You know, I won’t act as if being fictionkin is all hunky-dory, but let me tell YOU. It can also be fucking AWESOME sometimes.

I’ve been told MULTIPLE times by family members that I’ve been more energetic since figuring out I’m Robotnik. You gotta understand, I was going through some rough shit at the time, so having it dawn on me that I’m also a cool evil 300 IQ man felt like having god come down and tell me I’m awesome. Not to mention in retrospect I’ve always acted at least a BIT Robotnik, so having the context as to why makes me feel a lot better about myself and things I’ve done my whole thing that I thought were weird. Like yeah of course I’m weird. I’m Dr. Robotnik, I’m the smartest person on Earth. It’s COOL that I’m “weird”. And I LOVE it and I will CONTINUE being weird out of spite! I’m so fucking cool!!

In other words; it feels like I was an unlit candle that’s just been set on fire again and I feel more myself then I ever was before. World domination is BACK ON, baby!

Godddd. I do loosely remember stuff about working with the government, and goodness gracious it was hell. I was living in a world full of idiots already, and I had to work with the biggest idiots with power. I’m literally giving you the most powerful weapons and equipment in the world, not to MENTION the time of a genius beyond anybody’s understanding, and you start shit talking about me, go out of your way to ruin my tech, make everybody have a bad time and then expect me to still do my 100%. I’m well aware I was and still am a pain in the ass but CMON MAN. Let it be known that if I could go back to that time I would absoLUTELY strangle half of those people because oh my god. They were like. Not even the fun kind of evil. Just horrendous and stupid.

You know, I will never find it not hilarious how most of my fond memories as Robotnik are completely batshit. I mean, it makes sense. I’m a mad scientist bent on world domination, it’d be kind of hard to remember anything remotely “normal” when my idea of the word was. Well.

Anyway, aforementioned fond memory starts with me being kidnapped. I don’t believe I was hurt in any meaningful way, which probably contributed to that, but whatever. I was sloppily tied up by a bunch of hooligans in some abandoned building that smelled like sewage. Probably because there. WAS sewage there. I was in a ridiculously oversized room where everything was echoing and because of that my captors were threatening me from halfway across the room as if that was going to fill the space. It honest to god felt like a cartoon gag how far away they were, like I couldn’t take it seriously. I kept pretending I couldn’t hear them.

The batshit part comes in when Stone arrives and they’re both dead within the second. No surprise I was found so quickly, there were huge windows lining the roof on both sides, of COURSE. A couple other associates heard the gunfire and started rushing in from all sides, and I remember Stone managing to take an alarming amount of them down (me when my assistant is a badass 💕💕❤️❤️) before we eventually got bored of seeing people get shot and opted instead to just book it. Stone brought my control gloves, though, so there was no way in hell we were getting out swiftly or quietly. Lord knows I wouldn’t be satisfied after those idiots somehow managed to get their hands on me unless SOMETHING exploded. I don’t know how we got there, this might be a different disconnected memory honestly, but we were at one point sliding down a huge pipe filled with sewage while the place was ACTIVELY being blown up. I was laughing and cheering like I just won the Super Bowl. I think a bomb or whatever it is I was using to blow shit up (I had an alarming amount of tech that could cause explosions) went off RIGHT beside us but I didn’t care. I was treating it like a water park slide. I don’t think Stone was enjoying it as much because he was clinging onto me but I can’t blame him. Once again. Multiple people with weapons were after us and also something just blew up right next to us. Understandable.

IIIIII don’t think whatever weird abandoned plant we were in survived that ordeal, cause I remember looking at the ruins of a similar looking place. The walls were fucking scorched. I think there was some government or military dude getting mad at us for it but like whatever man. Didn’t recognize them then don’t recognize them now. Overall, a very pleasant getting kidnapped experience. I’m giggling like a schoolgirl writing in her diary as I write this like you don’t understand. We blew a place up and got away mostly scott free. That was awesome.

I repeat: all of my fondest memories are completely batshit and I wouldn’t have it any other way :)

Hehehehehe,,, it’s just dawned on me that I still have my little music breaks. No I’m not breaking into dramatic dance anymore, but I DO love to just put a song on loop and pace across a room. It’s still the perfect mental refresh to get my thoughts in order.

I’ve REALLY got to re-put together my world domination playlist. Yes I can’t EXACTLY recall everything that was on it, but oh boy do I have some ideas.

Portal 2 is a HUUUUGE comfort game for me. I love the lil robors. The turrets remind me of my babies, they’re so silly… maybe if I ever get my badniks back I can make them sing? That’d be wonderful.

You know, I wonder if there’s any way to do a sort of “pacifist run” in the Portal games where you don’t kill any of the turrets. Playing normally absolutely not, but with advancements in the speedrunning scene and glitches and skips and such, I’m sure it’s somehow possible.

Time for a new experiment. I call it “Comparing myself to Robotnik (myself) to my non-kin friends in the hopes they’ll catch on (if they don’t I’ll be sad and give them a low score)”

One of the funniest things to come out of my… being me is thinking back to childhood memories and them making a LOT more sense in the context of being Robotnik.

For example, in the 3rd grade some kid that I feel looked like a knockoff draco malfoy called me stupid for picking up rocks, and I responded via chasing him around the playground while shrieking and then punching him in the arm. And then adamantly denying that I punched him in the arm despite the numerous witnesses to the event.

In retrospect, that is one of the most me things I’ve ever done.

Had a lil dance break. I don’t wanna be too corny, and say it was just like old times, but… no, nevermind, who said that? Not ME, certainly! Holy SHIT I feel alive!

The song was Bad by Micheal Jackson if you were wondering. A premium, top-tier Robotnik song in my very humble opinion. Of course I know he’d love that song, he’s me.
