“Today is the 22nd anniversary of Ed Freeman Photography most widely known and widely hated picture. When it first appeared on the cover of Frontiers Magazine in 2000, it went almost unnoticed. But years later, when Ed posted it online to celebrate the legalization of gay marriage, he got death threats, thousands of hate mails and was outed on Fox News the Washington Post and dozens of other newspapers worldwide. Today he said: " I'm very proud about most of the commotion it caused, but I suppose I could have done without the death threats..."
