Virginia Beach, Virginia - my “Chipped-Beef Challenge” continued with Rudee’s Sunday brunch menu - my last “known” VB oceanfront location on my list … my friendly bartender team (each wearing a injury boot) were super, the weather was sunny-riffic, and bar-seating with a view were the BEST … unfortunately, my “Chipped-Beef Challenge” qualified for a “SOS” (Shit On Shingle” rating) - room temperature chipped-beef on a soggy generic room-temperature “un-toasted” English muffin with room temperature deep-fried potato cubes (vs. home-fries) … my “Chipped-Beef Challenge” order arrived really FAST, so I assumed NOT made to order … my blueberry muffin was warm & tasty even though it was the last item I ate … sorry, but restaurants are as good as their worst item - this item should NOT be on the menu (Jo Jo should be ashamed to have her name on this item) … I couldn’t even eat the deep-fried generic potato cubes … based on quality, quantity, & price ($8.99) “Rudee’s” wins my “Won’t Order This Again” award … my spicy Bloody Mary gets a 👍, as do my super-riffic servers “Stacy” & “Amber” #RunAwayBill #rabDUSA2021 #DUSA2021 #rabChippedBeefChallenge #ChippedBeefChallenge #VirginiaBeach #rabVirginiaBeach #rabVirginia #Virginia 09.05.21 (at Rudee's Restaurant) https://www.instagram.com/p/CTfS2SXlmRc/?utm_medium=tumblr
