The rectangular shaped gift slipped from his hand and into Morty's palm. "Here, d-don't say I never get you anything," And after a few beats of nothing. "H-Happy birthday."

This surprised him, but who was he to question anything that Rick did? He took the present and unwrapped the plain blue paper. Only to reveal a video game. Not just any video game though.

"I-Is this....?"

"Mhm."

"A-And the...?"

"A-Already set up in your room, go have fun."

Well, shit, he was going to have some fun today. He was fast on his feet as he hugged the scientist. Only briefly. Then heading up towards his room. He was going to play this game all day. No interruptions.

There's the sound of electrical sparks, buzzing and drills coming from the garage. It'd been a while since he were on the surface of his garage. Given that these days he hid himself down into the lower depths of the garage. Within the subterranean lab, where not only no one could hear him, but there was more room to work.

All in the pursuit of finding him.

Although, today was a bit different. He couldn't have the family catching on about his and Morty's disappearance. Things were starting to look suspicious and he needed every single second (if not, every sing millisecond) to achieve what he wanted. Revenge.

The different mechanical parts on the work bench were humanoid, mimicking features of that his and grandson's appearance. It wasn't a good fix. After all, the time he did this before, the family eventually had caught on because the robotic idiot couldn't hold in a secret.

He would have to work on that as he coded.

For now, this would just have to do while he focused on what really mattered.
