Hey everyone!
In this post, I will be sharing my head spa treatment I got done at Chaum Clinic a couple weekends ago. I was contacted by Eunogo, a medical tourism concierge, to review a popular head spa treatment at the prestigious Chaum Clinic. I was super excited because I’ve never had a head spa before. Just to explain more about Eunogo, they help visitors in Korea to get the best medical and beauty treatments at the best clinics. They have a great selection of services on their website and they also send a translator to your appointment so you will know exactly what’s going on. I’ve had such very many great experiences with them and I would highly recommend them to you.

About Chaum
Now Chaum is a fairly new hospital opened in 2010. Chaum offers various health services for both domestic and overseas visitors. It is one of fanciest hospitals I’ve been to and I was able to take a tour at an Eunogo event some months back. Chaum practices many other specialized medical services like a detoxification program, customized nutrition, vitamin injections, food therapy, immune therapy and other customized programs for visitor’s needs upon consultation.
Treatment
On a rainy Saturday morning, I headed to the hospital and went to the designated Hair Spa area. The room is a bit small, like a small hair salon. I was promptly greeted and told to check a list of symptoms that I have (not scalp related) and then the nurse (?) took a picture of my scalp and the doctor came in to say hello and asked if I had any specific worries about my scalp. The condition of my scalp didn’t look that bad but she did mention that the pores looked a bit clogged and slightly inflamed, but overall no big issues.
I was led to a small curtained room to change and the scalp scaling treatment was a go-go! The chair reclines so that you are comfortably lying down. She first spritzed my scalp with hydrogen water and then proceeded to put my hair in a steamer to clean the hair and scalp. I had the cap on for 15 mins and afterwards, she applied a pre scalp cleansing tonic to the scalp with metal rod wrapped with some cotton. She worked in sections, front, right, left, and back. The liquid was very mentholated so it was super cooling and it helps to boost circulation as well as to cool the temperature of the scalp. FYI a hot scalp leads to hair loss! Hair got ion-steamed some more then she came back to do the same procedure but with a different liquid that helps to lift dead skin cells and scale the scalp.
Then it was time to do the bubble hair pack which helps to clean out the follicles. She applied the foamy lather on my head and gave me a nice head massage. Then we went over to the shampoo station and then she explained to me that every time I shampoo I should always rub the shampoo in my hands then proceed to apply it to the scalp and massage with my fingertips. The rest of our hair will get washed in the process, so it is very important to put more effort in cleansing the scalp. She didn’t apply any conditioner but later she applied a really nice smelling hair serum.

After treatment
She dried my scalp with a hair dryer and then we took photos again. This time around to my surprise it looked worse! However, this showed me that all the dead skin that had been stuck was starting to lift off because of the scaling. I realized that my scalp is just like my face and the rest of my body. I had been neglecting it so I was determined from that day to take care of my poor scalp! I dried the rest of my hair and my head spa came to an end.

My thoughts
My scalp felt refreshed and even after not shampooing for 2 days afterwards my scalp didn’t feel greasy and smelly like it would if I hadn’t gotten the treatment. On the Eunogo website description and pictures, there was supposed to be ‘Alotide Vital Scalp Tonic Regenerative Laser’ but I didn’t get that part of the treatment, not sure why and it was a bit a of a disappointment because it was too late for me to ask about it. So, if you plan to get this procedure done make sure that they do it!
The treatment was about an hour and it costs $300.00USD with a special $30.00 Eunogo discount. It costs a  pretty penny, but because of the scalp analysis, I think it is a great way to find out the causes of your hair and scalp problems. If you have any concerns about your scalp and hair make sure to tell the doctor! In conlusion, I would like to say it’s not much of a relaxing head spa, but more of a scalp treatment. I would definitely recommend this treatment for those who have serious concerns about scalp and hair loss. From this, you can start to care for your scalp from a medical perspective. You can go directly to this link to read more about it. If you have the Kakao Talk app you can directly ask questions to them at their ID ‘eunogo’.

Hey guys! I have been MIA on my blog for about 4 months! I needed a break, and I am ready to blog regularly again.
In this post, I will be reviewing  Liah Yoo’s Krave creations, Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser and the Kale-Lalu-yAHA. The brand launched in December 2017 with a major bang all over social media, since the founder is a social media skincare and beauty guru! Krave only has two products in their line. However, I did hear that she will be releasing a sunscreen soon. I was thrilled that I could try the two products for myself after hearing so many great reviews about both products, let’s start with the cleanser!
The Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser is a product part of their ‘Core Series’. It comes in a tube form, and it lists the main ingredients on the front, like matcha, hemp seeds, oats, almonds, vitamin b5, and sodium PCA. That last ingredient that is listed is the sodium salt of the pyroglutamic acid (also known as PCA). PCA is a naturally occurring component of human skin and a part of the “natural moisturizing factors” (NMF) that maintain a healthy epidermis. This ingredient is a powerful humectant, non-comedogenic and non-irritating to eyes and skin. On the back of the tube, it lists the pH level of 5.0-6.0 which is considered a low pH, good for the skin. You can use this cleanser every day, morning and night. It says also says to apply on wet skin.
I used this for about 3 weeks now, and I like it a lot! It’s a no-fuss gentle cleanser that feels like a cleanser. I’ve tried morning cleansers like this where it just feels like you’re rubbing gel around, but this one actually makes a nice bit of foam and washes off clean without leaving a residue. The consistency is very much like… snot. Haha, it’s not the prettiest way to describe it, but the way it comes out and feels is pretty similar. In other words, it looks very natural and unaltered. The smell is not bad, but not great.
As for its cleansing abilities, it’s NOT a makeup cleansing product, but it’s a nice and gentle second cleanser. I definitely have to do a first round cleansing with an oil or balm cleanser and then as a last cleansing step use the cleanser. My skin feels clean and soft and not at all dry or tight after washing and drying. This is my go-to morning and minimal to no makeup day cleanser. For 120ml/4.05fl.oz tube that costs 16,000KRW/$16.00USD, it is definitely worth it!
Now it’s time to review the Kale-Lalu-yAHA! This is part of their supplement series, and it follows the same product packaging as the cleanser with the main ingredients printed on the box and tube. The main ingredients are kale, spinach, parsley, aloe, 5.25% of glycolic acid (AHA), hyaluronic acid, vitamin B5, and allatonin. The pH level is said to be around 3.5-4.0. I’ve been using it 3 times a week at night, and it’s been a pleasant experience. The first time I tried it stung a little bit, but after that, my skin adjusted to it and doesn’t sting anymore. The first day though after I used it and finished up my routine, my skin looked like GLASS! Omg, I wish I could experience that again haha. It was so good, and it’s still pretty amazing.
You only need a little bit and be gentle when you’re rubbing the cotton pad over the face. You don’t have to wash it off either. This is for sure the best AHA I’ve tried. I love when it’s time to use it. I feel like my skin feel so clean and glowing. For 200ml/6.76fl.oz of product, it costs 25,000KRW/$25.00USD.
Here are the links to both the Korean and English sites!
I hope you guys enjoyed reading this review post. I hope that I will be able to keep at it with the blog posts, fingers crossed!

leegeeham - Vita Propolis Ampoule and Cream Review
Hey everyone!
This is a review on the leegeeham Vita Propolis Ampoule and Cream. To read the Hyal B5 Ampoule and Toner review then click here! Also, these were sent to me in exchange for reviews, but rest assured my opinions are my own.
Leegeeham started and was known in the Korean cosmetic and skincare community for it’s sucessful dermatology clinic. Then over the years they started to develop their own brand of skincare. The leegeeham Grow line is one of 4 different lines they carry, but they do have also products outside of these four categories. The grow line also includes a Hyal5 face cream and cica serum and cream.
Ingredients
The main ingredients in both are 50% propolis, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Hippophae Rhamnoides Extract, and  Ethyl Ascorbyl Ether. Propolis revitalizes and nourishes the dull and tired skin. Portulaca Oleracea Extract soothes the skin. Hippophae Rhamnoides Extract or otherwise known as sea buckthorn and Ethyl Ascorbyl Ether are vitamins rich ingredients that brighten up the skin.
Tumblr media
Ampoule
The ampoule is very small! It’s 15ml and comes in a small glass container with a dropper. However a little goes a long way. A few drops of the slightly viscous fluid spreads all over the face. This ampoule also contains Centella Asiatica which helps repair skin even further. The finish is not sticky, absorbs very quickly and leaves the skin super soft. I love propolis so when I read that this contained 50% I was over the moon! It costs 25,900KRW and I would highly recommend incorporating propolis to your skincare routine because it really makes your skin glow within. I love it!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cream
The cream comes in yellow honey glass jar. Inside there is butter colored cream. The texture is more of a thick lotion. It’s slightly runny and spreads nicely without tugging and absorbs quickly. The finish is not sticky at all and my skin is left super soft. It has no greasy sheen and just leaves a subtle glow. For 50ml it costs 38,900KRW.

Last Thoughts
I absolutely would give this a two thumbs up. Great for all skin types. Having used the Hyal B5 and the Vita Propolis together it made my skin GLOW. I have tons of other skincare to review, but these products really made it hard for me to take a break after using them consistently for 3 weeks. I can’t wait to get back on it!

leegeehaam - Grow Hyal B5 Toner and Ampoule Review
Hey everyone!
This is a review on the leegeeham Grow Hyal B5 Toner and Ampoule. To read the Vita Propolis Ampoule and Cream review then click here! Also these were sent to me in exchange for reviews.
Leegeeham started and was known in the Korean cosmetic and skincare community for it’s successful dermatology clinic. Then over the years they started to develop their own brand of skincare. The leegeeham Grow line is one of 4 different lines they carry, but they do have also products outside of these four categories. The grow line also includes a Hyal5 face cream and cica serum and cream.
Ingredients
The main ingredients they use in this line are 5 kinds of hyaluronic acids, pro vitamin B (panthenol), and glyceryl glucoside, which they aptly call ‘Hyal B5’. The five hyaluronic acids are hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, sodium acetylated hyaluronate, ascorbyl propyl hyaluronate, Hydroxypropyl trimonium hyaluronate, and sodium hyaluronate. This hyaluronic acid cocktail delivers moisture deep down into the skin, refines skin texture, treats dryness, and helps stimulate collagen production making your skin looking plumper and younger. Added to this is the Pro Vitamin B5 also known as Panthenol which helps lock in the moisture from evaporating. Glyceryl glucoside helps skin elasticity and stimulates aquaporins, water channels in cells.
Tumblr media
Toner
The toner comes in a clear heavy plastic packaging with a pump and a top cover. The liquid inside is a viscous formula, but when you rub it in it becomes a thinner liquid. It has a very faint herbal scent. The extracts that are in this toner are Ginseng fruit extract, vanilla fruit extract, Centella Asiatica extract, kava extract, burdock extract, and mushroom extract, and yam extract. It also contains oils, olive oil, white yam leaf oil, nutmeg kernel oil, carrot seed oil, cowpea seed oil, white chamois flower oil.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love thicker toners like this one, so I instantly fell in love with it. It does have a very slight sticky feeling, but because I have very dry skin my skin loves it! I don’t mind it because it’s the first step in my skincare routine. it absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn’t irritate my skin or eczema patches. I would recommend this if you like the Dear Klairs Supple Preparation Toner, personally I like the leegeeham one a little better because it’s suited more for drier skin types. For 120ml is costs 26,000KRW.
Tumblr media
Ampoule
This ampoule comes in the same style of packaging as the toner but with a dropper. The liquid is a thicker than the toner and the ingredients are pretty much identical as the toner with the exception of a handful of ingredients. So This is a bottle of a more concentrated level of the toner which is great since the toner is so good! However, the stickiness of the product is also increased. It spreads easily on the skin and absorbs quickly. The immediate finish is a bit sticky, but as it dries it lessens. Also because I will put on cream afterwards the stickiness is not much of a problem, it’s actually feels quite nice as it feels like it’s sealing in the moisture. For 30ml it costs 28,000KRW.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Last Thoughts
I would highly recommend this line to dry skin types and anyone who has seasonal dryness. The toner and ampoule are two items that can easily be added into your skincare routine. Having used the Hyal B5 and the Vita Propolis together it made my skin GLOW. I have tons of other skincare to review, but these products really made it hard for me to take a break after using them consistently for 3 weeks. I can’t wait to get back on it!

Bonus mask review!
The Hyal B5 Moisture Mask is also a great product. It doesn’t have all of the 5 Hyaluronic acid but still contains Sodium hyaluronate. It also has Ceremide NP, Centella Asiatica extract, and panthenol. The sheet mask is so soft and adheres well on the skin. The fit is nice and the effects are nothing short of great! Love the mask.

Hey Guys!
I am here with another K-Beauty Expo Review. I am wrapping things up this month so for the next several posts here and on my instagram it will be posts of the products that K-Beauty Expo has sent me to review. Pam’s Beauty & Business is a Korean skin specialist/cosmetics company with experience over 30 years. They sell Italian and German skincare as well. I will only be reviewing the Korean brand that they produce called Pam’s Spa. I received the TERRA VITA Volcanic Mineral Powder Mask, Water Drop Blue Solution 3 in 1 Ampule Gel Cream, Skinalle Anti Gravity Lifting Mask, and the Professional Derma Fluid. Shall we start?
TERRA VITA Volcanic Mineral Powder Mask
This comes in a very large box and it contains six individually packaged containers and a spoon. The packs are a bit hard to take out, I had to use the other end of my tweezers to pry it out from the plastic holder. Inside it contains 100% very fine volcanic mineral powder. It naturally stimulates ion exchange and is universally applicable to all skin types. It can be used as an intensive cleaning mask for face and body. It removes excess sebum and micro dust while firming, whitening and revitalizing the skin.
After adding a spoonful of water the texture will become like dirt. It’s like a very thin mud mask. Because it’s just water that you add to it it will dry up pretty quickly. I also found it a bit drying on my skin, but it’s because I have dry skin. So this works as a exfoliating face pack. I did notice that my skin looked clearer, smoother and softer. I think next time I will only put it on parts of my face and not all over, because I felt like I had to moisturize right away! For a box it costs 30,000KRW.
Water Drop Blue Solution 3 in 1 Ampule Gel Cream
The next item is the cream. It comes in a plastic jar. When I read ‘Blue Solution’ I didn’t think it was actually going to be blue! It kinda threw me off of using it because it of the color and the texture I really don’t like how it goes on my face. It’s the cyclopentasiloxane, a silicone based ingredient that gives it that slip. Also, the smell is quite strong, I want to describe it as a fresh aquatic smell. It not bad, but it lingers a while.
However, even with these shortcomings, it’s not a bad cream. It consists of more than 30% of moisture factors. Contains Blue Complex, which includes Chamomile, Borage, Lavender, Hyacinth, Clary Sage, and Cornflower. I don’t think I would recommend it though, the finish is a little bit too tacky for my taste. This cream is 39,000KRW.
Skinalle Anti Gravity Lifting Mask
Lifting anything is always a good thing, but with some products I’ve used in the past lifting masks always seem to be the most disappointing. The Skinalle mask doesn’t use any ear hooking hydrogel patches, thank God! This lifting mask contains albumin and human oligopeptide-1 for skin elasticity, collagen regeneration, and anti-wrinkle effects. It also contains 6 different kinds of Hyaluronic acid to moisturize the skin.
The mask comes in a regular mask pouch and instead of leaving the mask on for 20-30 minutes, you leave it on skin for 10-15 minutes and wash it off. If you don’t, like I did for 5 mins after taking it off, it will feel like actual glue and your eyelids will stick to itself. HAHAHA. Afterwards it feels tighter, but it’s not a miracle face lift. I think its worth a try though, for a box of 5 it costs 30,000KRW.
Professional Derma Fluid
Last on the list the the Professional Derma Fluid. This was a complete fail for me. I really think that it should be left for professional use. There are 4 types of vials, Purifying for acne and senstive skin, Moisturizing for dry and normal condition skin, Brightening for aged and pigmented skin, and Peptide for lifting. These glass vials come with no directions, so I wasted 2 vials and the third one the broken glass got stuck in the plastic tube thing, and I am not even going to with the last vial. I’m sure the fluid inside is awesome, but I can’t seem to open them correctly and also just thinking that there might be micro pieces of glass on my skin is a definite no-no for me. This is hard 20,000KRW pass from me.
Final Thoughts
Not my favorite review, but there were some ok ones like the Terra Vita mask and the Skinalle Anti Gravity Lifting Mask. The whole aesthetic of the brand doesn’t charm me and it needs an upgrade, and that’s my opinion. Overall it’s just an OK from me. You can visit their shop at http://www.pamsspa.co.kr/.

Tumblr media

Troiareuke In Depth Product Review- 'Pimples Be Gone!' ACSEN Selemix Serum
Hey Guys!
This is going to be a lengthy and detailed review on three Troiareuke products. I separated each product into 3 post because all together it was too long. So at the bottom there are links to the other two products! I hope that will be helpful for you guys to read and navigate.
This brand is a branch from a bigger company called MK Universal. They have other spa brand products and spa services including Troipeel. I was gifted the Acsen Oil Cut Cleansing, Acsen Selemix Serum, and the Skin Complex Formula (H+ Cocktail Anti-Trouble Formula Ampoule) from the brand. I was first introduced to the brand at the Seoul Blogger Brunch that I attended in September this year. I knew that they were a spa brand and many of their clients go to treat acne and different skin problems. I was also gifted the Acsen UV Protector Essence, but I haven’t tried it yet since I have so many sunscreens open right now. Anyway, let’s get on with the review.
Tumblr media
What’s with the name and what’s this brand about?
Troi-are-uke is a mouthful to say at first but after a while it rolls off the tongue. On their website they explain that -areuke means beginning in Greek, and with that they came up with ‘Troiareuke’ -the beginning with of prescription skincare cosmetics. They are proud of their 1:1 skincare prescription. I actually did a small survey and was matched with the Selemix Serum when they contacted me. They also take a holistic approach to skincare taking into consideration chromatherapy and aromatherapy.
ACSEN
Acsen is one of the Troiareuke skincare lines. It is a combination of two skin concerns, acne and sensitive. The main ingredient in this line is Centella Asiatica which is a great skin ingredient for skin recovery and regeneration. Another main ingredient is a combination of beansprout and magnolia tree bark which they call ‘Selemix An’, which is good for skin protection, recovery, and inflammation.
ACSEN Selemix Serum
This serum was sent to me for me to write a review some months after the Seoul Blogger Brunch. I was going to review this by itself, but I thought why not kill ‘troi’ birds with one stone! You get it? “Troi” is 3 in French and also it’s how the beginning of how Troiareuke is spelled… you know.. but since I have three products instead of 2.. birds.. yeah… ok. Anyway, I was a little confused when they sent me this serum since I told them I had very dry skin. I was a bit worried at first because whenever I think of ‘acne’ products that it was going to be drying. However, I had nothing to worry about! It claims to minimize skin trouble and reduce scars.
Tumblr media
This is serum contains the Selemix An (beansprout, magnolia tree bark) , sciadopitys verticillata extract (Japanese Umbrella Pine), Chamomile extract, Salicylic Acid, Centella Asiatica, and essential oils. The anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial ingredients are great for acne and sensitive skin types. This serum looks exactly like the Acsen Oil Cut Cleansing. The texture is very light and 2 pumps is how much I use each time to get a generous coating on my skin. It absorbs quickly without any sticky feeling. I get a nice hydrated feeling and it doesn’t irritate my ezcema patches either which is a major plus.
Tumblr media
I noticed that with this serum that any pimples I got went away much quicker than if I didn’t include it in my skincare routine. Especially when I use it before I start my period, when I get hormonal pimples here and there, it does a good job of controlling not only the amount of pimples I get but also the longevity of them, even if I’ve been bad and squeezed the crap out of it. I really think this is a really awesome product. The only down is the price. It is hella expensive… its 156,000KRW for 100ml, but they did come out with a smaller 40ml size for 62,000KRW. Would I buy this for myself though? I don’t think I would, and the only reason is that even though I think it’s a great product I don’t think my skin needs it that much for that amount of money. If you are having problems with acne and sensitivity and can afford it, do buy it! I don’t have anything bad to say about this serum.
Tumblr media
Bonus Mini Review: AGT Hydro Essence & Cell Energy Cream
With the Selemix Serum they sent some samples of the AGT Hydro Essence and Cell Energy Cream. The essence is a clear gel that helps with skin moisture levels and soothes the skin with 7 different oriental herbs and rooibos. This was also a nice treat. I can’t give you any significant results other than it was hydrating. The full size is 52,000KRW for 100ml. The Cell Energy Cream was also a nice sample. The cream is lightweight and is formulated with Galactomyces ferment and Bifida ferment to help with skin elasticity. It also has Hyaluronic Acid and Lactobacillus to moisturize the skin. I liked the cream a lot so I used up the sample pretty quickly. It absorbs nicely and gives your skin a light glowy coating. My skin felt very bouncy and filled up, I would love to try the full size for a longer length of time. The full size is 130,000KRW for 250ml.
They have a shop in Myeongdong across from exit 1 inside SkyPark Hotel and they have a Korean online shop.

Skin Complex Formula + Anti-Trouble Ampoule = Healing Cocktail
This was another gift I got from the Seoul Blogger Brunch. Funny story, I accidentally drank one of the ampoules because I thought it was a skincare drink! I think I drank the Cell Repair one… I didn’t feel sick afterwards, so that just goes to show that their ingredients are totally safe, even if you intend to one-shot it down your throat. Hahaha! I will always remember this experience.
The base liquid in which you add your desired ampoule is the Skin Complex Formula. This clear liquid is formulated with Pycnogenol which is an antioxidant that can be found in French Pine Bark, Pomegranate Extract, and Kava Extract. Pomegranate is a great antioxidant and Kava is a soothing plant ingredient. Each ampoule is a different color and have different effects. Green for calming, red for skin elasticity, yellow for brightening, and blue to help soothe and disinfect.
Tumblr media
So I got the green Anti-Trouble Ampoule to mix in my mist. The process is quite fun, it’s really like making a cocktail! The spray is not very fine, at first it was a bit alarming because of how much liquid it sprayed! It was a decent dousing on my face. The mist is SO GOOD. I really, really like it. My skin is immediately hydrated, I can use it with makeup on and it won’t disturb it, and when my eczema is flared up I spritz a couple times and it is immediately calmed.
Tumblr media
The mist is sold in two sizes, 60ml or 180ml and each ampoule is 10ml. The 180ml bottle can fill up to 2x10ml ampoules. I’m not sure if you can mix different ampoules or not. The 70ml option is (60ml+10ml) is 48,000KRW and the 200ml option is (180ml+10mlx2) is 100,000KRW.
They have a shop in Myeongdong across from exit 1 inside SkyPark Hotel and they have a Korean online shop.

ACSEN Oil Cut Cleansing
This was the first product I used, since I wear a whole lotta makeup everyday, so I am super into cleansing products. My first impression just reading the packaging was that it was gonna be weak sauce! I love oil cleansers and it’s my preferred method of removing makeup. So when I saw that it was oil-free, my expectation was low, boy was I wrong! This is seriously SO GREAT. I love this cleanser so much! Before I go on let me just go over the general info.
Tumblr media
The bottle contains 120ml, they do have a 300ml one as well, but I don’t think they sell the big one. The main ingredients are Papaya which is a natural exfoliant, Aloe Vera which calms and moisturizes, and Usnea extract (lichen) that is an anti-bacterial ingredient. It has a runny gel consistency and spreads easily over the face without any sticky or oily feeling. It uses a micro-emulsion technique that removes oil and dirt without irritating the skin.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is a great cleanser for everyone, especially those of you who want the makeup removing power of an oil cleanser but without the oily feeling. I squeeze a coin size amount into my hands I rub it in to my skin for a minute and wash it off with warm water. I don’t have to second cleanse, because it takes everything off. I was so surprised and amazed when I used it the first time. It was so gentle and not drying or irritating. I would totally buy this with my own money and I would recommend this one to anyone. The 120ml one costs 38,000KRW, it’s pricy but if you’re not having to double cleanse then in a way you’re saving money on buying another cleansing product and you’ll be saving time as well.

Hello everyone!
Thanks for joining me on another skincare review. Today I will be writing about one K beauty brand that specializes skincare for troubled, sensitive, and easily inflamed skin like eczema and photosensitivity. This brand is called Dr.Deep -Mineral House! I was really excited to try out their product when I received them in my K-Beauty Expo editor’s box. I have eczema on my forehead and neck and I’ve tried so many things to keep it under control. Some have worked, others made it worse. I’ve use it for over 3 three weeks and I’m ready to tell you all about it!
So before I start talking about the products I want to talk about the brand a little bit. Dr Deep is a natural mineral cosmetic that helps strengthen skin barrier by moisturizing and nourishing skin. It contains 30 kinds of minerals such as calcium. It helps to improve skin troubles such as atopic dermatitis, acne, psoriasis and water warts on children. The natural herbal ingredients they use helps soothe and moisturize sensitive skin. The formulate their products  without parabens, chemical surfactants, steroids, artificial flavors, and artificial preservatives
Aloe Soothing Gel
This was to me the the most mundane product out of the 4. Aloe to me is always a boring ingredient, but after reading the ingredient list I saw that it did have other ingredients as well. It contains 45% aloe juice from Jeju Island what moisturizes and relieves the skin. Fermented grain extracts (rice, soy, and millet) that are rich vitamins. It also contains fermented potato extract, ginseng extract, lavender and chamomile extract that relieves sensitive skin. Last notable ingredient was ceramide NP which helps builds skin moisture barrier.
#gallery-0-9 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-9 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-9 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-9 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
I can’t say anything bad about this product, it does what it does. It’s not sticky and has no added fragrance. You could use as a gel toner or as very quick and light pre-moisturizer. You can use this for face, hands, and body. You can smooth over a thick layer of the gel as a face pack. As a stand alone product it’s not enough for dry skin, so follow up with a thicker moisturizer. For 120ml it’s 16,000KRW.
ACPA Cleansing Foam
This was another product that didn’t stand out since it was an acne product. I do get pimples here and there, but nothing too serious. I always find acne cleansers very drying and irritating on my eczema patches. However this one is specifically made for sensitive skin types. So if you do have acne and sensitive skin you might want to consider this purchase. It has a low percentage of salicylic acid of 0.3%. It contains Aloe extract, green tea extract, chamomile extract, and calendula extract.
The packaging is a foam pump type so it’s super fast and easy to use. The foam that comes out is nice and frothy. This one doesn’t give your skin that squeaky feeling, but it still feels clean after rinsing! It has a pH level of 4.5-6.5. I wouldn’t use it to take makeup off but as a second cleanser. Afterwards my skin doesn’t pull or feel super tight. This cleanser is a good preventative and during time when I do breakout I can use it without worrying about how dry my skin will feel afterwards. You get 150ml/5.28 oz of product for 25,000KRW.
Acer Mono Sap Essential Skin
This next product is a toner. It comes in a frosted glass bottle with a screw-off top. It is made with Acer Mono tree (maple tree) sap. Acer Mono Sap is rich in Ca, Mg, amino acid, and vitamin A, C. Natural mineral water is a strong skin barrier. It also has Beta-glucan and sodium hyaluronate  improves skin elasticity and aloe vera extract and baobab seed extract help condition and moisturize the skin. There is no added fragrance and it was a watery texture. It very gentle so it will be great for sensitive skin types. It’s hydrating and soothing as well. I quite like it and I’m almost done with the bottle. This in’t a product that will give you drastic results, but it’s a very nice toner! For 120ml/4.22 fl oz it’s 36,000 KRW.
Propolis Synergy Serum
The last product is the Propolis Synergy Serum. The packaging when I first saw it was a little disappointing, but they did changed the packaging! I think it looks much better. 70 percent of the Serum is Propolis extract! Propolis extract prevents and improves skin damage by strengthening the skin barrier. It is also formulated with natural ingredients like lactobacillus, white willow bark extract, oregano leaf extract, sea buckthorn, female ginseng, and others that are rich in ingredients of Omega-3, fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals.
#gallery-0-10 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-10 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-10 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-10 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
The texture is a watery gel with no sticky after feeling. It absorbs fast and has no noticeable scent. Skin feels lightly hydrated. I can’t feel a difference in my skin even after few weeks, but I don’t think it’s a bad thing. It hasn’t made my skin worse from using it. I like it because it is very gentle and soothing. For 100ml/3.52 fl.oz it is 42,000KRW.
Last Thoughts
If you have sensitive skin, this is a great brand to try out. If you already have great skin and not very sensitive skin you might want to pass because you will not notice a huge difference. However, that doesn’t mean that it’s not effective, but usually with skincare people want to see big results. This brand is quite subtle and will require more effort than other chemically formed skincare and cosmetics. You can check out more of their products  at www.minehouse.co.kr. Also, they have international shipping through Amazon.
