When looking for a chiropractor, this is a crucial factor to take into account.

Asking a potential chiropractor if they perform Gonstead adjustments is a common practice. All chiropractors will typically respond in the positive, however this is a very deceptive response. 

You see, all chiropractors have a basic education in Gonstead. They only enroll in one class where they are introduced to the technique. It is hard to master the entire system in school alone if students do not venture outside of the classroom to receive any further instruction. 

However, if a chiropractor uses Gonstead alongside several other chiropractic systems or procedures, it is impossible for them to become fully effective at it due to the difficulty in practicing the technique and in strictly adopting the system.

More importantly, WHY would anyone even consider modifying in any other way if they fully understood how it differed from other techniques?

The answer is no. 

Only 1% of chiropractors are Gonstead specialists. Why? It is extremely easy.

It is by far the most complex and difficult chiropractic system to learn, as all chiropractors are aware. Due to how tough it is to do it correctly, the majority of pupils who try just quit up. 

Generally, there is just one graduate student in each graduating class with expertise in Gonstead. The difficulty is unquestionably what discourages most students from pursuing mastery in it, not failure. In fact, I recall that students would seek out a Gonstead chiropractor to give them an adjustment whenever they were ill or really hurt, even if they didn't personally utilize it. They recognized the most effective method.
