DOMINIC AT #DREAMITATHOME5 [pt. 4]
The first question was about Matt and Kat’s new project “Push” and they both said they’re playing very different character from what they were used to and they had a lot of fun filming it, there’s a lot going on. Matt also said that people will debate about the characters.
Irene’s question was about their characters Kurt, Mia and Alec: if they’d like each other when they’d first meet and how would they organise an escape plan together. Kat said that Mia and Alec probably would do some kind of archery competition and that they’d be confused  about Kurt’s outfit. Dom said Alec wouldn’t like the other people and Matt added he would be perplexed on why they’re not wearing fighting gear but they’ll keep it professional and they’ll try to find an escape plan.
Evelin’s question was about who managed to stay in a better shape during the show without messing up their diets. Dom mentioned that Alberto was way too in good shape and had to “diet back” at one point. Matt said that the show was filmed in a long period of time so when they had time off it was really hard to stick to the diet and Dom added that they started eating cheeseburgers and donuts on the first day of freedom.
Next question was about what they took from set. Dom and Matt started saying that Kat got everything, she came in with a trolley and took everything she could and that know she’s denying so she wouldn’t get sued. They then started talking about how they tried to hide things that happened while shooting, like when some things fell or Dom punching the mirror and hiding is bloody hand or Kat’s broken heel in Paris.
For the next question they had to tell a funny story from set. Matt said the day when they were fighting a demon and he shot an arrow to the microphone. Dom mentioned when they shoot zooms scenes on their face because it was very hard to not burst out laughing. Kat also mentioned the first scene with the werewolves in season one.
Elizabeth’s question was about what would they do when the pandemic will end. Dom plans to go back to England as soon as he can and then wherever work needs him to be. Matt said Dom shouldn’t leave because he just got there. They then started talking about Dan and how big he is and how he needs more attention than an actual child.
Last question was about where they would like to play and which character if they could choose their next role. Matt would play a bad guy in a jungle who will be attacked by an animal at one point, Dom and Kat said they’d like to go everywhere.

DOMINIC AT #DREAMITATHOME5 [pt. 3]
First question: date and place of birth. Matt got the place right, Kent, but said that Dom’s birthday is everyday in his heart. Dom said Matt was born in Dumb-Dumb town on Novambuary 32nd. Then they discussed that Matt was born in NYC and moved to  dumb-dumb town after that moment, and that they also named the wing after him.
Second question: the other one’s student job. Dom said Matt has never worked a day in his life, so they started discussing about how they actually met if he had never worked before: a guy who was always on set for no reason. His student job actually was as an astrophysics intern. Dom’s student job was a barman but Matt thought it was a job at a summer camp. Matt also asked if every British male has to work in a pub at least once in their life.
Third question: favourite country they’ve traveled to together. Dom said Crete and Matt said Spain, then he complained that the question was about a country and not the specific place so Dom said that what he wrote actually was the Sanskrit for “Spain”. They both actually enjoyed Spain and Greece very much because they’ve visited beautiful places (like the zoo, Matt added).
Fourth question: the worst nickname they gave to each other. Matt answered first saying "coworker", then Dominic showed his paper on which it was written "fat Matt", but then said that on set they were all jealous of his body.
Fifth question: each other's hidden talent. Dom went first because Matt had no idea what his hidden talent was and said it was "acting". While for Matt Dom's talent is looking stupid while sleeping and Dominic agreed, adding that he also throws punches while he sleeps.
Sixth question:  the other's favorite meal. Matt was quite sure about his answer and went first saying Dom's favorite meal to cook is the sheperd's pie. Dom agreed and then answered the question saying Matt doesn't eat and lives of the energy of the universe, just like plants. They then started discussing photosynthesis and the visible spectrum.

DOMINIC AT #DREAMITATHOME5 [pt. 1]
For the first question, they've been asked what would their names be if they were a cocktail and a song. Dom said Katherine's cocktail would be a Ginger Scotch and her song 'Moss' from The Planets. For Kat he would be something old fashioned with a twist and his song would be 'Go the distance' from Hercules.
Sylke's question was about the best advice they received professionally and personally. Dom said the best advice he has ever received was to always have your goal in front of you, whatever you want to achieve. Kat's is to never lose the sparkle that makes you different.
Lina asked if there are any Clace bloopers that haven't been shown. Dom replied that every scene they filmed in four year has at least one blooper and Kat agreed.
Next, they've been asked if there is any workout exercise that they hate. Dom said he hates all of them and the only reason he does them is because of work. Kat has a difficult relationship with burpees.
Carolina asked what they would do if they were given the opportunity to direct an episode of Shadowhunters, giving a musical episode as a suggestion. Dom said they told him they would have done one, and he told them he would have agreed to do it only if Matt sang a solo in the episode, and he would never do that. On the contrary, Kat said she would have done a musical episode and that would be a funny thing to do. She also said that she would do a Shadowhunters quarantine edition Dom likes the idea, but added that they would kill each other because six/eight months without killing demons would have resulted in Jace killing someone.
The last question is about the craziest thing they've always wanted to do. Dom said he has done a lot of his and he needs to find new things to add to the list. Kat said she wants to go to Machu Picchu, hiking and climbing it.

DOMINIC AT #DREAMITATHOME5 [pt.2]
The first question was about what he does when he’s having a bad day. He replied that he’d talk to his friends, hang out with Dan or do surfing, but he also adds that it’s a personal thing so it would be different for everyone.
Next question was about how exactly he got involved in Shadowhunters. He explained that agents get a list with all the roles available at the moment, you go in for an audition and if you fit the criteria you get called again until eventually you get the offer.
Caroline’s question was about the skills learned on set and Dom said that it’s very useful to keep up with what he has learned in case it gets useful in future roles. He mentioned martial arts, surfing and gun training.
Lena asked what he has been tricked into believing or doing. He replied that when he was in Australia, some fans told him that the birds would bite him and so he was constantly afraid of birds when walking, but then it turned out to be a prank for tourists.
Next question is about the hardest thing for him when he’s acting. He says that connecting to characters who lost someone is very hard, but all the emotional scenes usually are.
He then received a question on the chat asking where he leaves his pets when he’s not in LA. He replied that there’s a dog hotel that Dan really likes to go to or sometimes friends look after them or also people working in pet care. But he has always been in LA lately and Dan was able to go on set with him on Penny Dreadful.
In the next question he’s been asked if he ever thought he could have done a part in a movie better than the actual actor. “Every film I’ve ever seen” but no, never. He said he sometimes watches the parts he was close to get and think that he could have done that but at the same time it’s not beneficial and he tries not to.
The next person asked about the idea of creating an animal rescue since he loves animals so much. He said he had never thought of that because it’s really hard work and he doesn’t have the time to that and it wouldn’t be fair because he wouldn’t commit 100% but he’d like to to go volunteer and help soon. He also added he’s really careful when he takes part in fundraisers and he makes sure the money really go where they say they’ll be going, he really has to be sure before doing something.
Next question is about whether he’d like to do comedies and sitcoms. He said that he’d like to because he hasn’t really tried it yet so he would definitely consider it.
Michaela’s question was “if you had the world’s attention for 30 seconds what would you do”? “I’d show my bum” - Faccina con lacrime di gioia - he would actually try to encourage people to be nice and more understanding of other people’s individuality like spiritualism, gender identity, sexuality profession, nationality. He adds that he always see people online get aggressive with each other because they disagree and he thinks it’s not fair to do it without having heard their opinion first.
The next question was about books and he said that his workload got very busy and all he’s been doing is reading scripts for the past weeks so he really hadn’t time to read other things.
Last question is about what he thinks of success in acting, who are his idols and what he admires the most about them. He mentions Daniel Day Lewis and Helen Mirren because you can see that they care a lot about what they do and they’re so talented and hard working.

DOMINIC AT #DREAMITATHOME2 [PT. 4]
Q: I saw pictures of you in Vancouver a while ago, were you filming something? D: No, I was in Vancouver with Luke just for fun and then I was there with a friend of mine a coupe of dusts ago when he was filming a show.
Q: What was your very first shadowhunters scene? D: I think it may have been the scene at the Pandemonium or when I was walking following the shape-shifting demon.. I’m not sure, but it’s one of those two.
Q: How was the dance with Michael? D: First of all, performing next to Patti LuPone signing which was amazing. We worked with a guy called Tommy who is the most incredible dancer and I’m not a dancer by nature and he walked me all through it. Michael really is a beautiful dancer so he took the lead and the first dance we learned - which didn’t get into the show - was a waltz. I was the girl so I had to learn everything backwards and it was going to be me because I was relying on him to introduce me to this world.
Q: What do you do when you find youserlf in a dark slump? D: I rely on my friends. I have a trick for this, I know there are things that make me smile like taking the pets out for a walk or even sat in the backyard or workout, and knowing that when your in a dark place you can rely on those things, for example even only hanging out with friends and family without necessarily talking but just having them around, my mom and dad are very good at cheering me up.
Q: How do you choose the roles you have done? D: People think you have more control as an actor like ‘I wanna do this” but I just want a job. So many people do what we do and it’s so competitive. After shadowhunters I started being a little selective, when I finished that me and my team sat down and decided the next step should be something different and even if Penny is in the supernatural world, Kurt isn’t aware of it. So to me realism was very important, then the opportunity to work with Natalie, Nathan and Daniel and of course John Logan it was absolutely outstanding and something I wanted to be part of, and that was the moment I actually started to say no to things I didn’t want to do because normally you just want to be working.
Q: if you could be on any show, past or present, which show would it be? D: Band of Brothers is an amazing show with amazing actors and cover such a tricky subject matter which I’ve been really enjoying with Penny again with realism. It’s part a tv show and it’s part a documentary where you learn about some really important historical events.
Q: What do you think about Brazilian fans? D: You guys are pretty intense, you got a lot of energy and I love that. We were in San Paulo for a comic con 4 years ago and we never had a response like that before and it was absolutely insane, the passion you have for things you care about is very humbling having around so many people that are so supportive. That’s why me and the rest of cast like doing things like these, because we’re surrounded by people who care about us and enjoy what we are doing, which we love to do as well and we unify it and that’s a very profound statement.
Q: What’s your favourite board game to play for family game nights? D: My games with family always end up in some sorts of argument. My brother who is closest to me in age is a doctor and he’s very intelligent and very good at things like board games, which I find infuriating as he always wins. We play games like Linkee, Codenames, Milwaukee, Cranium but normally we never play because that’s how someone would end up dead in my family and it would probably be me.
Q: During Shadowhunters you had to train to do all the flips? D: The flips are relatively easy, you need to understand how to use your body to make that motion happen. The harder ones are the falls and what they do is to make you fall in some kind of boxes. I have to give credit to the stunt team, Dean was one of my favourite friends and I trusted him with my heart so. I’ve been trained from 10 feet, then 15, 20. When you trust these people you know they’re keeping you safe. It was a little nerve wracking when you look down.
Q: If you had to play in a lypsinc battle, who would you want to be paired with and what song would you sing? D: Luke would probably be a good show, Matt would be very entertaining and I think he’d hate every second of it. With Luke it would be some Britney Spears songs.
Q: If you could describe Jace and Kurt in one word what would it be? D: Jace is a good guy and Kurt is a bad guy, that’s it.
Q: If Jace or Clary would propose to one another, how do you think they would do it? D: I think it would be cool for Jace to do it in the greenhouse - where they had their first kiss - with flowers blooming at that exact moment.
Q: There are any scenes with Jace you didn’t get to film but you would have liked to? D: The one thing I would have liked to loot at more was the bond between Jace and Jonathan which we saw end it up in Clary’s way, which was great but I was very looking forward to it.
Q: Going back in time, you’ve worked with Cameron Monaghan in Vampire Academy. Have you met him again since then? D: Yes, we bump into each other all the time me and Cam but yes, mostly at showtime events and he is as handsome as ever and it’s always good to see him again.
Q: Is it being famous a blessing or a curse? D: I don’t love it, if I could do what I do anonymously, having my privacy and still tell stories and make people enjoy them, then I would probably do it that way. I really like my privacy and it’s very important to me. But on the other side, if it wasn’t like that I wouldn’t get to meet you guys and all the people who tell me I did good job, which I really love and I really do appreciate that.

DOMINIC AT #DREAMITATHOME2 [PT. 2]
Q: What was the most difficult thing for you playing Jace? D: The emotional/broken side of him, loss and dealing with someone who is so emotionally fragile. It was hard because I always had to keep that in mind during that day.
Q: Have you ever thought about doing theatre and in what type of plays you would like to see yourself in? D: Actually before Penny Dreadful I was very close to be on a show on Broadway but I didn’t want to go through with the audition because I’m not comfortable with my signing voice and I’m not a massive dancer, it was for the lead of the show and it was based on a movie from the 90s. I was called to go to New York with the other actors and then they sent me 3 original songs but I couldn’t understand the script so I called Tessa [Alberto’s girlfriend] who helped me through the whole thing which was kind of her and I’ll be forever grateful to her.
Q: Do you have any advices for who wants to become an actor? D: The number one thing I would say is that you have to make sure this is what you want to do because it’s hard work and you get a lot of “No” and you’ll never understand why and very often you don’t get a feedback from these people.
Q: You handle negativity gracefully.  D: Here’s my thing with negativity: you can’t have positivity without it. The biggest thing was about the slur that I said and that it hurt so many people and it was absolutely incorrect on my part and the people were absolutely just. The hate, depending on how it was phrased some potentially went too far like d*ath threats that aren’t really appropriate to anyone, but I heard these people and I understand why they were angry and they needed to use their voice to tell they were upset and that makes perfect sense. What’s really important is that you have to remember that when someone is upset, you need to talk about it and that there’s no light without darkness.
Q: Are you hoping to do projects in England anytime soon? D: The issue is that you shoot in certain places usually because production gets a huge tax break for example when we filmed Shadowhunters in Toronto and not New York. Right now it’s very expensive to film in the UK and the projects working there are the biggest in the world like The Witcher, Cursed. The hope is always to get back and to work on something unique,   now I’m in LA but if a job comes up I’ll go wherever I’ll need to.
Q: How did you manage to work in the US not being American? D: I have to thank Taylor Swift for this, when she asked me to do her music video I was working in the USA and I didn’t have an American Visa and she wanted to shoot the video in two weeks but it wasn’t enough time to get a Visa, so she involved her lawyers and I got it on time. Since then it was easier to get one because of the previous one and so on, right now I have one thanks to showtime.
Q: When you wanted to become an actor, what was the hardest thing to sacrifice? D: When I’m working and travelling, the hardest thing is not being able to go back and see my family or the people that I care about in the UK.
Q: Was it hard to get in your character Kurt? D: Kurt has a lot going on, that’s the most naked I’ve ever been on screen and that was a little frightening because it’s a whole new level of exposure I’ve never been through before. But having Michael with me, he’s an amazing scene partner and if I had to be naked with anyone I’m glad it was Michael. There was a lot of speculation about if it was hard for homosexuality but it wasn’t really an issue, it’s just a relationship. The hardest thing was getting into the mentality of a gestapo and someone who is so willing to end the life of people around him and it was really uncomfortable. I made research about it and it was hard and heartbreaking because it’s something that still happens. But I wanted to do him justice and to show him as a villain for his beliefs and I didn’t want to humanise him too much because of this mentality and I wanted to show that it is wrong.
Q: If you would go to one convention as a fan, of which show would it be? D: Anything with Margot Robbie in it.

DOMINIC AT #DREAMITATHOME2 [PT. 5]
Q: What do you think of the end of the series and would you like a season 4? K: I obviously wish we could continue working together because we had a great time. But we had a good finale that did justice. N: We were really lucky to get a finale because a lot of shows get cancelled without it.  D: I agree.
Q: Did you take any souvenirs from the set? A: I took the mark of Cain's rock. D: I got the falcon statue from Jace's desk. K: I took the mannequin from Clary's room. N: I have almost all Maryse's clothes.
Q: What's the theme song of your life? A: Arthur's theme (tv show). D: "Ain’t No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye L: "Chasing highs" by Alma. N: "Summertime " by Ella Fitzgerald. K: "My shot" from "Hamilton" the musical.
Q: Who's the best and the worse father in Shadowhunters? K: Luke is the best father and Valentine maybe is the worse but also Asmodeus. A: Asmodeus but also Valentine, at least he was telling people he was trying to make the world a better place. N: It's worse if you think you're doing the right thing. Also Robert was a crappy husband and not a great father.
Q: How many times did you have to dye your hair? D: Kat is naturally ginger so she's dyeing it now to look not how she did. K: They did make it a little bit redder.  D: A little bit? In season one it was ridiculous. We got dyed once every two weeks, it's not good for the hair.
Q: When you were in Toronto did you eat poutine? D: They used to bring it to the set quite a lot. We had it a couple of times in Toronto.  K: Coffee was very good too.
Q: What scene was the most difficult to film and why? D: To me is the scene in Jace's mind (three go in, three come out) because it was a very long day but I trusted Emeraude and Matt to do this and it was very emotionally draining.

Dominic at #DreamItAtHome
Q: How are you? What was your favourite scene in Shadowhunters?  D: I’m good, thank you very much. My favourite scene is not about Jace at all! when Simon had to tell his mom that Simon had died. I think that was beautifully written and so wonderfully acted.
Q: Do you have any new hobby now that we are in quarantine? D: I moved out, which was really hard work and I just got a bicycle so I’m riding a lot more than I was, and I started to learn Spanish but it turned out Spanish was really hard but I’m working on it. There’s such a  huge Latin culture in my new show so it would be really nice to communicate with a lot of my co-stars in their first language.
Q: How was the transition from a show like shadowhunters, supernatural, to a different show? D: What’s really interesting about that is that even in a supernatural show you have to see it from a very natural setting, otherwise you will see something is strange but it’s not like Jace sees it because that’s the world he lives in, in Penny Dreadful from the point of view of Kurt there’s nothing supernatural, he doesn’t know that magda is this supernatural force and she will become less a part of his life. The key thing is to treat it as if it is normal.
Q: Would you like to make a duet with Kellie Rose? D: No, I don’t think so. I think she’s an incredible singer and artist and I think that’s her thing. I’m an actor and I wouldn’t consider myself to be massively musical and that wouldn’t be something I’d put effort into.
Q: I have noticed that you have dealt with negativity, how do you handle that? D: The negativity I faced was due to me making mistakes, and a mistake that was across the border and unacceptable, due to language that I didn’t know the profundity of how offensive it was which is not an excuse in any way, cause I was a part of that world and I should have known, so a lot of that was based on that. I think that no matter how upset or offended or hurt you are by something, it’s never something I would do and I don’t think it’s something to support cause it doesn’t achieve anything. That being said, I had to rethink about who I was, cause if I was the cause of anyone’s pain or hurt, that’s not the person I want to be in any shape or form and I had to educate myself on things that I didn’t know but I should have known more profoundly. Moving on from this, being an actor, I think that one of the greatest thing about arts is that you get both sides of it, from people that like or don’t like what you do. So if people didn’t like my portrayal of Jace of the story... the negativity has to exist for the lights to exist as well. So I think, as hard as it is, that’s somebody’s opinion and that’s cool and I encourage to express their opinion but more importantly those opinions lead to something positive to balance, so that’s okay. I don’t take it fro granted and I love what I do, I work my ass off trying to make the best I possibly could and if that’s not good enough for some people then that’s really okay cause you’re supposed to have your opinion and it’s important.
Q: With all this quarantine stuff and social distancing, how you deal with it? D: Having Dan around helps. Social distancing has been tricky, not being able to see my friend but the big thing I found really hard is the inability to go home cause I’m not allowed to go back to the UK to see my family anymore and I would have seen them for a couple of weeks, but the fact that I physically can’t go is quite scary, things like zoom have been very helpful, me and my friends talk to each other and I play with my family once a week and that’s very helpful but I think the fact that we’re all in this together, the solidarity thing in the entire world, watching people getting through it... in America unfortunately too often people don’t seem to take it seriously as they should and the issue with that is that is selfish, if you go out to see your friends or family or whatever, you don’t only put yourself at risk but also your friends, their friends and their family. The important thing is to remember that all of us are doing this to protect each other, not necessarily to protect ourselves.
Q: When you played Jace in Shadowhunters, did you read all the books and if there were some scenes you wanted to do but you couldn’t because of the script? D: I read the first book and I didn’t go any further than that, it was intentional because it was really important for me to focus on the version of Jace we were doing cause otherwise through the book everyone get a different version of what that character is, what is important to me is that I understood the world, different type of downworlders and all of this things, but I didn’t wanna know for example, that valentine was my father and this stuff because if I knew that, that would have been a part of me reminding that while I was performing - reference to the stars wars iconic line ‘I’m your father’ and how it happened.

DOMINIC AT #DREAMITATHOME2 [PT. 1]
Q: Were you able to hang out with any of the cast from Penny Dreadful, who have you gotten to know, are any of them like Alberto or Matt? D: Yes, I’m pretty close to all of them, obviously I spend of my time with Thomas and Michael so I’m closest to them but I’m also relatively close to Daniel and Jonathan, we see each other at evensts and stuff.
Q: How was it moving out in the middle of quarantine and a global pandemic? D: It was annoying, moving out was a nightmare and I needed to move out because as you see Dan is 20 stone or something ridiculous now, he needed a yard and I didn’t have one, it was awful. The movers were terrible, they charged me too much money and didn’t do a very good job, they left a piece of my couch at my other place and they claimed it wasn’t so, it was a nightmare.
Q: If there was one thing you would change about yourself what would it be? / Are you still learning Spanish?  D: Nothing, I’m perfect. Maybe humility. I would like to be better at languages. / Yeah, mostly because of the show I’m on now that is a lot about Latin culture and a lot of actors I’m working on are native speakers so it’s important to me to learn as much as I could to communicate with them in their first language.
Q: What are your next goals? D: Season 2 of Penny Dreadful - that would be amazing - but we don’t know yet and I can’t  tell you because I don’t have any information. Then, career-wise,  I’d love to do maybe some films but it’s not something I’m on now since the industry is closed down so there’s anything to look for to. Personally, my happiness and health and of whose around me.
Q: Are there any projects you would like to try now? D: There are a few yeah, the problem with projects not officially released in the production stages I’m not allowed to talk about but there are a few yes, there is a film a I know there’s a tv show that is similar to Penny Dreadful which is a continue of a very successful pre-existing series and that’s definitely something I wanna be part of but unfortunately there’s nothing I can really say about it because there’s no information released to the public yet and I’m not a part of them yet.
Q: How have you been doing with CoVid-19? D: Well, I don’t have it so that’s a positive thing, the issue I have with it is that the person we all refer to for anything in relations to crisis, medicines and whatever, and his recommendations was not to open until it drops but that’s not what happened and as a result we have massive spikes now and LA is the worst it has been since it started. So to keep everyone safe I’ve just been staying at home and it’s a nice thing for me because I get to interact with people.
Q: Which type of character would you like to play? D: Probably either a James Bond obviously or I want a cowboy. Playing in 1938 was pretty cool because you get to play with different cars, costumes, accents and how people talk, interact with each other.
Q: About Penny Dreadful, you were supposed to play a German one, you had to talk in German too? D: That’s funny, someone said “could you not do a German accent” and they never asked me to do that, it was always American. I’ve always knew it would have been an American who joined the gestapo and that was sent back to America. In a possible season 2, I know he speaks German but he haven’t seem him yet.
Q: Who is your favourite James Bond actor? D: I think it’s a generation thing, I’m a big fan of Sean Connery but if you go back to some old  films they were quite misogynistic and now it’s not the case, and then I was raised with Pierce Brosnan and he was the first one I got to see and I’m a huge fan of Daniel Craig as well, so one of those three.
Q: How was learning to surf for Penny Dreadful? D: That was hard, I thought it was going to be really easy but it wasn’t and it’s really hard work. I did a few lessons on my own. It’s very important to me to understand those skills to understand my character. There were two issues. One: in the 30s sweatsuits didn’t exist yet so I was wearing the boxer shorts than they had in 30s, the second thing is that we filmed that in December so it was really cold. They had to move the day to a sunny one so that the water would be warm and it saved my life.
Q: Why did you become an actor? D: Honestly that’s all I wanted to do since I was a kid, like 5yo, performing and being in front of an audience in any shape or form and when I turned 18 and I left school I spent some time travelling the world and when I came back I joined this small agency and I got some commercial roles and bigger parts on my way up which lead me to tv films then I got a bigger agent which is still my agent now and it has been for 10 years now, I was one of the lucky people who knew from the young age what I wanted to do.
Q: How do you handle the constant rejection that comes from your job? D: You never know what they’re looking for and if you’re right for the role and then when you see it on screen you understand. It took me a really long time to get used to it but the only way is to think that there will be another job as good and as exciting because people are always gonna make film and tv. If you go into an audition and you know nothing about it, it’s fine. But if you get to the final two or five and you’re in the last round, that’s hard to take.
Q: Are there any movies from the past you would like to play in, with which actors? D: James Dean would be on the list for sure, I’d love to work with him. Elvis, Buster Keaton.
Q: What about a Dan and Dom show? D: No, cause he just takes all the attentions and nobody would watch me and that’s understandable.

DOMINIC AT #DREAMITATHOME2 [PT. 3]
Q: My question is.. first Alberto. Can you talk about Simon's character, all the relationships he has between Clary, Maia and Heidi. Also I wanted to ask about season 3 episode 10: how that was shoot and how the experience was since you were all on set. And that's the one with the highest ranking on IMDB. D: How high is the ranking? Q: 9.5. Never seen that before. D: What happened in that episode? Q: That's the last scene with Clary and Lilith, at the top of the building. A: The penthouse explodes and I... D: Yeah, I remember that now. L: You know why it has the highest ranking? 'Cause that's the first episode my arm appears. D: Just a arm comes out and grabs her (Clary) wrist and everyone was that's Luke Baines, TEN! TEN! A: That was actually shoot obviusly in pieces, so the downstairs part when you saw Isabelle, Luke and Alec fighting was shot in a building in downtown Toronto, and then the elevator and the penthouse were shot in a studio set, at the studio. And then... they had two different sets: the pre-blow penthouse and then after the explosion they has a completely different set of the rooftop. And then.. Simon's relationships with everyone... it was really cool to have to decide for Simon what each of those relationships meant. With Simon and Clary's relationship I remember my first conversation... I was like "I want Simon to look confortable, in what he's wearing and stuff... so that Clary always sees Simon as a safe haven", so that's why he was in jeans and t-shirts and sweatshirt, we always wanted to make it seems that he could take something off to give it to Clary. With Maia it's a different point of Simon's life. He's a vampire, it was more like a learning about himself and then Izzy is when he finally kind of accepts who he is and accept that he could become what he decides to become.
Q: Question for Dominic... did you and Matt (Daddario) talk about how you could play your Kurt in Penny Dreadful? D: No, not really. I think the key thing with relationships in general is that all they are is two people caring about each other, so as long as you can portray that, in an affecting way, then... you know, having to work on tips because it was unconfortable kissing a man it seems a little strange, like that's what Kurt feels, that's what Townsend, and that's what Alec feels and that's what Magnus feels. The only weird thing I had to go through is... about halfway through the first scene make up came over and I had like red on the top of my lip, because Michael has moustache and it gave me like a... rash. And it's something I've never experienced before. And that was the only weird challenge I had to get over. Michael was such an incredible performer. He's very generous and loving and caring. We sat down with each other about two months before even started filming, so we knew the sort of stuff we'd be going into, but it wasn't about the difficulty of the sexuality, it was more about the nudity and what we were confortable with doing 'cause we knew that that was gonna be a part of what we were going to do in the show. Talk about the tecnicalities of what we'd do when we were simulating sex.
Q: Create your own movie with the three of you, deciding title, synopsis and characters roles. A: I was like... The three amigos, I'm Steve martin. I mean, if you haven't seen Three amigos... it's a classic movie. D: Can I be the singing bush? A: I wanna be the one that "I'm still here, guapo!" D: By the way, I'm leaning spanish, ant it made it even funnier that they called him "el guapo" 'cause it means "the handsome" and that's f*cking brilliant! It is so funny! A: We're gonna make a movie, and it's the three of us.   L: The three of us go to Mexico, Dom's character gets arrested. D: I knew  it! I'm like an idiot. Like I've just crossed the border and I'm get arrested. L: It's like you and me... we need to get him back. I'm like the fighting guy that saves you. D: Like in real life. L: What's the name of it? A: "El guapo".
Q: If you had to become famous for a weird talent, what would it be? D: I can make my tongue do the worm. That's pretty weird. L: So what, you would become famous on youtube for that? D: Yeah, and people would see me on the streets and say "oh oh, do the thing!" L: The worm boy, cool. I think my weird talent is to point out people's grammar in text messages in really inopportune moments. Like, my friend had just broken up with his girlfriend and he was crying and texing me and I was pointing out that he was spelling things wrong. And he was like "are you f*cking kidding me? It's not the time!" and I was like "It't always the time". Alberto? A: I don't know... I'm looking around my house trying to think what would be my weird talent... D: You know a lot of famous quotes. You always have a quote for every situation. That's my favourite talent that you have. A: Oh, so that's where I'm going. Thank you man! D: By the way, ours are so stupid, I mean I do the tongue thing and you're the grammar nazi and he is like a beautiful human being and that's why he gets famous.
Q: They did a Mortal Instruments movie. Would you guys consider join the movie if the opportunity came up? A: Do we play the same characters? Q: Yes, you play the same characters. But Jace has to have a good time 'cause he had a crappy time in the series. D: He has a crappy time in the books as well so you should change his story and then he'd have a good time. Would I do the movie? Yeah, I mean... right now, having done the tv show, probably not, but if we were offered the movie at the beginning then yeah. But we've done this journey now, we've done it so well and I was so happy with what we did. I think doing it again would only make it worse. L: It would be funny if we'd do this again. A: I think that if we'd do that again I wanna have more say in the making of it. I want to be one of the creators or showrunners or directors. L: I just... because I'm not in the movie I want to be Clary. D: You'd be in the movie, eventually. it was supposed to be a series.
Q: If you could describe each other with a song, which song would it be? L: Dom is "Dude looks like a lady" A: I was thinking of that! D: So you're not appreciating the beard. Thirty years it took me to grow a beard this spectacular. I'm really happy with it. I'm using a cider beard balm right now. I smell delicious. I swear to God I am. L: I mean, my song is obviously "Chasing Highs". A: What's your other one? 'Cause we descovered Alma together, you went to the concert with Tessa *starts singing "Dye my hair"* D: Yours Alberto... Like "Runaraund Sue" the reminds me of you but just because you sing it often, not 'cause it's related to you anyhow.
Q: Do you watch each other shows and if you do what do you think about them? A: Well, I've seen Luke's movie "Under the Silver Lake" like six or seven times. With four separated groups of friends. Whenever a friend is like "we sould watch a movie" or "what movie should we watch?" I'm like "have you guys seen "Under the Silver Lake"? It's pretty great. So I say we do see each others shows. Im gonna binge watch Penny Dreadful." L: I watched the first two episodes of Penny Dreadful and I obviusly need to watch more so I can see Dom. D: Yeah, it's a crazy show. I still haven't seen "Under the Silver Lake" but I need to 'cause Alberto keeps talking about it. L: The movie is quite good. What is funny is that... I was shooting another movie when the audition came through and the scene was just the bathroom scene, I had about fifteen minutes to shoot that before I had to go to the set. And I literally didn't even read the script, I read the scene and I played it pretty much like I played it in the movie. And I gotten said that I was the only person who played the comedy in that scene and that was why they chose me.
Q: What in your life would you give up in a second if it could get you even to a better place that you are now? D: There's not much I'd give up, to be honest. I like everything in my life. A: Me too. L: I would give up coffee if everybody in the world has food. A: Yeah, I could make that deal. L: It would hurt me. And it would hurt every single person who came in contact with me. D: I could do that.

DOMINIC AT #DREAMITATHOME HOLIDAY EDITION [pt. 1]
First question was about who is the best at giving gifts. Alberto said that the only one that always gives him gifts is Katherine and said the coolest gifts received from her is the complete screenplay of "The Godfather".
The next question was for Matt and it was about the parabatai tracking scene and what it was like to film it. Matthew said that he started laughing as soon as he looked straight into Dom's eyes, because one of his eyes is “wrong”. He also thought that Dominic's life purpose was boiling down to Matt having to look him in the eye in that scene.
Irene then asked which book they'd open first if books were portals. Alberto said Harry Potter, because he wants to be a wizard. Matt said he'd go into a Harry Potter book and then he'd open up Moby Dick.
They then started critizicing Katherine's gingerbread house.
Next question was about who caused the most chaos on set and who behaved best. Alberto said they all know the answers to the question: Kat was the one who caused the most chaos and Dominic behaved best. Matt said he never caused problems and Dominic agreed saying he was boring.
The last question was about who is the hardest to buy gifts for. Matt said he thinks he's the easier one, because he accepts everything. Dominic said Kat is the tricky one because she wants everything.

DOMINIC AT #DREAMITATHOME HOLIDAY EDITION [pt. 2]
For the first question he said that he enjoyed spending the time in LA with his pets during quarantine even though he missed his family and friends.
The second question is about believing in ghosts and supernatural. He said he doesn’t really believe in that, even though once he stayed in a haunted house.
Next question is about what he misses about England. He said he misses his family, his friends, pubs, the attitude and not having deadly poisonous animal around.
If he could be any other person in the world for a few days he would be Hitler and get hit by a car. But if he had to do something funny, Robert Downey Jr. because he enjoyed his journey to who he is today.
They asked him if he has new projects but he can’t say anything about it.
The next question is about what he is the most proud of accomplishing this year. He said that he made some improvements to himself and that he’s proud of it.
In 2021 he looks forward the CoVid-19 vaccine and being able to travel and leave LA for a little bit.
His favourite cast mate to travel would be either Matt or Alberto, he travelled with both and he can’t pick between them.
If he could be in any tv show he would be in “Taxi” with Danny De Vito, the original one.
If he could direct any movie based on a book it would be on “Letters from Alcatraz” which he read some years ago.
He said Dan really loves when he’s home and he’s worried about what will happen when he will go back to work.
The country he’d really like to visit would be in Southern Asia because he really likes those places. When it’s safe to do so, obviously.
If he could be anything else in Shadowhunters he would be a demon because they have the best powers and abilities. So maybe Jonathan.
His path to learning Spanish isn’t going well but he’ll continue learning and he hopes he’ll do some progresses.
It’s hardest scene in Shadowhunters is the one in Jace’s mind because emotional scenes are the most draining ones and if he could be a superhero he would be Superman or if British approves, he could also be Captain America.
One of his favourite things they did on Shadowhunters is showing that men can also be emotional, in the parabatai scene for example.
For the last question he had to choose between being a lead role or working as a supporting role with his favourite actors/actresses. He said it depends. He was a lead in Shadowhunters, but he accepted Penny Dreadful because he had the possibility to work with big names.
