down. “Gotta get rid of any trace of a unibrow.”

“I don’t have a unibrow.”

Kie raises her brows, giving you a ‘whatever you say’ look before placing another strip above your lips. “I thought we were just doing the eyebrows?!” You cry, not appreciating the additional pain that Kie had subjected you to without your consent. “No peach fuzz either Y/n.” She mumbles before ripping off the strip between your eyebrows, eliciting a yelp of pain from your mouth. “Mother fu-” You let out before Kie places her hand on your mouth. “A kook wouldn’t curse at that. Remember, beauty is pain.” Rolling your eyes, you sit down on the lid of the toilet, starting to regret your decision to ‘beautify’ yourself for Sarah

“Hi, welcome to Sephora, how can I help you?”

“Hello, my friend here needs a consultation” Kie announces, pushing you forward slightly so that you’re standing face to face with the Sephora employee. The employee nods, plastering a grin on her face before leading you over to a chair where she would seemingly try to sell you as many Sephora products as possible. She pressed a futuristic looking contraption to your forehead, cheek, and neck, nodding as though she’s in deep contemplation. “Ok, so it looks like you’ve got some discoloration, I’m going to suggest this foundation and powder duo, which I just shade matched you too!”

Hesitantly, you grab the makeup, carefully reading the text on the sides before ogling at the price. “Um, Kie, this is $40? For glorified face paint and baby powder?” you whisper yell at her, causing her to nervously smile at the Sephora employee, who just walks off after Kie ushers her away. “I will pay for it, don't worry, but you’re getting it Y/n.” She says, her voice turning more serious than you had thought it would in a situation like this. “Remember, you’re doing this for love right?” You glare at Kie, knowing she’s right and that you had asked her to do all of this for you. You just kept repeating in your mind that this was for Sarah, and this would bring the two of you closer together.

After a grueling 24 hours, your makeover transformation was complete. Kie had applied all the makeup to your skin and eyes, leaving you ‘glowing from within’. Or at least that’s what the youtube tutorial that she had followed said. Your hair was actually styled for once, instead of loosely flying in the wind, up and out of your face. You wore one of Kie’s sundresses, the color complimenting your skin tone well. The two of you walk up to the chateau, and whatever conversation that was happening between your other four friends ceased when they saw you and your new look.

“What's up with your face?” JJ let slip, earning a smack upside the head from Pope and a glare from Kie. “She’s wearing makeup, JJ. What's it to you?” JJ gulps, recognizing that tone from Kiara and knowing he was about to get an ass whooping if he didn’t shut up. “N-nothing, ya look good Y/n.”

You face is burning at this point from all the attention and you suddenly find the floor very interesting before hearing your girlfriend say, “I need a beer. Y/n, come with me doll?” Looking up, you see Sarah with her hand outstretched for you to take, which you gladly do, and the both of you head inside the chateau, leaving the whispering three boys for Kie to deal with. As soon as she hears the door shut, Sarah spins on her heels to face you, clearly not coming inside for any beer. “What are you doing?”

You furrow your brows and tilts your head to the side, slightly confused. “What do you mean what am I doing?” Sarah huffs before gesturing to your entire figure. “I mean all this. The hair, the clothes, the makeup. This isn’t you, Y/n, and frankly I don’t like it very much.” Your eyes water, and you suddenly find it very difficult to look Sarah in the eyes. “But I did all of this for you..” you mumble, letting out a shaky breath. Now it’s Sarah’s turn to be confused, wondering what on Earth would possibly make you think she could want any of this. She gingerly raises your chin slightly, forcing you to look her in the eyes. “Baby why would you think I want any of this? I love you as you are.”

You roll your eyes, pulling away from her. “Cut the crap Sarah. You’re a kook and I’m just some dirty pogue that you’re bound to leave some day for someone else with a bigger house, bigger boat, and more money.”

“Hey, hey, hey.” She mutters, grabbing your face in her hands so that you have to look at her once more, pulling you out of your self-pity rant. “I thought that we were stronger than that. You know that I don’t care about all that kook pogue bullshit. My love for you is bigger than any of that. I love you for you, messy hair, stained clothes and all. I love you because of the things that make us different, not in spite of them. Don’t think you ever have to change for me, cuz trust me baby, you’re perfect as is.” 

You’re left speechless by Sarah's speech before a smile starts to creep up on your lips. “Did you just say that you love me?” You giggle, already knowing the answer. Sarah’s cheeks heat up, but she just rolls her eyes, pulling you in for a passionate kiss.

Shipping is a little different on dolls than the rest of my items. I ship fully insured via priority mail in the USA and do ship internationally. However, I fully declare and won’t markdown packages. 

1-2 Mr Bunny by Dollzone normal pink I got him second hand at Resin Rose and would much rather trade something from the items below or other posts to get it a proper Dollzone body, but if anybody is open to buying outright he’s $100 and includes the glass eyes pictured

3-4 Bambicrony CB body in normal peach, doesn’t work for Mr Bunny. Does work great for Harucasting Adori heads, which is what I used it for until I got mine a different body. Double jointed elbows! Very cute! $135

5 Granado jointed hands in white $140 fits Embody and other similar 70cm bodies. I have more photos and can show them on various bodies from my personal collection if you’d like to see them.

6-8 Doll Chateau Delia in the new white $85 including default glass eyes. I got her from Mint on Card after a long long long wait. She’s now discontinued and still incredibly cool. Has some remnants of one of my faceups in the corners of the mouth and eyes. The head fits on the Bambicrony body but it is a hybrid of nightmares and horrors.

9-10 Dikadoll 60cm boy hands in normal yellow. $40 I got these second hand and they may be yellowed, but I don’t know. They’re pretty cool basic jointed hands.

Dear doll companies, PLEASE STOP DISCONTINUING ALL THESE DOLLS AT ONCE. I AM FUCKING BROKE! Sincerely, Me

At the end of May, Dollzone's little demonish dolls will be DISCONTINUED. I am pretty sure I had read somewhere that these girls were not going to be limited. They were only on sale for a short period of time for not being limited dolls. I wonder what could have happened to make Dollzone decide not to sell them anymore? Where they too difficult to mold and cast? Did the original sculptor back out of a contract or something? We may never know. I am just glad I was able to get my hands on one and a very limited brown one at that! (Just checked the website and the Fanen series dolls are listed under the limited tab.) I like the color of my doll, but the deep color in the promotional pictures is different than in real life. I am still deciding on how to customize her, just like....ALL my other dolls. This was my first time ordering through the USA agent BJDivas. I usually don't like going through agents because the wait times are increased by several months. The reason for this is because some agents wait and send in the orders in batches. For example, I am pretty sure Denver Doll Emporium will not send in orders to the doll companies until they have reached a certain amount of orders or dollar amount. Another factor could be that the doll companies themselves will not send out the orders until they have quite a few dolls to send together. In the case of BJDivas, I believe they said that they send the order in right away. However, I am almost positive the orders are only sent when a large number of them has been completed. I had started seeing brown girlies for sale on DoA and facebook, and I kept checking my order but the status was not changing. I contacted BJDivas to ask how much longer it would take and they stated that they had received a large shipment from Dollzone a while ago, but had yet to go through anything to see what was what. They said they would contact me back ASAP and let me know if my Fulai was there. Ten days later I had not heard anything so I contacted BJDivas again. They said they still had not gone through anything, but that my Fulai was defiantly there. They also wanted to charge me shipping ($13) and I had to remind them they I had already paid $18 for shipping when I bought the doll. BJDivas said they would refund me the difference unless I wanted insurance. I did, so I had to pay them about $7 more on top of the $18.00. There for I paid $25.73 in total for shipping. If I ordered through them directly (or through ACBJD) I would have paid about $30 for EMS shipping and that price already includes insurance. Not only that, but I would have received the order a lot sooner. I went through BJDivas to save some money on shipping, but in the end I didn't save anything. I think from now on I will order through the companies themselves. Unfortunately, I have about 6-7 more orders coming form BJDivas. Lesson learned I guess! What a long winded post. Anywho, here is the Dollzone Snow Fulai box opening.

I will post the Morfeo box opening up on youtube later, as I haven't gotten it off my phone yet. I will be taking my time deciding on a body for him.

theyre a doll chateau noah!! hand for scale lmao. im so excited to paint them but i still need to figure out what i want them to look like. i tried to brainstorm some ideas but it was tricky bc i couldnt find a many examples of the peach skin aside from the swatch photo so i wasnt sure what colors would look good, which in turn meant i wasnt sure what style i wanted to go for... i was pleasantly surprised that it was not nearly as pink as id expected, which really opens up my options!! gonna revisit my sketches today & see what i come up with :)
