it is very telling seeing whether people come out after watching "quiet on set" w the mindset of "yes drake bell was sexually abused as a minor BUT he also plead guilty to inappropriate interactions w a minor a few years ago" or "yes drake bell plead guilty to inappropriate interactions with a minor a few years ago BUT he was also sexually abused as a minor".

#quiet on set #drake bell #my 'take' is that there are no 'but's in all this #drake bell was severely sexually assaulted as a minor.#drake bell as an adult shared inappropriate messages w a minor.#drake bell has pleaded guilty to those charges and has acknowledged his wrong doings.#that minor has accused him of worse and says she is traumatized by what hes done.#drake bell is in therapy and has gone to rehab to discuss the effects of what happened to him as a teenager.#these all coexist. there are no 'but's here #its very interesting to see how people here talk about the cycle of abuse #they acknowledge that it happens. but to some people. if u do continue that cycle u no longer are a victim anymore #thats not how this works #everything that has happened to drake bell and everything that drake bell has done #none of it makes one thing less true than the other #and i think what we should be focused on instead of 'oh so is drake bell canceled or not?'#is what the documentary is really about. child safety in the entertainment industry
