Reservoir Management Market: Forthcoming Trends and Share Analysis by 2030
Global Reservoir Management Market size is expected to grow from USD 3.07 Billion in 2023 to USD 4.82 Billion by 2032, at a CAGR of 5.13% during the forecast period (2024-2032).
Using cutting-edge techniques like enhanced oil recovery and reservoir simulation, reservoir management is a methodical approach to the sustainable optimization and utilization of subsurface reservoirs containing hydrocarbons or water resources. It integrates geological, engineering, and economic principles to maximize recovery while minimizing environmental impact.
Monitoring and managing the water resources inside a reservoir is known as reservoir management. It includes tasks like controlling water levels, managing water inflow and outflow, and supervising inputs from rainfall or other sources. Improving reservoir use for a range of uses, such as irrigation, flood control, hydroelectric power generation, and municipal water supply, is the main goal of reservoir management.
In many different industries, reservoirs are crucial since they are part of the process of producing hydroelectric power and help with irrigation in agriculture to promote crop growth. As the main sources of water for municipal systems, these reservoirs provide a steady and dependable supply of water for residential, commercial, and industrial uses. Furthermore, they play a major role in mitigating floods by efficiently controlling the flow of water during periods of intense precipitation. In addition, reservoirs provide recreational areas in addition to their practical uses, which draw tourists by offering chances for leisure time activities. Setting appropriate reservoir management as a top priority includes protecting ecosystems, which benefits biodiversity and aquatic life. Additionally, by providing water for various manufacturing and operating needs, these reservoirs meet industrial demands.

Activated Carbon Market Trends 2023-2033
Research Nester published a report titled “Activated Carbon Market: Global Demand Analysis & Opportunity Outlook 2033” which delivers detailed overview of the global activated carbon market in terms of market segmentation by raw material, type, application, end-user, and by region.
Further, for the in-depth analysis, the report encompasses the industry growth indicators, restraints, supply and demand risk, along with detailed discussion on current and future market trends that are associated with the growth of the market.
The global activated carbon market is anticipated to grow with a CAGR of ~9.2% over the forecast period, i.e., 2023-2033. The market is segmented by raw material into coal, coconut shell, wood based. Among these segments, the coa based segment is anticipated to garner the largest revenue by the end of 2033 on the back of rising portable drinking water demand and high impurities absorption capacity of carbon due to more surface area with microspores and mesopores.
The global activated carbon market is estimated to garner a revenue of ~USD 9.5 billion by the end of 2033, up from a revenue of ~USD 4 billion in the year 2022. Increasing need for the removal of pollutants from the environment to reduce pollution across the world. The rising mercury, water, and air pollution are some of the major factors expected to boost market growth.
Geographically, the global specialty carbon black market is segmented into five major regions including North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Middle East & Africa. Out of these regions, the market in Asia Pacific region is estimated to hold the largest market owing to increasing demand for automobile vehicles. The annual total domestic sale of vehicles according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics in 2021 was 11,831 thousand units.
The research is global in nature and covers detailed analysis on the market in North America (U.S., Canada), Europe (U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Belgium, Netherlands & Luxembourg, NORDIC [Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark], Poland, Turkey, Russia, Rest of Europe), Latin America (Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Rest of Latin America), Asia-Pacific (China, India, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Rest of Asia-Pacific), Middle East and Africa (Israel, GCC [Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman], North Africa, South Africa, Rest of Middle East and Africa). In addition, analysis comprising market size, Y-O-Y growth & opportunity analysis, market players’ competitive study, investment opportunities, demand for future outlook etc. has also been covered and displayed in the research report.
Rising Air Pollution to Drive the Market Growth
Air pollution from indoor and outdoor sources is attributed to elevating risk factors for many diseases. Air pollution is one of the serious environmental breaches and health issues across the world. Rapid industrialization and growing automotive sectors are estimated to fuel the growth of the market during the forecast period. On account of air pollution, more than premature deaths took place in China in 2010, as per the estimations.
However, the availability of other substitutes and the rise of COVID-19 are expected to operate as key restraints to the growth of global activated carbon market over the forecast period.

Following Israel's signing of peace accords with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, we are beginning to see the countless benefits to be derived from peaceful co-existence. Watergen, a multi-award winning Israeli company is in negotiations to provide its ground-breaking technology to a number of Middle Eastern countries, technology that literally produces fresh drinking water from thin air (by drawing on its humidity), with their largest commercial machine capable of supplying up to 5,000 litres a day. In a part of the world where access to water is a constant challenge, this, together with Israel's advances in desalination, will make a world of difference.

Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I had a pretty good day … but it’s night now here in Florida and I am starting to hurt pretty badly…. I think I over did it today.
I noticed that I haven’t done any Monthly Beauty Favorites so I thought I’d start a new series for this blog… hope you like it.
Before we start I just wanted to shade with you what I made for dinner tonight! I am so proud of myself. I’ve never made Salmon on my own… I always just order it from a restaurant… but with the national quarantine and all the sit down restaurants being closed I’ve had to step out of my  comfort zone and teach myself to cook things I normally would order out! so …. here it is …
Tumblr media
Honey lemon Salmon and garlic butter and corn white rice. This dish was so sublime that I don’t think I’ll ever order Salmon when we go out to eat again!
Not all categories will have a high end and drugstore entry. Please Note that I am not sponsored by or affiliated with any of the products or companies that I mention in this blog post. * Warning this will be a long post … just grab a snack, something to drink and settle in … I promise you wont be sorry for reading this post….. Well … Without further ado …let’s get into my April 2020 Beauty Favorites.
Favorite Beauty Store:
Tumblr media
Beautylish has got to be my all time favorite place to shop for all things beauty!!
I’ve been shopping at Beautylish for well over 5 years. Their customer service is of the highest quality. Their shipping rate is a flat rate of $5 on all orders (in the US it’s $5 on all orders under $35 anything above $35 is free shipping). The only downside is that they are unable to ship to P.O. boxes. They offer flex payments on orders of $100 or more where you pay a down payment and then they spread the rest of the bill over  3 to 4 payments depending how much the bill comes to. The down payment amount also depends on the amount spent… For example: I just placed an order for $102. I paid $37 as the down payment and the rest was split into 3 equal payments to be due on the 1st of each month. The due date depends on the date of purchase. I tend to pay my flex payments off faster than the allotted time, but it’s great to know I have the 3 months just in case I need them. Beautylish also ships international the the following countries: Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium,Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE, U.K., and U.S. Beautylish carries the following brands:

I truly love to shop with them because the take time to package my purchases with care, it never takes more than a week to get my packages (except for now, it’s taking about 2-3 weeks because of the Corona Virus), and they have a great return policy: Their website states that their return policy is: If you are less than completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your order within 60 days (from the delivery date) for a refund. We regret that we are unable to cover return shipping costs or refund the original shipping and duties charges unless the return was due to our error. Products must be returned in new or gently used condition. If your product arrived either damaged or defective, please contact us right away. Sets/bundles are sold as-is and products cannot be substituted, customized, and/or returned individually.
I’ve never had any issues with their services, in fact there was 1 time around 3 years ago that I ordered something from the brand It Cosmetics and the wrong item was delivered to me, I contact them straight away and they sent me out the product I had originally ordered that same day and as a way to apologize for the mistake they even allowed me to keep the product that I had received in error.
  Favorite Amazon Beauty Finds:
Tumblr media
Pixnor 5″3″ Stainless Steel Makeup Palette with Spatula Tool $6.99 on Amazon: I am so happy I purchased this!!  I use to apply foundation to the back of my hand and then bonce my sponge off my hand … what I found is that this would cause waste of product because some of the foundation would sink into my skin and I would have to use more foundation… now I just apply a few pumps onto the palette and there is zero waste. I also love the spatula because I can use it to scrape moisturizers out of the jar without having to use my fingers. I also use the spatula to mix dew drops into my foundation and now I don’t have a big mess on my hands.
Tumblr media
Segbeauty 5.4oz/160ml Continuous Spray Plastic Squirt Bottle With A Fine Mist $14.99 on Amazon: This bottle is a curly hair girls dream!! It provides just the right amount of moisture without over-wetting your hair. It has a 360 degree sprayer and it’s perfect for re-wetting hair in the morning to restyle and freshen up curls. This bottle has changed my hair game for the better.
Tumblr media
Every Drop Beauty Spatula $5.89 on Amazon. I’ve always hated the thought that there was still product in the bottom and sides of my products after I’ve run out. I started cutting plastic tubes open to get every last drop on product out but with bottles you just can’t do that. I came across this little baby when I was just browsing the beauty tools section of Amazon one day and thought OH! PERFECT!!! This spatula gets all the way to the bottom, the sides, and even the shoulders of bottles! I now have zero waste with my beauty products. I love this item so much that I have ordered it’s baby sister product the Every Drop Lip Spatula for $5.49 I ordered 2 one for lipsticks and lip glosses and one for concealers and other small wand items. This has truly helped me not waste my money by allowing me to get every last drop of product out of their containers.
Favorite Makeup Tool:
Face Halo Makeup Remover Pads: $17.60 for a 3 pack on Amazon. This little puppy is the perfect accompaniment to my vastly growing Eco-friendly arsenal. I find that I do not use as much of my Bioderma now because I am not using it to take off my makeup before I use it as my first cleanse…. 1 round is enough to completely remove all of my makeup from my face, neck, and ear lobes! You just soak it with warm water and remove your makeup… and it does remove 100% of my makeup, including lash glue! I just simply wash it after every use and it dries quickly too. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a way to reduce your carbon foot print on the planet!
Favorite Makeover Product:
Tumblr media
Schwarzkopf Keratin Permanent Hair Color Cream in the shade 4.6 Intense Cocoa $9.97 on Amazon (but Amazon only allows you to purchase 1 so I ordered 3 more from Walgreens.com buy 2 get 1 free for the same price). This was the first time I used this product and I’ve gotta tell ya … This has got to be the BEST boxed hair color on the market. It has Anti-Breakage Technology called K·BOND-PLEX technology (that repairs inner hair structure) and a Pre-Color Serum (that leaves your hair looking healthy and strong, with less hair breakage). It also doesn’t have that harsh hair dye smell to it. In fact my hair smelled so good that it was like I had just simply washed my hair. The conditioner it comes with left my hair so smooth and soft and fluffy. I believe they use the same technology as Olaplex does because my hair felt as if I had just done an Olaplex treatment to it. This will definitely be a product I repurchase again and again.
Favorite Candle:
Tumblr media
Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel 3 Wick Candle: This sadly is my last Vanilla Bean Noel candle… I purchase this scent every year at Christmas time … I stock up when they have their holiday sale and typically purchase 20 of them… it’s just the best scent ever
Favorite Body Care Item:
Tumblr media
Nivea Essentially Enriched Body Lotion with Almond Oil $5 at Walmart for 16.9 Fluid Ounces: I use to use Bath and Body Works body creams but with my Fibromyalgia I tend to get very sensitive itchy skin and have noticed that the Bath and Body Works creams would aggravate my already sensitive skin … So on a whim I picked this up a few months ago. Firstly a little of this goes a long way. It’s very creamy and very hydrating and has a soft Almond scent to it. It sinks in quickly and doesn’t leave me body feeling greasy. I’m pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this product is.
Favorite Hair Care Item:
Tumblr media
Olaplex No 6 Bond Smoother $28 for 3.3 fluid ounces at Sephora and No 7 Bonding Oil $28 for 1 fluid ounces at Sephora: These two products work together you add a few drops of the oil into the smoother and mix it together. I use this once about ever few days to revive my curls… since I don’t wash my hair everyday I need something to help my curls revive. I typically only wash my hair 1 time a week since I don’t put any hair products into my hair. This not only smells amazing, it leaves my hair soft and replenished and defines my curls when they start to go a bit frizzy. A little bit goes along way I only use a quarter sized amount of the smoother and about 5 drops of the oil. This is another item that has seriously upped my curly girl hair game.
Favorite Movie : (I know this isn’t beauty related, but I take my movie time to do my spa treatments … so I included it as a favorite.)
Tumblr media
Synopsis: When Cecilia’s abusive ex takes his own life and leaves her his fortune, she suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of coincidences turn lethal, Cecilia works to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see. This was a very well thought out movie with lots of twists and turns. Highly Recomend.
Favorite Spa Day Item:
Tumblr media
Revolution Skincare x Jake-Jamie Avocado Face Mask $11 for 1.6 ounces at Ulta: This mask is amazingly moisturizing. I use it once a week and my skin feels heavenly afterwards.
Favorite Skincare Item:
I tried a ton of skincare in the month of April and there were several things that I loved but I would have to say that my all time favorite item(s) are as follows:
My 2 whole face (including eyes) serum routine: #1. Good Molecules Super Peptide Serum $12 for 1 fluid ounce through Beautylish (it’s also sold on the Good Molecules website) and it’s function is to target fine lines, wrinkles, and dullness. #2. Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum $6 for 1 fluid ounce through Beautylish (it’s also sold on the Good Molecules website) and it’s function is to replenish your skin’s moisture by drawing moisture into the skin for deep hydration.  My skin has never looks this good since I was in my teens. Both these serums are light weight and sink into the skin quickly and you only need 1/2 a dropper for your full face and neck … I also use whatever is left on my hands to rub into my hands as sort of a treat for my hands.
Tumblr media
La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra Light Face Sunscreen Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 60: $29.99 for 1.7 fluid ounces and I purchase mine through Amazon. Ever since I starting using this sunscreen I have decluttered all other facial sunscreens. This is the perfect consistency for me. It’s light weight and hydrating. It sinks into the skin amazingly fast. It doesn’t interfere with my makeup application and it doesn’t have that sunscreen scent. BONUS: It’s a 60+ sunscreen which is the ideal level of protection for the face.
  Favorite Face Primer:
Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer $39 for .5 ounces at Ulta and Sephora: I typically switch up my face primers every day or two but the one that I use everyday is this one. It just fills in my pores so well that I reach for it time and time again over all of my pore primers.
Favorite High End Foundation:
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation $44 for 1 fluid ounce through Beautylish (but can also be purchased through Sephora and the Charlotte Tilbury website). As I said in my haul of this item this is such a beautiful foundation. I just can’t stop looking at my face anytime I’m wearing it. This full coverage foundation leaves my skin looking youthful and flawless. It plays well with dew drops mixed in and plays well with any primer. I will always have this foundation in my collections.
Favorite Drug Store Foundation:
Tumblr media
Believe Beauty Skin Finish Foundation: $5 for .85 fluid ounces only at Dollar General Stores. This foundation surprised me I truly didn’t believe that this was going to be a good foundation, however it is a FANTASTIC foundation and is  is a medium to full coverage. This is a semi-dewy foundation. What I mean is it’s just dewy enough to give you that youthful look without being to extreme. It lasts all day and doesn’t break down. I hope they never stop making this foundation!
Favorite High End BB/CC/Tinted Moisturizer:
Tumblr media
Tarte Maracuja Tinted Moisturizer $29 for 1 fluid ounce of product at Ulta. This is a super dewy product but not in a greasy sort of way. It’s light coverage and sets with powder nicely. This is such a beautiful product.. so much so that I purchased a back up just in case they pull it off the shelves. I find that it’s best to apply this one with your fingers since it’s such light coverage that using a sponge with soak it all up and using a brush will leave it looking streaky.
Favorite Concealer:
NYX Born to Glow Radiant Concealer $9 for .14 fluid ounces at Ulta. This is such a beautiful concealer! It doesn’t settle into my fine lines as long as I set it straight away upon application. It doesn’t crack throughout the day. A little tiny bit is all you need. It’s full coverage without being super thick. It gives an amazing glow to the under eye that can still be seen even after you set it with powder. I’d probably go out on a limb and say this may be my favorite concealer all year.
Favorite Cream Bronzer/Contour: I wont be having 2 categories for this one… mainly because I don’t have a drug store option for this category as of yet, I have since purchased a drug store option today.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand in the shade 2 Medium/Dark $38 for .41 fluid ounces purchased through Beautylish (but can be purchased at Sephora and the Charlotte Tilbury website). I can’t believe I am saying that this is my favorite!! I have loved the Chanel Soleil De Chanel cream bronzer for so long that I didn’t think anything would ever replace it! Sad to say the Chanel bronzer was discontinued and a new cream bronzer replaced it … it looks more hydrating than the one I have so I’m keen to try it however … let’s talk Hollywood Contour Wand shall we!? This is the first cream contour product I’ve ever tried (bronze to me didn’t seem as scary as cream contour did). It is easy to use, easy to blend in, and gives the skin a natural looking contour. This is a light weight very pigmented product. You don’t get much product for the price tag, however a very little goes a very long way. I use 1 squeeze ever 2 days (it’s a sponge tipped applicator so the product stays in the sponge… I just squeeze 1 time and have enough product left over on the sponge that the next day I just have to dot what remains over the perimeter of my face. Unlike the Chanel bronzer this product doesn’t disrupt my foundation underneath. I love this product so much that I place an order today for a back up.
Favorite Matte Bronzer/Contour:
Mac Bronzing Powder in the shade matte bronze: $30 for .35 ounces of product. I’ve had this compact for probably way too long because it’s starting to get hard pan, so I scraped the hard pan off … the powder works fine. The picture of the hand on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash. It’s just the perfect everyday natural looking bronzer. You can’t over do it with this bronzer since it’s so light of coverage. I always love my look when I’m wearing this one.
Favorite Glowy Bronzer :
Tarte Limited Edition Park Ave Princess Waterproof Face & Body Bronzer $34 for .55 ounces of product at Ulta. I do love a good glowy bronzer and this one does not disappoint! It’s the perfect shade, has just the right amount of glow without having shimmer to it … it’s just this glow from within! I just love how my skin looks with this bronzer on.
Favorite Dewy Primer:
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter in the shade #3 Light/Medium $44 for 1.01 fluid ounces on the Beautylish website (can also be purchased from Sephora or the Charlotte Tilbury website). Ever since getting this product in I have not been able to put it down! It’s freaking amazing!!! AMAZING! It has just enough of a tint that this could be worn alone for “No Makeup” makeup days and has the perfect amount of glow without having any shimmer to it. 1 swipe per zone is all you need of this primer. It’s not sticky or greasy and it does hold foundation nicely.
Favorite Cream Highlighter:
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Light Wand $39 for .41 fluid ounces on the Beautylish website (can also be purchased from Sephora or the Charlotte Tilbury website). I have tried many cream highlighters and hate every single one, until this one came into my life! This highlighter is just magical! It doesn’t disrupt the foundation under neither, it melts into the skin seamlessly, and it has no glitter to it… just a natrual looking glow. The glow can still be seen even after setting it with powder! I haven’t been able to stop using it because I’m so in love with it.
Favorite High End Face Powder:
Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder in the shade Translucent $33 for .53 ounces of product at Ulta and Sephora. This powder has the most beautiful finish ever! It give a slight glow to the skin without looking like glitter or shimmer. This one has taken the place of my beloved Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder in my heart. I just never want to be without it!!! It doesn’t take much of this powder to set the full face either. I tap 3 shakes into the cap and that sets my full face! It even looks amazing under the eyes.
Favorite Drug Store Face Powder:
Tumblr media
Believe Beauty Matte Blur Loose Powder in the shade Translucent $5 for .14 ounces of product sold only at Dollar General. This is such a light weight powder that sets the face flawlessly. It is matte but doesn’t leave the face looking cakey or dry. It even looks good under the eyes. I have repurchased this 2 time since discovering it and I have 2 back ups.
Favorite High End Finishing and Touch Up Setting Powder:
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder $45 for .28 ounces of product on the Beautylish website (can also be purchased at Sephora and on the Charlotte Tilbury website). This gives the prettiest soft focus to the face and doesn’t change the look of your makeup when you touch up with it. I find on days that I wear this one as a finishing powder I don’t have to touch up at all. I don’t quiet like this one as a setting powder, just as a finishing powder and touch up powder and sad to say I have hit pan … this is the most expensive pressed powder I own but it’s so worth it and I will definitely be repurchasing it when I’ve finished it.
Favorite Drug Store Finishing and Touch Up Setting Powder:
JCat Beauty AquaSurance Compact Foundation $13.99 for .31 ounces of product at Ulta. This is a spot on dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder. It’s basically a fuller coverage version and I can use it to set my set as well and I never have to touch up at all when I use this powder.
Favorite Powder Highlighter:
Benefit Boxed Highlighter in the shade Cookie $30 for .28 ounces of product at Ulta and Sephora. OH BABY! This highlighter is so pretty and little is all you need. This is a beaming highlighter so definitely not for low maintenance makeup day but add this to your full glam look and watch out…. it’s the perfect highlighter to be noticed in.
Favorite Blush:
Tarte 12-HR Amazonian Clay Blush in the shade Captivating $29 for .2 ounce of product at Ulta and Sephora. This is the best just pinched shade I’ve ever owned. I wore it a ton in April and for good reason. It goes with everything from “No Makeup” makeup looks to full on glam looks. It lasts all day and is probably my all time favorite blush shade.
Favorite Lip Combo:
L’Oreal Rouge Signature Lightweight Matte Lip Stain ($5.99 at Ulta) in the shade 448 I-Tease (a soft taupey pink matte) a few dots of Makeup Geek Creme Stain ($11.99 on their website) in the shade Jitterbug (an intense coral matte) a touch of NARS Lip Gloss ($24 on the NARS website) in the shade Stripe Tease  (Sheer champagne nude). This makes the perfect shade for every look. I’ve worn this only for the past few days of April but I can already tell it will be worn a ton in the month of May.
Favorite Powder to Set My Under Eyes:
Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder $28 for .14 ounces of product at Ulta and Sephora. This just leaves the under eyes looking flawless and it sets every concealer I own except the Dermablend concealer (that concealer is just too heavy and took emollient that nothing really sets it and I would return it but I lost the uni-carton it came in so Ulta wont take it back). I wish this came in a larger jar because I just know I will be repurchasing this over and over. It gives this soft focus glow to the under eye area that isn’t shimmery or glittery … just a sort of glow from within look.
Favorite Brow Pencil:
Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil $24 at Ulta and Sephora for .27 ounces of product. I have purchased this pencil 2 time since discovering it and I have 1 back up. This is just the most effortless brow product ever. I almost never have a bad brow day when I use this pencil. It’s a definite recommend in my book.
Favorite Brow Gel:
Tumblr media
Believe Beauty Eyebrow Styling Gel $4 for .2 ounces of product sold only at Dollar General. Even though it’s only got .2 ounces of product this brow gel lasts a long time. You only need 1 pass of the wand to fully set your brow. It is never crunchy and never goes flaky. The picture is of my back ups … this sucker goes fast at the store so I pick up 2 or 3 every time I go to Dollar General so I never run out. I adore this one so much that I never reach for my other brow gels.
Favorite High End Eye Shadow Palette:
Tumblr media
Too Faced Born This Way The Natural Nudes Eyeshadow Palette $45. It has 8 matte shades and 8 shimmer shades and you get .48 total ounces of product and is sold at Ulta and Sephora. Some of my all time favorite looks this past month have come from this palette! I just adore it so much. Too Faced really hit it out of the park with this one.
Favorite Drug Store Eye Shadow Palette: (I have 3, 1 is a bit more pricier, 1 is mid-ranged and the other is super inexpensive)
Tumblr media
ColourPop Bare Necessities 30 Pan Eyeshadow Palette $34 on the ColourPop website. I have created so many beautiful neutral eye looks with this palette! With 30 shades I never get bored of this one.
Tumblr media
Believe Beauty Eyeshadow Palette  in the color story: Nearly Nude $5 only sold at Dollar General. It’s just simple an amazing palette. I was highly impressed with this one. I got a few looks out of it and it’s the perfect size for travel.
Tumblr media
Catrice Basic Bae Eyeshadow Palette $14.99 at Ulta. This was the first thing I ever tried from Catrice and I was super impressed! The shadows are super pigmented and blend like a dream.
Favorite Eye Liner:
Charlotte Tilbury The Classic Powder Eye Pencil in the shade Audrey $22 on the Beautylish website (but can also be purchased at Sephora and on the Charlotte Tilbury website). Now this one was a surprise to me. I hated this pencil when I first tried it…. I could never get it to work… Well I finally figured it out and I am in love. It gives such a effortless look to the eyes when I use it. This will be a repurchase when I run out.
Favorite Mascara:
Tumblr media
Milani Dangerous Lengths 3D Mascara regularly $9.99 nut currently on sale for $7.49 at Ulta. This is another item that surprised me but ever since I’ve been conditioning my lashes with the Jamaican Black Castor Oil my lashes have been looking so nice and combined with the mascara I just fell in love…. I can’t believe I have a favorite mascara and it’s, for the first time in years, not the L’Oreal voluminous Carbon Black!!! This just gives a nice fluffy airy look to the lashes.
Favorite Inner Corner Highlight:
Hikari Creme Pigment in the shade Honey Dew $15 on their website. I have been using this for a few years now but I just can’t seem to stay away. It just give the prettiest lilt to the inner corners.
Favorite Setting Spray: (I have 2 this month)
Tumblr media
ColourPop Hyaluronic Acid Setting Mist $12 for 3.72 fluid ounces of product at Ulta and on the ColourPop website. This setting spray smells like the beach and leaves the skin looking dewy and healthy. It holds your makeup fairly well … I don’t really need a setting spray that will hold my makeup on until the wee hours of the morning, I just need a spray that will take down the powderiness of freshly applied makeup.  I’ve been using this bottle for 2 months and I’m almost out of it. This makes me sad because it’s sold out everywhere. I think this may just be my favorite setting spray of the year.
Tumblr media
Belif Aqua Bomb Mist $34 for 2 2.02 fluid ounces of product on the Beautylish website (but can also be purchased at Ulta and Sephora). This one adds tons of hydration to the skin and I love it as a touch up spray too. Lately I have been using it in combination with the other setting spray just to add a bit more hydration to my under eye area.
Favorite Find of the Year So Far:
Tumblr media
HonHey Portable Hand Held Rechargeable Fan. $13 on Amazon. I purchased this back in the beginning of March but it has quickly become my favorite beauty extra! It helps me dry my setting spray and lash glue. It also helps keep me cooler when the hot lights of my makeup table start to make me over heat. It has a great charge life as well.
Well … We have reached the end dolls. Thank you ever so much for hanging in there with this post …. I know it was a long one … but this is the flagship post of this series and I thought I should be as thorough as possible with at least the first in the series… Now that’s not to say I wont have heaps of favorites in any given month, but I may just have a few favorites in other months too.
Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that your spirits are high and your health is good! Remember dolls, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
April 2020 Beauty Favorites Hey doll hey!!! How's your day/night going? Great I hope. I had a pretty good day ...

Not Broken, Just Bent
Post 5x06. Title inspired by “Just Give Me A Reason” by P!nk
As a trainee in S.H.I.E.L.D. academy, Melinda May had wanted to experience it all. From complicated infiltration missions (but not undercover, ugh) to traveling to exotic locales, she’d had a fairly long bucket list.
It was safe to say she’d fulfilled that…and then some.
First there was surviving the whole Hydra thing, and then helping to rebuild S.H.I.E.L.D. And then came Inhumans (and who could forget about Andrew, of course). Of course, who could forget about being infected by a ghost, dying and being brought to life, being replaced by a murderous LMD and oh yeah, finding herself trapped in a simulation straight from hell? That didn’t even include time travel.
And her current predicament—hiding on a deserted and glorified rock, hours away from bleeding out, and hunted by giant roaches.
So yes, if she ever made it out alive, and it was looking less and less unlikely, May swore she would take a long, long vacation (alone this time, although a little company from her best friend/maybe something more wouldn’t hurt) and do nothing but lie on a beach, drink in hand.
But that depended on whether or not she survived.
For the millionth time since the monolith had sent her straight into that damn pipe, May cursed under her breath as she dragged her bad leg behind her, her right leg strained from leaning all of her weight onto it. She could hear growls in the air—the roaches were not far behind by the sound of it, and for every limping step she took the faster they were gaining on her.
Goddamnit.
And then she was running, well technically limping, her left leg screaming at her to stop, her right leg groaning with exhaustion, the shallow yet still bleeding cut in her side throbbing as she dragged her body as rapidly as she could, away from the roaches. Her hair whipped across her face in sweaty chunks, and she dug her nails into her palms.
Suddenly May’s leg twisted, and she found herself airborne for a brief moment, before the ground started to rise up around her. She landed on her back, all the air completely gone from her lungs as she struggled to comprehend what had just happened. It took her a full four, long, tension filled seconds to realize she’d tripped. Like a clumsy, S.H.I.E.L.D. trainee during her first try in a training course. Idiot.
 Get up, go, move!
May instinctively sat up, and instantly regretted it—her side screamed, no, cried mercy, the searing pain second only to the incessant throbbing of her leg that she’d almost grown accustomed to. It felt oddly wet and kind of sticky. From sweat, maybe? She gingerly reached out to touch the cut at her side and brought her hand up to her face. The air was dark around her, but unless her eyes were fooling her, her hand had come back smeared with blood.
Great. She’d thought all along that her leg would’ve been the one to kill her, but it turned out it would be that damn cut from that damn telepath.
A sharp, piercing growl caused her to jump, and May curled her right leg under her, trying to put her weight on it, gritting her teeth, trying in vain to stand up, to run, to survive. But the second she did it buckled and she fell back down again.
Her vision swam before her, the dark landscape not helping as her eyes watered and stung. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a gigantic mass approaching. The roaches. She had to get up. Now. Yet her legs refused to obey. Her limbs seemed to grow heavier too, and the ground started to feel less and less like a hard wasteland and more like her comfy mattress back in the now destroyed base.
It was growing darker—May realized a few seconds too late that no, the landscape wasn’t changing color. She was losing consciousness.
No.
In the back of her mind, she knew what that meant. She’d lost.
No. I don’t lose. I never lose.
But the darkness was so irresistible, almost soothing, inexplicably reminding her of a bowl of Phil’s chicken noodle soup, the special one he made from scratch the handful of times she’d been sick.
As she surrendered, her head slipping to one side, her eyes closing, she thought she saw a human shaped figure in the distance shooting something at the roaches, making them disintegrate upon contact. The figure approached rapidly, and in the dim light May could see he had blue skin. Oh, God, it was one of the Kree.
His face looked oddly familiar, and reminded her of…the diner?
But then the darkness took its hold, and she saw nothing more.
She wasn’t moving.
That was the first thing Phil registered as he stumbled his away into the makeshift shelter Enoch had constructed out of a pile of larger and smaller rocks. Enoch had removed her jacket, using it instead as a pillow, and was busy creating a bandage out of what appeared to be a pile of dried leaves.
Enoch barely glanced up. “I see you managed to follow the path I left.”
“Yeah, thanks for that.” Just the sight of his infuriatingly calm face made Phil want to use his robotic hand (newly re-implemented, thanks to Fitz’s planning ahead), and punch him so hard he’d bounce off the Lighthouse. If it hadn’t been for him the group would’ve still happily (or somewhat, given the circumstances they’d left behind back home) lived in their time, rebuilding S.H.I.E.L.D. or whatever. But a larger part of him was just purely grateful for Enoch’s help. Without him Fitz would’ve never made it here.
 “And the others are?”
“Daisy, Mack and YoYo are scouting the area. Fitzsimmons stayed behind in the trawler with Flint. How is she?” Phil nodded her head towards May. Her face was flushed and tense as she slept, but she still looked more peaceful than he’d seen in a long time.
“She’s running a fever.” Enoch answered simply. “Her leg has been infected.”
“I kind of figured.” Phil made his way fully into the little shelter and crouched down. Her touched Melinda’s hand softly, and winced at the contact. “Wow. She’s really burning up.”
“Did you bring the supplies?”
In response, he pulled out a syringe out of his jacket’s inner pocket. Inside the crate of weapons Fitz had thought to include a basic version of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s first aid kit, complete with a few simple yet highly effective medications that would cure or at least help soothe many ailments.
Phil handed them to Enoch, who inserted the needle into Melinda’s arm. Her expression did not change, although she stirred a little. Seemingly satisfied, Enoch stood up. “I believe that will help a bit with the infection, although only time and rest will help her leg heal.”
Of course it required rest, the one luxury they could not afford. He looked down at her sleeping form. Still, maybe a few short hours would do her some good. “I know our plan was to make it back to the trawler so we could get the hell out of here, but I think it would be better to stay here until she wakes up.”
“Agreed.” Enoch said. “I trust you can stay while I go keep watch?”
Seeing as he had zero intention to face those roaches and leave Melinda’s side (ever again), Phil nodded. He took Enoch’s place on the hard rock, and slipped his hand into hers as the alien drew his weapon and walked out.
“When you told me you had it, that you could handle Sinara, I don’t think this is what either of us had in mind.” He joked softly. “I could’ve stayed behind, you know. I know I’m not as good as you. But I could’ve helped.
“You didn’t need to face her alone, May.” He continued. “You could’ve died. Hell, you did die last year. You don’t need to take risks like that. That’s why we’re a team. Especially here…I don’t know what I would’ve done if I’d lost you. You know, for a second I actually thought…”
Phil paused. In his head he could almost hear May berating him, calling him a dork and a sap, rolling her eyes at the notion that she’d actually lose a fight.
“Laugh all you want.” He said. “But there was a moment, when you didn’t come back, I thought you were gone.” Phil shook his head. “This is my fault. I should’ve stayed with you. And I know what you’re going to say, that I wasn’t the one who caused you to materialize into that pipe. But I shouldn’t have left you there, not when I knew you couldn’t handle it.”
Melinda’s brow furrowed, soft whimpers escaping, though she stayed asleep. Her hand tightened around Phil’s, and her chest rose and fell rapidly as she experienced whatever terror was playing out behind her eyelids.
“It’s okay. I’m right here.” He said. “I’m not going anywhere.” Using his thumb, he gently rubbed circles around her hand. “I’m not leaving you, Melinda. Not ever again.”
Gradually, her whimpers quieted, and her expression became calm once more as her breathing evened out. Although it wasn’t exactly cold in this dank, dirty atmosphere, her body seemed to be wracked by subtle shivers, and Phil immediately shed his jacket and used it to cover her chest and shoulders.
“I don’t know how much of this you can hear.” He said softly. “Probably not at all, since you’re asleep. Well, if we ever get out of this…no, that’s not it. That’s what we said last time. I’m done with this whole taking a step back thing. If that’s not what you want, then I can live with that. But I need you to know…I love you. I know what you think, that you don’t deserve that after Bahrain. Except you’re not always right, no matter what you say.”
He watched as Melinda slept on, blissfully unaware to their hellish surroundings. “Now I just need to have the guts to say this to you while you’re conscious. You mean everything to me, and if it’s okay with you, I’d like to give this, us, a try.”
Melinda gradually became aware of several things.
One, she was lying flat on her back again, but the air felt a bit different in here. She felt…less exposed.
Two, there was something soft under her head, and something soft covering her chest and shoulders. It smelled like home.
Three, her leg throbbed, but not as much or painfully as it had before. And she could barely feel the stab wound on her side anymore.
And finally, someone’s hand was curled around hers, rubbing gentle circles. She’d had her fair share of massages and spa days, but this felt more blissful than anything she’d ever experienced.
“…I’m done with this whole taking a step back thing…” A low voice said. It sounded like the person was sitting right next to her, although his voice echoed for some reason. Melinda’s eyes felt too heavy to open, so she settled for simply listening.
“If that’s not what you want, then I can live with that.”
Her blood nearly froze as she realized it was Phil. What in the hell was he doing here? Yet she was too curious about what he was saying to bother trying to shake herself fully awake.
“But I need you to know…I love you….”
With the tight grip he maintained around her hand, how could he not feel her heartbeat? Surely it had picked up like crazy, alerting him to the fact that she’d woken up.
But he didn’t seem to notice. “Now I just need to have the guts to say this to you while you’re conscious,” Phil said, confirming to May that he was pretty much the biggest idiot she’d ever met. An adorable idiot, but an idiot nonetheless.
“You mean everything to me, and if it’s okay with you, I’d like to give this, us, a try.” Phil finished. “Okay.” He chuckled awkwardly to himself. “I guess I’ll let you sleep in peace now.”
Although her mind had felt foggy and only half awake moments ago, now her thoughts raced as she replayed Phil’s words over and over. I love you. You mean everything to me. I love you. You mean everything to me.
You mean everything to me too, Melinda replied in her head. And she couldn’t wait to show (not tell, because she wasn’t exactly the most verbose person) how much.

Destination: Archipelago – 8 of The Best Island Beaches Ever!
Beaches have been a prime tourist magnet for as long as we can remember – and for good reason, too. The sheer number of things one can do on the beach are endless: one can just spend the whole day sunbathing and playing with the sand, or even work up a sweat by surfing and snorkelling. Oftentimes, islands have the most spectacular beaches – which makes sense, since they’re surrounded by water. They also have expansive and culturally significant histories, because of the many hardships and integrations brought through past colonisations and current legislation. And this is exactly why, in this article, we will dive into what really makes the island beaches of these archipelagos tick:
● Our First ‘Island Beaches’ Pick: The Carribean – Curaçao Off the coast of the southern Carribean sea, this island is actually a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Apart from it being a settlement alive with the arts and in touch with their colourful side, its beaches are a pleasure to the eye as well.  The characteristic blue-green water that shifts into fine white sand is something that all 35+ island beaches here have – and maybe a peaceful sit-down with a classic gelato in one hand is what will really bring you to that  happy place! Considering the number of beach options you have here, choosing one of them is imaginably hard. The west of town is home to Boka St. Michiel beach, which is a small fishing locality where one can find scrumptious Curaçao food, and also bob in one of their tiny boats as you watch the sun set. Alternatively, the island’s most popular snorkelling and diving beach is Caracasbaai, which is part of an underwater park. It is a local favourite as well, due to its surrounding restaurants and free entry. This could be a great place to make some new friends, both underwater and above as well!
● Number Two: Maldives Maldives is located at the lower end of the Indian Ocean, and is closest to Sri Lanka. This set of islands is considered the world’s lowest-lying country, and because of which, changing sea tides (and ultimately global warming) impact it heaviest. The country is putting much of its efforts into sustainability and regrowth, with many of its local residents participating in its coral restoration efforts near Baa Atoll. These are aided by introducing self-sustaining methods of coral propagation, so that the consequences of coral bleaching are eradicated in a few years’ time. Many other sustainable steps – such as fishing regulations, island recycling plants, and phasing out single-use plastic – all add to the overall enjoyable experience of entering a clean, environmentally-friendly beach. Activities such as snorkelling, diving and island-hopping tours are common and encouraged, with some even being private and exclusive.
● Island Beaches In Seychelles Seychelles is also a collection of islands off the Indian Ocean – they are close to the Somali sea, and are a country by themselves (the Republic of Seychelles). The 115-island nation never fails to amaze photographers, with it being one of the most photographed beach locations ever. And for good reason – Anse Source D’Argent, on the island of La Digue is one such marvel whose cerulean waters are a mere backdrop to its pink sand and large boulders. Another extremely cool sight is the UNESCO-approved Aldabra, the second largest coral atoll in the world. They also boast the largest population of Giant Tortoises, and is a relatively isolated area that requires prior permission to visit. Anse Lazio is also laurelled with being the 6th best beach in the world – this Praslin beauty is truly a place where one must drink in its multifaceted beauty whilst soaking up some sun as well.
Our Fourth Pick, French Polynesia Ever heard of Bora-Bora? Well, this fascinating beach location is part of French Polynesia, along with 118 other islands that cover 2000 kilometres’ worth of the South Pacific Ocean. This extensive set of islands are where striking aquamarine lagoons meet cerulean ocean depths – a laid-back style of living, with adventure in the form of snorkelling and diving just around the corner. Lonely Planet classifies Tikehau atoll as “arguably the prettiest one in the country”, and even without this guarantee, the empty island beaches, whale watching and bird nesting grounds are truly a spectacular sight. Many of the beaches are surrounded by coral reefs, which are a great place to experience marine wildlife whilst snorkelling or diving. However, some of the beaches that do not have coral reefs are a paradise for another reason – surfing is all the rage here! Tahiti boasts another kind of diversity – most beaches here have heat-absorbing black volcanic sand, which make for a cool post-holiday story, and a memorable French Polynesia trip.
USA’s Most Famous Island – Hawaii Hawaii is the only island state of the USA, which lies outside North America. It is a place we all know and grow up with, a stereotypical notion of flower crowns and graceful hip-swinging line dances is what comes to mind first. But it is so much more than that – the culture that goes with respecting and nurturing their land, as well as its awe-striking island beaches are what Hawaiians pride more. It is also home to the ukulele, which is a small guitar-like instrument that is increasingly popular outside the islands as well. Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Big Island, Lanai and Molokai are their main tourist islands, which each host a myriad of underwater (and land-based!) attractions. All of these islands are picturesque movie-scene clichés brought to life, with the added bonus of a pink-and-orange hued sunset and wine to enjoy company with.
Number Six: Fiji Islands The Republic of Fiji lies in Melanesia, and is a part of the South Pacific Ocean. Its closest neighbour is New Zealand, another island country. There are so many things to do in Fiji, that it’s so hard to keep track of what your itinerary should look like – being one of the top places to go for adventure and extreme island sport is definitely one of them.Currently, the focus lies on its astoundingly beautiful beaches – two of which include Suncoast and Coral Coast. They are so diverse compared to each other, with the former boasting offshore reefs, an island adventure and hidden waterfalls, and the latter making you wonder whether you’re on an island or in a desert, with Sigatoka sand dunes. Much of Fiji’s landscape is untouched and naturally diverse, and the locals make sure that they give it the respect it deserves. It’s really easy to forget your worries over here, since the list of all the beach activities that one can do here just keeps expanding!
Seventh Heaven: The Bahamas The Bahamas is known for its beaches – and with over 2,000 islands being part of this archipelago, we’re not surprised! From honeymoons and family vacations to backpacker heaven – Bahamas has tailormade experiences to suit all kinds of tourist needs. Their large collection of island beaches are praised for its diversity: active beaches, secluded beaches, family friendly beaches… You name it! And really, the Bahamas beach culture goes way beyond the shore – with diving, snorkelling, boating, fishing, private flying (over these amazing coasts, of course) and countless water sports being some of the most viable options. You can taste the adventure at Blue Lagoon Island Beach, or have some quiet me-time with a book and tequila at Ford’s Beach – or do both, since you’re already here anyway!
● Last But Not Least, Thailand’s Island Beaches Thailand, formerly known as Siam, is a country in Southeast Asia that comprises over 76 provinces – it is also the number-one most-visited tourist destination in Asia, and for good reason, too. Some of Asia’s best beaches lie here, in Thailand. Waters are closer to a greenish-turquoise hue here, rather than the striking blue. They blend in well with the high-rising eroded cliffs and grainy white sand that beaches in Koh Lipe and Krabi are filled with. Getting on a long, slim boat with your significant other and cruising through these winding structures make for a day well spent! Many Thai beaches are secluded, with them having small private coves and a patch of lavish flora and fauna secretly waiting for you to explore. Other island beaches, such as those in more popular areas (Phuket, for example) are more localised and tourist-friendly. They have eateries and cities in nearer proximity, which make them ideal for a quick dip. Now that we’ve provided you with 8 of the coolest beaches to visit on islands, the question is – which one will you choose? The options are endless, and aren’t even just limited to those on the list – luckily, you can sit tight in comfort while making your pick, letting us at Visa2Fly guide you on your next enticing vacation! If you want to find out more about other countries with beautiflul waterbodies, our cool blogs can help with that! Check out our Finland, Denmark and Norway Pages as well.

A SHORT LAYOVER IN BAHRAIN
Once we entered the hotel Rotana at almost midnight, a smell of fresh cutted grass with a mixture of lilium surprised us in a very positive way. The whole lobby was so clear and clean. After everybody got their card for the room, we’ve got a briefing by the manager in person, telling us about the hotel, beach, pools and restaurants. We’ve decided to go (after we changed) to cellar 22 for a drink.
I went to my place to change and when I entered my room... it was breathtaking! With a state of the art design and all those beautiful smells, this hotel got me. The walls of vintage wood, the floor of marble and one of the walls were complete in glass showing the beach with its palms which were lighted in the night. The room hasn’t a light on the ceiling but everywhere to create a cosy atmosphere, like below the bed, behind the curtain, mirror, couch and so on. You are automatically at a relax mode! Anyway - I changed and went to the bar, having a good time.
The next morning, sun woke me up and a blue shimmer from the sea entered my room. I stood up and went to the window, opened the curtain... and there it was: Bahrain at daylight! I couldn’t wait to enter the beach and feel the sun and the heat of 29°C on my skin. I ordered my breakfast to my room (which was so good! Fresh fruits, perfect scrambled eggs and so much more) and once I was done, I was on my way to actual part of the layover. I chose a sun lounger at a quiet place. The fresh breeze, mixed with the oceans smell was absolutely satisfying after all the cold weeks in Germany. I literally was on this spot the whole day while listening to arabian lounge music. Since the water of the sea was kind of cold, I decided to swim in the pool afterwards.
When I saw the time, I knew, the enjoyable part is getting already to an end. It was 4 p.m. and in 6 hours, we must leave the hotel for our flight back to Frankfurt via Kuwait. Some destinations from the Airbus A330 and A340 family at my company, are just “Abholer Flüge” (you can translate it into like “picking up flights”) - meaning we are just staying 24 hours. So, you have more or less 7 to 8 hours for your own to do something. Because you are tired, the time where you can do something is very limited (on the Boeing 747, which I will fly on July, the layovers are much longer). I knew that I still need to have lunch and rest before I prepare for my flight. So, I went to my room and took a shower in this enormous bathroom. I ordered an oriental mezze plate with different snacks from the arabian region but when it came to rest... no way. I couldn’t sleep even for one hour. I was not tired at all, but I would be in the next hours. At least I knew, since the flight time is longer (you always fly faster from west to east and slower from east to west due to the wind), we would get a rest time on board.
I changed into my uniform and went to the lobby for check out, where I got an original arabian coffee for free. It was very spicy but delicious. The pick-up time was getting closer and I met the crew at the lobby again. For the next flight to Frankfurt.
See you next time Bahrain! I will come back for sure.

Pet accessories- a unique way to pamper your pet
Tumblr media
Pets are innocent and the most loyal of all the best friends of humans. Going by the trend, humans have always been into adopting dogs, cats, parrots, birds, tortoises, etc. However, very few of them realise that their pet's natural habitat is shifted and so should their setup change. Here is when certain items can help the pets to feel at ease and home. Their comfort ensures better health and one enjoying their company in reality.
Let's tour around the kind of accessories available in the market today that will give you a glimpse of what all can you provide your pet. Here are the available pet accessories in Bahrain, that one can find at https://www.bednbiscuits.net/blog/.
Toys: This is, but probably one of the most less talked about pet accessories. Very few people get their pets all this fancy stuff.  Considering dogs and cats, simple balls of differing sizes, colours and shapes are widely available. A typical game to fetch the ball is usually played with dogs and cats.
With birds as pets, usually swinging toys are sold. These contain sweet-sounding bells that can act as an excellent pastime for birds.
Feeder trays: This is one of the basic stuff that anybody buys while getting a pet. Colourful trays of different sizes and shapes are available for your pet. Your pets can drink water, eat their food with ease and spillage. These are important from a pet's point of view considering their different needs. There are numerous bowls available for cats and dogs, keeping in mind their moods and care.
Essentials: One can easily pamper any pet with their specific clothes that are colourful, warm for winters and breezy for summers. Apart from exciting clothes, pet's essentials would also cover collar bands, attractive covers for their mane, etc. All this simply adds to their positive emotions and feelings of getting care. These days, printed, patterned and interesting bandanas are available in the market for your pet.
Tents and min-houses: There are many mini-tents available for dogs and cats, which can be carried away for your next trip with your pet. One can even use tunnels for cats and mini-houses for dogs inside the home to provide a different setup from their usual routine. These are just another way to add the difference to their regular beds.
Treating your pets like another family member is a habit of many. People take care and realise that pets are living away from their natural habitat. Engaging pets with accessories makes them feel loved and cared, unlike any other living being. Try to buy your pets high quality and healthier accessories to get no harm living at your home.
Amidst the competitive market available in this segment, it is essential that one chooses the best for one's pet and pampers all their life.
One can find a wide array of pet accessories in Bahrain at https://www.bednbiscuits.net/blog/ and get the right product for one's pet.

Live Coronavirus News Updates and Analysis
A national teachers’ union says its members can strike to ensure schools reopen safely.
The second-largest teachers’ union in the United States announced on Tuesday that it would support its 1.7 million members if they choose to strike in districts and states that move to reopen classrooms without adequate health and safety measures.
The union, the American Federation of Teachers, said strikes should be a “last resort.” But the resolution approved by the organization’s executive council gives educators and their union representatives additional muscle in negotiations over what would constitute adequate protection for teachers and school employees.
The union is pushing for schools to wait to reopen classrooms until coronavirus transmission rates in a community fall below 1 percent and average daily test positivity rates stay below 5 percent — something that very few places have achieved. A recent New York Times analysis found that only two of the nation’s 10 largest school districts could reopen under the latter threshold.
The union also wants effective contact tracing in place in regions that reopen schools, mask requirements for students and teachers, updated ventilation systems in school buildings and procedures to maintain six feet of distance between individuals.
“We will fight on all fronts for the safety of our students and their educators,” the union’s president, Randi Weingarten, said in a speech at the organization’s annual convention, which is being held online this week. She said that if the federal government can support the cruise industry and hedge funds during the coronavirus crisis, “they sure as hell can help working families, and can help educators ensure our kids get the education they need.”
Some online activists have been pushing for even stricter guidelines than those recommended by the A.F.T., with some educators demanding that schools stay shuttered until there are no new cases in a region for 14 days.
Education leaders have said they need hundreds of billions of dollars to implement measures that would allow schools to reopen safely. On Monday, Senate Republicans introduced a stimulus package that fell far short of what Democrats and organized labor have proposed. The legislation would provide $70 billion for K-12 education, but condition two-thirds of that money on schools reopening at least partially in person, a priority for President Trump, who sees it as key to reviving the nation’s economy by allowing parents to work.
The A.F.T.’s authorization vote leaves it up to local chapters to make the decision on whether to plan a strike. The Florida Education Association has already sued Gov. Ron DeSantis and other officials to prevent school buildings from reopening in that state, where virus cases are surging. On Tuesday, Florida again broke its daily record for deaths, reporting 186 fatalities. It also reported 9,230 cases.
Senate Republicans, under pressure from the White House to embrace an obsession of President Trump’s, have included in their latest emergency pandemic aid proposal $1.75 billion for the construction of a new F.B.I. headquarters in downtown Washington, D.C.
The proposal drew outrage from Democrats, who charged that it was an attempt by Mr. Trump to use the economic stabilization package — meant to help struggling Americans weather a pandemic and a recession — to enrich himself.
They have long charged that Mr. Trump intervened to make sure the F.B.I. scuttled plans to erect a new headquarters in suburban Washington and instead chose to refurbish its existing building, in order to make sure that the site was not redeveloped with a project that would compete with his company’s luxury hotel across the street. The Justice Department’s top investigator last year launched an inquiry into the decision.
“They managed to have enough money for $2 billion for the F.B.I. headquarters that benefits Trump hotel, and they say they have no money for food assistance?” Senator Chuck Schumer, Democrat of New York and the minority leader, said on Monday. “What the heck is going on?”
Some leading Senate Republicans, who included the F.B.I. building money in the $1 trillion recovery package they rolled out on Monday, appeared not to know themselves.
Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the majority leader, at first said he did not believe the funding had been included in the measure, and then told reporters to ask the administration “why they insisted on that provision.”
Asked about how the construction of a new F.B.I. building related to the pandemic, Senator Richard C. Shelby of Alabama, the chairman of the Appropriations Committee, said, “Good question,” and stressed that it was “an administration proposal.”
The line item is just one of a long list of differences between Republicans and Democrats who are staring down a Friday deadline to strike a compromise on a new round of federal virus aid before enhanced jobless benefits expire.
Mark Meadows, the White House chief of staff, and Steven Mnuchin, the Treasury secretary, planned to go to Capitol Hill on Tuesday to begin negotiating with Democrats, who are pushing a $3 trillion aid bill. Speaker Nancy Pelosi is scheduled to hold another meeting with the two men and Mr. Schumer in her Capitol Hill suite at 4 p.m. Tuesday, the third such meeting in the last two weeks.
The Yankees’ game against the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday has been postponed, according to a person familiar with the matter who was not authorized to speak publicly before the official announcement.
The teams’ game on Monday night was also postponed following news of an outbreak within the Miami Marlins, who had played three games at the Phillies’ Citizens Bank Park over the weekend. Phillies’ players and staff members received additional testing on Monday but the results of those tests has not yet been announced. The visiting clubhouse at the ballpark was also being disinfected.
On Monday, the Marlins’ scheduled games against the Baltimore Orioles for that day and Tuesday were also postponed. The Marlins have at least 18 confirmed positive cases among their players and coaches, according to another person familiar with the matter who was not authorized to discuss the results.
The Yankees, who arrived in Philadelphia on Monday, have been sequestered in their hotel and were not allowed to go to Citizens Bank Park on Monday. To stay active, some worked out indoors.
But after Tuesday’s postponement, the Yankees plan to leave town. They were expected to return to New York on Tuesday afternoon and work out at Yankee Stadium. The last time they played was on Sunday in Washington, defeating the Nationals, 3-2.
Hajj during the pandemic: Sterilized pebbles, bottled holy water and no kissing the sacred stone.
In any other year, Muslims undertaking the hajj, the annual pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca that observant Muslims are obligated to perform at least once, would drink from a holy well. They would kiss the Kaaba’s sacred black stone as they thronged the Grand Mosque. Before they left Mecca, they would collect pebbles to ritually stone the devil.
During the virus edition of the hajj that begins on Wednesday, the black stone is off limits. Authorities in Saudi Arabia are issuing bottled water from the Zamzam well instead of letting pilgrims drink from cups at the source. Also in the pilgrim packages: sterilized pebbles to hurl at the devil, personal prayer rugs and other items intended to prevent an outbreak from marring the hajj.
But the chief public health measure the Saudi government has taken is to limit attendance, shrinking one of the world’s most famous crowds to a select few. About 2.5 million Muslims from around the world performed the hajj last year; this year, Saudi Arabia said it would allow just 1,000 pilgrims, all of them from within the kingdom, though it has not released the final number.
Across the Middle East, celebrations for Eid al-Adha, the festival of sacrifice that marks the end of the hajj this weekend, will likewise be paler this year.
In Oman and Bahrain, where the unchecked spread of the virus among low-paid foreign laborers living in crowded conditions has contributed to two of the world’s worst outbreaks, officials have urged residents to forego the large celebrations that usually mark Eid, and Oman has reinstituted a domestic travel ban and curfew. In Egypt, new cases have fallen as the country resumes normal life, but a live broadcast will replace communal Eid prayers.
In the United Arab Emirates, where it is common for residents to buy sheep or other livestock to sacrifice and donate during Eid, the authorities were encouraging people to use apps to reduce crowding at slaughterhouses and markets.
Countries across the region are reopening despite lingering hot spots. While Persian Gulf countries including Oman and Bahrain continue to struggle with large outbreaks, smaller ones in Yemen and Syria — where years of war have decimated health care systems and mired the population in deepening poverty — are rapidly metastasizing.
Trump shares a video containing misinformation about hydroxychloroquine. Social media platforms respond.
Mr. Trump shared on his Twitter account Monday night a viral video containing a series of false or misleading medical claims about the coronavirus, as social media companies scrambled to halt the video’s rapid spread.
Facebook and YouTube removed versions of the video, and Twitter later removed the post shared by the president. At least one version, which was shared on Facebook by the right-wing Breitbart news site, had garnered over 13 million views before it was removed. Other versions of the video, including shorter, edited clips, were still online Monday night.
The video featured what appeared to be a group of doctors in white coats, standing in front of the Supreme Court building in Washington, D.C., in what appeared to be a news conference. The doctors made a series of misleading claims, including that hydroxychloroquine could be taken as a preventive measure.
The use of the drug to treat or prevent coronavirus has been widely disputed by the medical establishment. The Food and Drug Administration revoked its emergency authorization in June after deeming it “unlikely to be effective” while carrying potential risks, and the National Institutes of Health halted clinical trials of the drug in June. But Mr. Trump repeatedly boosted the drug in the early months of the crisis, and said in May (not in June, as an earlier post said) that he was taking it himself.
It was the most recent example of misinformation that has spread about the coronavirus, at times being shared by Mr. Trump and others in the White House. A YouTube spokesman said in a statement that the video had been removed for “violating Covid-19 misinformation policies.”
On Tuesday, Twitter put limits on the account of Donald Trump Jr., the president’s oldest son, after he also shared the widely circulated video. Twitter said he was required to delete the tweet with misinformation, and the platform said it would also limit his account’s functionality for 12 hours.
“The tweet you referenced was in violation of our Covid-19 misinformation policy,” a Twitter spokesman, Ian Plunkett, said. “We are taking action in line with our policy here.”
The Venice Film Festival announced the lineup on Tuesday for its 77th edition, setting out precautions including temperature checks and new outdoor screening sites for one of the first large international festivals held since the pandemic began.
The festival will run from Sept. 2 to Sept 12, with a reduced schedule. Between 55 and 60 films will be screened, as opposed to last year’s 80.
“The show must go on and the world must go on,” said Roberto Cicutto, the president of La Biennale di Venezia, which runs the festival, in a phone interview, adding that it was important “to watch and to discuss movies together, to live this art the way we used to live it.”
Films in contention for the festival’s top prize, the Golden Lion, include Chloé Zhao’s “Nomadland,” starring and produced by Frances McDormand; Mona Fastvold’s “The World to Come,” starring Vanessa Kirby and Casey Affleck; and “Pieces of a Woman,” directed by Kornel Mundruczo and starring Shia LaBeouf.
Screening in the festival’s nonfiction section will be “Salvatore Ferragamo: The Shoemaker of Dreams,” a documentary directed by Luca Guadagnino, as well as “City Hall” from Frederick Wiseman, a look at Boston’s administrative center.
Though Shanghai’s international film festival went ahead in July, the pandemic has forced the cancellation or postponement of most of the gatherings that traditionally structure the year for filmmakers in Hollywood and elsewhere in the West, including Cannes and the Tribeca Film Festival.
Here are other developments from around the globe:
Spain’s prime minister said that Britain had made “an error” by imposing a quarantine on everyone arriving from his country, a decision that blindsided British vacationers and dealt another blow to Spain’s tourism industry. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, in an interview with the news outlet Telecinco on Monday, said that Britain should have taken into account the regional divergences in Spain’s coronavirus cases and not issued a blanket order.
Data released by the United Nations World Tourism Organization on Tuesday showed that leisure travel fell by 98 percent during the first five months of the year, compared with 2019. The group said that globally 300 million fewer people traveled, representing a loss of $320 billion for the tourism industry.
Vietnam suspended domestic flights into and out of the tourist destination of Danang for 15 days after discovering at least 14 coronavirus cases, according to Reuters. International travel was halted months ago, but domestic tourists still traveled to Danang, a coastal city. About 80,000 people, mostly tourists, were ordered to evacuate on Monday after the discovery of the country’s first local transmissions in 100 days.
China recorded 68 new virus infections on Monday, its National Health Commission said on Tuesday, including six in Liaoning Province and 57 in the northwestern region of Xinjiang, where a flare-up since mid-July has shown little sign of abating. As China battles the surge, the authorities in the northeastern port city of Dalian, in Liaoning, have said they will test all 6 million residents after an outbreak. Samples have been collected from about 1.68 million Dalian residents as of Sunday night, the official Xinhua news agency reported.
Kenya’s president, Uhuru Kenyatta, closed all bars and banned the sale of alcoholic drinks in restaurants for 30 days to try to curb the spread of the virus. In a speech Monday, Mr. Kenyatta said recent reopening measures had given “some Kenyans false comfort that this is not a serious health risk to them and their families.”
A concert in the Hamptons is being criticized for a lack of social distancing.
A charity concert Saturday night in the Hamptons that featured performances from the chief executive of Goldman Sachs and the D.J. duo the Chainsmokers drew outrage and a state investigation after video footage showed attendees appearing to ignore health precautions.
The concert, called Safe & Sound, was supposed to involve guests sitting outside near their vehicles in spaced-out areas to watch the performances, including one from the chief executive of Goldman Sachs, David M. Solomon, also known as D.J. D-Sol.
Tickets cost up to $25,000, according to Billboard.
The event generated angry social media posts and on Monday, criticism from state officials. In a letter to the supervisor of Southampton, where the concert was held, New York’s health commissioner, Howard A. Zucker, wrote that he was “greatly disturbed” by reports of thousands of people standing close and “generally not adhering to social-distancing guidance.”
“I am at a loss as to how the Town of Southampton could have issued a permit for such an event, how they believed it was legal and not an obvious public health threat,” Dr. Zucker wrote.
The town supervisor, Jay Schneiderman, who was also listed as an opener for the concert, did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Monday night. The event organizers did not answer questions about whether they knew that people were breaking the rules.
Several people who went to the concert told Buzzfeed News that they felt safe and that people were social distancing.
Elsewhere in the New York area:
New York, grappling with how to prevent another large outbreak, will now require travelers from Puerto Rico, Washington D.C. and 34 states to quarantine for 14 days, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said Tuesday. The new states added to the list are Illinois, Kentucky and Minnesota.
Long Beach Island, a popular summertime destination along the Jersey Shore, is now a different kind of hot spot.
Thirty-five lifeguards from two boroughs on the barrier island — Surf City and Harvey Cedars — recently tested positive, the island’s health department announced on Monday.
Public health officials said that half of the lifeguards had mild symptoms and the rest had none. None were hospitalized, the officials said.
The outbreak was traced to two gatherings on July 12 and July 14, according to the Long Beach Island Health Department, which said it dispatched nurses to investigate cases and issue quarantine orders.
“Based on our investigation so far, the workplace was not the source of transmission and practices likely prevented additional cases,” the Health Department said in a news release. “The youth and young adults should recognize they are not immune to this virus.”
During his briefing on Monday, Gov. Phil Murphy of New Jersey mentioned the outbreak on Long Beach Island and said he was troubled by reports of large gatherings of young people.
“This is among us, folks,” Mr. Murphy said. “Any of us who thinks we can just put our feet up and relax and let this take its course is not paying attention, particularly congregating inside, in close proximity, poor ventilation, without face coverings. You’re looking for trouble. You’re absolutely looking for trouble, no matter how old you are.”
Germany, an early model for containing the virus, is confronting a surge. Its top health experts urge masks.
The German federal agency in charge of disease control sounded an alarm on Tuesday over a rising number of cases across the nation.
Lothar Wieler, the leader of the agency, the Robert Koch Institute, urged Germans for the first time to wear masks outdoors if a distance of 1.5 meters, or about 5 feet, cannot be maintained.
Germany reported 633 new cases on Monday, and four deaths. Though Germany’s daily death count has been in the single digits for most of this month, there have been more than 3,000 new cases over the past week.
“The new developments in Germany make me very worried,” Mr. Wieler said, adding, “The rise has to do with the fact that we have become negligent.
When the virus began spreading in March, Germany imposed one of the strictest lockdowns in Europe. It was seen as a model for other countries. Since it began reopening, there have been flare-ups that have spurred local lockdowns, including one in June.
But on Tuesday, Mr. Wieler said he wondered if this latest uptick was a harbinger of something more.
“We don’t know if this is the beginning of a second wave, but of course it could be,” he said. But he added, “I am still optimistic that we can prevent this.”
‘Not sparing anyone’: A Texas funeral home sees the toll of the virus all around.
Johnny Salinas Jr., the owner of Salinas Funeral Home typically handles five funerals a week. But on a recent day, with the virus tearing through his community, he saw that many grieving families in a single day.
A sixth family was waiting, too. His own.
Mr. Salinas changed from a polo shirt into a crisp black suit and left his office for the chapel next door. The light blue coffin of his great-uncle, who died of Covid-19, sat at the front of the room, adorned with white flower arrangements and a wooden crucifix.
“The virus is not sparing anyone,” Mr. Salinas said. “Not even my family.”
In the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, funeral homes — like hospitals — are overloaded and struggling to carry out basic services and keep up with the expanding crisis. Local funeral homes, officials said, have not experienced such demand in decades.
About one in 60 residents of Hidalgo County is known to have had the virus, and about one of every 2,000 people has died from the virus, a New York Times database shows. Hidalgo County now has one of the highest per capita death rates in the state.
At the start of July, fewer than 50 deaths in Hidalgo County had been attributed to the virus, according to the database. By Saturday, there had been more than 450.
“It’s like a bad dream,” said Linda Ceballos, a co-director of Ceballos Funeral Home in McAllen. “You want to wake up, but you can’t.”
The death toll is forcing funeral directors to bypass traditional services like velorios, viewings that sometimes last for days and are filled with prayers, hugs and sorrowful Spanish-language songs. Instead, many funeral homes are shortening viewing times and limiting attendance. Some have ordered large refrigerator trucks to store bodies until they can get to them.
When the virus engulfed New York, it pummeled the transit work force: So far, 131 transit workers have died from the virus and more than 4,000 have tested positive, making the Metropolitan Transportation Authority one of the hardest-hit government agencies in New York.
For many, the pandemic has left an indelible mark. Pan Chan, a bus driver, moved out of his family’s home for months to shield his wife and children. Sally Lutchman, a train conductor, worried that she might have infected her husband, who was hospitalized with Covid-19 for months. Cesar Torres Jr., a second-generation bus operator, watched his father die.
Now, as riders trickle back, these workers are facing the prospect of a second wave, even as they are coping with the trauma from the peak of the outbreak.
The advertising industry may see permanent cuts after marketing budgets have dwindled during the pandemic. Agencies will likely be smaller, and work could start going to part-time contractors.
The tightening industry has already led to simpler and more practical ad campaigns, and more clients have asked that their ads be made by and feature a more diverse group of people, while also demanding more evidence that the ads are effective. Agencies have also experimented with digital tools to help brands stay relevant, such as a “tension map” that analyzes online conversations around the country.
“There’s a big correction — a lot of these teams have gotten too big and too bloated,” said Gaston Legorburu, founder of the Florida-based ad agency Glue IQ. “They’re now having the realization that they can do twice as much with half as many people.”
In 2020 and 2021, agencies will shed 52,000 jobs, and half of these will not return, predicted Jay Pattisall, an analyst with the research firm Forrester.
The pandemic takes an extra toll on families with special needs.
Missing social contacts and altered routines can be particularly intense for children with developmental challenges. Disturbed sleep and eating habits, too, can make life more challenging for the children and their families. Here are some strategies to cope better.
