Why I had basically NEVER seen art or fics about Kaede floating around like Makoto and Hajime have zillions of. But I'd seen plenty of Shuichi. It was a little weird to me but tbh I just figured it was just the fandom in general caring/thirsting more about the Cute Anime Boi over a fem protag lmao. So I didn't put much stock in it.

Is it bad that I kinda wish the answer was sexism? 🤣 Lmaooo

Hey! So happy you started v/3! I really hope you’re enjoying it so far! The ride is gonna be crazy ^^ ummm hoping I can soon ramble to you about it! Who’s your favorite character so far?

Yesss I'm really liking it! I think this one took the longest to get to the first trial (or at least it felt that way? I think I hit like 6 or 7 hours before we got into it) but it's been a lot of fun! The more 'neon' aesthetic this one has going on with the interface/character emojis is interesting too. Yesss I'll def ramble to you about it when I get further in omg, I've been dying to talk about it already!!!

I'm gonna try to finish the 1st trial tonight, I hit the intermission before bed last night lol. I'm grateful for those bc I forgot you can't really save in the middle of trials iirc 🥲

My three Big Favourites are:

1. Kiyo (Anthropologist guy) - I'm simping so hard for him jfc

Tied for 2nd. Gonta (big bug gentleman) & The Maid Lady

Given my obsession with Gundham Tanaka in SDR2, Kiyo & Gonta probably surprise none of y'all lmao

I also really like The Short Tennis Guy, KI-BO, The Mage Girl, and Kaede and Shuichi.

Most of the others pique my interest.

Except for 'Degenerate Male' girl and Kokichi. I want to like her and will probably warm up eventually, but her shtick is already seriously getting on my nerves. & I never thought a character could annoy me more than Nagito but Kokichi is doing it with all his constant crying and whining 🙃 Unfortunately I'm pretty sure he'll be in the game most of the time given he seems very important (at least from the sheer amount of memes and fanart I've seen over the years) so... I guess I'm stuck with him RIP. I hate his guts and not in a love-to-hate character way lol, but I'll admit he's got some HILARIOUS lines so far. His burns towards the others are lethal lmaoooo 🤣

Sorry to all u Kokichi fans 😔🙏 I know he's MEGA popular akflgl I'll try not to be too negative about him publically lol

Also I like the new Monokubs! I think Green, Yellow, and Pink are my faves. I have Theories about the cubs actually, but I need time to think it over... 🤔

But yeah!!! I think your faves were KI-BO, Shuichi and Kokichi iirc, right? At least I think you wrote about them a lot in your fics I have bookmarked lol

Not saying much else rn bc I'll try to compile my Thoughts later after the first trial (I'm just about to start it) but so far I gotta say I LOVE the steel balls on Kaede as a protag lmao. Makoto was such an uvu doormat and Hajime was slightly sassier but still didn't have much of a spine ngl.

This girl is constantly calling ppl out on their bs lmao. Calling ppl bitches or telling them to shut up bc they got nothing important to say. Said Miu had COW UDDERS. Was 100% down to go thru the death guantlet a zillion times. Also she's constantly teasing Shuichi just to watch him get embarrassed and stutter lmao.
