This is entitled today is a new day and also I think maybe this jumper is a bit too big after all! (And maybe also I bet no one even sees this as it’s so late to the grid!) ⁣ ⁣ Yesterday started off so well so positive. ⁣ Then we left the safety of our house, our village. ⁣ I thought it would be nice to head for a walk along the river and spot boats before picking up our grocery order. And to a point it was. ⁣ It was nice to grab an icecream, nice to wander freely around a ruined castle. It was nice to get fresh air and let the kids have a bit of a lead into where to go. (They wanted to see the castle) ⁣ However once we got back home tempers were not so nice! Things were thrown around. Toys and tech were taken. Angry outbursts were heard. ⁣ Not a good afternoon. ⁣ It didn’t get much better when we headed out to the drive in movie I’d booked and was so looking forward to. ⁣ I thought it would be great to have a bit of a change a different activity outside of our 4 walls. ⁣ Maybe it was too much in one day. The stress on all of us to “keep away from people”, keep the little two from touching, just be out and about staying safe, staying “alert”. Or maybe it’s because it just wasn’t quite enough adventure? ⁣ Anyway today is a new day. Let’s start again! ⁣ Clean the sheets (it really is clean sheet day) swap the maths for some road trip research and plan some other adventures. ⁣ ⁣ - I stole this jumper from my mum. It’s 3 sizes too big for me really but I thought oh it will look good baggy. But this picture doesn’t really do a lot for it/ me does it? Anyway. It’s comfy, it’s bright and I’m heading to 40 with the attitude this is me I’ll do me. Shorts might have been a little optimistic for today with thunderstorms predicted. It is a little chillier this morning too hence the hoodie for now. But breakfast in the garden is always a good idea. Fingers crossed the thunder storm is a short one and we can enjoy messing about in the garden again later. Maybe even dirty pizza alfresco?
