“I enjoy using old objects and things that have gone to waste, so for my collection I have been “The Ragpicker” of my own project. I have been making my own archive and collecting things from society in London and outside, that has been refused, forgotten and lost”, __ Edda Gimnes

Edda Gimnes
Edda’s work is all about combining art and fashion into one big piece, her art ranges from big to small and is very pigmented, bright and bold with colours on a plain white canvas, none of it really is patterned and each design is unique, her pieces have been worn by many famous names and people and her work is a way of bringing art into everyday life, she makes everything such as makeup bags, rugs, clothes, sleeping bags and more. i want to bring the colours and the brightness and statement into my pieces as well and hopefully i will be able to do this through my hapazone drape and draw.

INSTAGRAM CHIC: LADY GAGA IN EDDA GIMNES
Las Vegas is welcoming Lady Gaga tonight for her “Joanne” World Tour. The singer spent some a day before just hanging around town and visiting a few spots with her team and Christian.
Gaga and her stylists Tom Eerebout and Sandra Amador love to shine the spotlight on emerging designers. She wore a few pieces from the Spring/Summer 2018 collection of Edda Gimnes.
The Trompe-l'œil-effect look comprises a canary yellow tulle coat, matching marabou feather boa scarf and leather handle purse. Underneath she rocked the strapless, flared dress with Trompe-l'œil belt and matching stocking boots.
Gaga’s beret is the Musician made by Goorin Bros in collaboration with Hills Hats for their “Uncharted” capsule collection.
The hat is hand-cut & sewn in Newark, New Jersey out of rich, marbled leather and features an inspired lining with original artwork by Lango Oliveira. Only 24 are made!
Her brown tortoiseshell cat-eye sunnies are the Emmanuelle by Illesteva. She wore the black & clear lucite version a few months ago.
