Shorts might have been a little optimistic for today with thunderstorms predicted. It is a little chillier this morning too hence the hoodie for now. Not a fan of the current storm, but it did give me an excuse to wear the hat I bought on a whim and forgot about 😊 I'm thrilled it's Friday as it means just one more day and daddy will be home with us. I love having Ben at home, he's such a wonderful dad and it's easy to see how much Lizzie enjoys spending time with him. While it breaks my heart that we decided to do shared parental leave and I'll have to go back to work in a month, I know that both Lizzie and Ben will massively benefit from having lots of quality time together. Good morning. I’m off to an event today! Well when I say off to an event I mean I’m virtually off to the @blogosphere_magazine creative day. I love me an event and this is as close to an actual event as I think you can get while at home. You can wander around a virtual arena, chat to people like you would at an actual event. (I’ll put some of the day in my stories). Anyway off to an event means getting dressed up with no where to go. Well I’ve stuck on my faithful orange and pink stripe skirt and a white t. I’ve even put in some earrings. It’s not even a video conference. But dressing for work or an event puts me in the right mood for the day ahead. Let’s do this. We’ve had a brilliant day adventuring around the south of the island today. First to Ventnor then to steep hill cove. Then back through Bonchurch. And finishing back around the east side at Bembridge. Back home now. After quite a lovely day. All be it all by my self! This was my #saturyaystyle for today. It was the only place I could take a photo other that the mirror in the toilet. In hidsight I think it’s probably a bit chilly for my beloved fandf skirt now. But I thought the theatre would be warm. (It was not). I’ve never really felt comfortable in my body until I lost a load of weight after having the last set of twins. I lost the weight due to me having gallstones and not being able to eat much. However after I had my gallbladder out old ways soon crept back and I’m now 10 months postpartum and 3 stone heavier than I was at 3 months postpartum. I feeling a bit self conscious again recently but I’m also trying to push comfort zone. I thought about doing a holiday look Book but it’s not really me. So I’ve just posted a couple of random outfits through the week. I love this shirt dress. It’s great for covering up by the pool hiding those wobbly bits that I’m a bit conscious of.
