they’re behind the cottage digging around in the garden that rio had raised. sectioned out was a small empty patch, left just for nicky to plant whatever his heart desired. crouched at @elaleph side, rio watched with rapt attention as he carefully tends to the seeds he'd just planted. sure, it’d wouldn’t be much for rio to wave a hand and grow the flowers in a matter of minutes. but then what excuse would they use to play in the dirt? not that she really needed one. being a green witch was excuse enough. “ did i do good? ” his question draws a genuine smile to rio’s lips as she stares down at his innocent gaze. “ you are a natural, mi girasol. ” the witch answers, reaching out to brush away the smudge of dirt that stained his cheek.

‘ i know, mi girasol. ’ rio’s response is gentle. as much as it pains her to be away from her wife and son, the entity does her best to give agatha the distance she requires. to at least give the witch some sense of peace.

‘ one of these days we'll be together. ’ fingers brush back the pieces of dark hair that's fallen loose from it’s tie. ‘ how do you feel? ’

Nicky smiled, as his mother ruffled his hair.

Most the time it was just him and Mama, but his mama had left him at camp because he wasn't feeling well, his mother had come while Mama was in town getting food for them.

"You never stay to see Mama, I wish you would this time."
