I was looking through all my masks and found out that these were expired this year/ about to expire soon so I decided to quickly use them up.

1. Skinfood Snail Mask Sheet source: Yesstyle free gift thoughts: This was okay nothing really special to me. That fit was okay, the only issue I had was mainly around the nose area being a bit on the shorter side for me. This mask is suppose to make rough skin smooth and firm by nourishing the skin. rating: **

2. Skinfood Ginseng Mask Sheet source: Yesstyle free gift thoughts: This smells heavily of ginseng and was okay. The fit was a little small around my nose area and I tend to like to have my nose covered/ the area around it. This mask is suppose to help nourish and moisturize your skin to make it healthy. rating: **

3. Skinfood Caviar Mask Sheet source: Yesstyle free gift thoughts: All of these Skinfood masks I felt like it was about the same. Nothing really special about it. This mask is suppose to help firm skin by providing nutrients and moisture. rating: **

4. Oriental Herbal Skincare Premium Mask Pack: Silk worm (Whitening type) source: beauty event thoughts: I love how thin these are and they do hydrate my skin a lot. I think the effectiveness was lost a little since they have expired. rating: ***

5. Jayjun Cosmetic Refine to Shine source: T & T Supermarket thoughts: I do like these more so than the other Jayjun masks that I have tried, but I don’t think I’ll get these again.  rating: **

6. Mediheal I.P.I Lightmax Ampoule Mask source: Superstore thoughts: This mask wasn’t that thick which was nice. It was kind of cute that it had a rabbit on the cheek but other than that it was just a plain white mask. It did have some excess serum which was nice. This mask is suppose to help brighten, firm, oil control, and improve skin tone. I’m not sure whether this mask did those things, as I do find that you have to use it a few more times to know. This mask was hydrating, it also had a funky scent to me even though this mask wasn’t one that had expired yet. rating: **

7.  Mediheal E.G.T Timetox Ampoule Mask source: Superstore thoughts: Like the Lightmax, this one also had a character on the cheek but a bear instead. I enjoyed this mask a little more than the Lightmax as it didn’t smell as weird. This mask is suppose to help firm, improve wrinkles, and help control skin aging. This mask was also hydrating and had excess serum as well. But not a mask I would get again since I find that The Face Shop The Solution masks work well and are cheaper than these ones. rating: **

8. The Body Shop Petal-Soft Hand Cream: British Rose (30ml/ 1oz) source: The Body Shop thoughts: I love the scent of this, but do be warned this hand cream is heavily fragrance. After using this I do find that my hands are like petal soft. I do like this but I don’t know if I would purchase this again. rating: ***

9. Rocky Mountain Soap Co. Omega 3 Hand Cream: Vanilla Coconut (50ml) source: Rocky Mountain Soap Co. thoughts: This cream smells like almonds and coconut to me. I don’t know why when there isn’t any almonds in the ingredients. This was okay I did get it for free as I’m a member. The cream is on the thicker side and takes some time for the skin to absorb. The fragrance does lasts for a while. I do find that the scent is strong but as the day goes on I do like the scent more as it becomes more on the sweet side. rating: **

10. Bath & Body Works Be Amazing Hand Cream (29ml/ 1oz) source: Bath & Body Works thoughts: This hand cream smells very floral and has a powdery finish to it. The moisture it provides is decent but not enough for me. rating: **

11. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (30ml/ 1oz) source: Deciem Store thoughts: I actually used this on my face for a few weeks before I started using it on my body. When I used it on my face I didn’t notice much of a difference not to my pores anyways as it’s suppose to help minimize them. Plus this product does have like a chemical kind of scent, other than that it’s fragrance-free. I’m not a big fan of it. This was my first time trying The Ordinary products and I do have another one in my stash. I do like that these are very affordable but I don’t think I would purchase from them again. I’m definitely more into Asian beauty products. rating: *

12. The History of Whoo Self-Generating Anti-Aging Essence (8ml) source: sample with purcahse/ The Face Shop thoughts: This essence was very light which is what I like and it spreads on easily. I do feel like my skin is a little better but it’s hard to say since I had a major break out happen to me this month. This essence does have a strong scent to it, not a scent that I am bothered with. However, now that I tend to use products that are lightly scented it does take some time getting use to the more heavier scented products.  rating: ***

13. The History of Whoo Cheongidan Radiant Regenerating Essence (8 ml) source: sample with purchase/ The Face Shop thoughts: The packaging for this is very luxurious and I feel like it was very extra. Although this one also had 8ml like the previous one, I felt like this one had less product. It is non-greasy and hydrating. I’m not so sure about it enhancing my skin tone and elasticity as I don’t have wrinkles or anything, just laugh lines. It does say that in a short period of time you will have firmer, brigheter, and younger looking skin. This does have some fragrance and the texture of this is thicker than the previous one. To me this felt more like a lotion/cream rather than an essence. rating: ***

14. Rocky Mountain Soap Co. Queen Bee Bar Soap source: Rocky Mountain Soap Co. thoughts: This was okay. it didn’t have much of a scent. The raspberry roobis is still my favourite soap. rating: **

15. dear, klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser (100ml/ 3.4 oz) source: Wishtrend thoughts: I do like this foaming cleanser, it’s light and doesn’t break me out. Also I do not detect any scent from this which is nice. This actually gets used up quite fast compared to when I use a gel or foam cleanser. So cost wise this isn’t that great. But it’s great for lazy people as the foam is created already. rating: ****

16. dear, klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner (180ml/ 5.07oz) source: Wishtrend thoughts: Every time I use this in the beginning I tend to break out. I don’t know what it is about this product that keeps doing that, might be the fragrance oils. I do like how moisturizing this product is but I don’t like how it interacts with other products that are already on my face. I do have another full size and 3 mini versions to use up. I don’t think I would purchase this anymore as I have found a better toner and essence. Although this is a great product that would clear space on the bathroom counter, since it can be both a toner and essence. rating: **

17. COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner (150ml/ 5.07oz) source: Yesstyle thoughts: I think this is my second or third time using this, and it’s okay. I do prefer the mandelic acid toner by Wishtrend more. However, this one doesn’t sting on open wounds compared to the mandelic acid. But what I found is that this toner really dries out my nose area compared to the mandelic acid, and that it doesn’t keep away break outs as much as the mandelic acid.  rating: ***

18. COSRX Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion (with Birch Sap) (100ml/ 3.38oz) source: Chuusi thoughts: This has been in my stash for a while and I have finally gotten around to trying it. I love that there’s a pump on this and that the bottle is very clean and not wasted as it’s used. There is a slight scent to it, but I don’t mind it. I did find that this was moisturizing plus also very light on the skin, but I don’t think it would be that good for the winter unless you layer more products. rating: ****

19. Pyunkang Yul A Theraphy  Lotion (500ml/ 18.9oz) source: Style Korean thoughts: This was a very nice lotion which I used on my body. It was light and absorbed into the skin nicely. I actually wanted to get the ATO Lotion but that version wasn’t available at the time, but I have ordered it to try since I have found it. I really enjoyed using this cream plus I like that there was a pump. rating: ****

20. COSRX One Step Moisture Up Pad (70 pads) source: Chuusi thoughts: I do like these as a quick make-up remover before cleansing. However, I just noticed that this product contains hyaluronic acid which doesn’t go too well with my skin. Hence, I only use it as something to remove my makeup and then I would follow up with either a cleanser or a cleansing wipe. I don’t leave the product on my face for too long because I’m worried it would cause me to break out. rating: **

21. About Me Skin Tone Up Massage Cream (150ml) source: Amazon thoughts: I actually started using this maybe like 2 years ago, and I have finally finished using it. At first I used it as was instructed, which was leaving the product on and then removing it with a cloth or cotton pad, this left my skin with a nice glow with some of the oils left. It did provide a good moisturizing base plus I did notice a glow to my skin the next day. And then later on I used it as a cleansing balm, and since I don’t wear too much make up I thought it did a pretty good job of cleansing but I always double cleanse at night regardless. rating: **

22. The Face Shop silky & soft Cotton Pads (80 pcs) source: The Face Shop thoughts: These were nice but they did absorb quite a bit of product. Not something I would buy since I know these are quite pricey. They are strong since they don’t distort too much as I’m wiping. rating: ***

23. Unicharm Silcot Sponge Touch Moisturizing Cotton Pads (40pcs) source: Yesstyle thoughts: My first impression of these were that they were only okay. They did absorb product well and also transferred moisture back as well. However, using them longer and with my toner afterwards I have found that these are strong and very nice. But sadly these are fairly expensive at $4-5 CAD a box, hopefully I can find them for cheaper in Japan. rating: ****

I've been so lazy to blog lately and have been taking a break from bntNews for a couple of months because life does get in the way and when you're not a full time blogger, other priorities come up. . . Anyway, I think it's time I share my nighttime beauty routine since this has greatly helped my dry/combination skin over the last 3 months. I was breaking out before I started this routine which I think was due to being sick and the changing weather. My skin, on top of having break outs, was quite bumpy. I started to see a huge difference on my skin after a week and a half of doing this. My skin is now free of pimples and bumps and the only skin issues I have left (forever my issue) is huge pores and dark under eye circles (which I mostly blame on genetics). 😊 . . . ✔️Start with removing your makeup. I used the Nature Republic Aloe Cleansing Tissue. I didn't take a photo of this since I literally ran out two days ago. Also, I've been switching back and forth to this and the Neutrogena Cleansing Towelettes. ✔️Nature Republic Aloe Vera Cleansing Foam ✔️Holika Holika Skin & Pore Zero Toning Pad ✔️Maycoop Raw Sauce ✔️Mediheal E.G.T Timetox Ampoule Sheet Mask - I actually did 1 sheet mask per night for one month straight. The Timetox is currently my favorite sheet mask and I only do sheet masks twice a week now that my skin is better. For the first month I rotated several sheet masks from different brands but Leaders, Mediheal and SNP remains my top 3. ✔️Yeblang Special A Star Jelly Cream - I have also been switching this up with the Cosrx Honey Ceramide Full Moisture Cream but I have ran out of that one a month ago and this one I'm almost done with too. . . .
