I’m so proud of this painting, I started working on it just under a year ago and the final result has definitely been worth the wait. My rendering techniques and general art style evolved a lot over the course of this piece, and I hope yall love the finished result as much as I do! ^u^

I designed Grian as a raptor!

... ok, at this point it’s almost a whole separate character, but the basis is on c!Grian lol

I was inspired to do this by quite a few things, a big one being the design of Grian in TheMinecraftBee’s fic ‘This is About a Stuffed Bird’ and the way they turn him into an avian-dinosaur-like monster, but also I was drawing my fursona Ebeny (who is this same kind of fantasy/artistic liberty species of raptor) and wanted to try making another one

I really like this design and am definitely going to be keeping this character ^u^ (also if you couldn’t tell, the name “Pesk” is short for “Pesky Bird”)

The second box is labelled “Personality:” and contains the words: “mischievous; cheeky; creative; looks like a cinnamon roll, is a cinnamon roll but could also kill you”.

The background is a gradient from a desaturated cyan in the top left to a dull orange in the bottom right.
