ELDAR PART 2: #5 EXODITES You know that army everyone says their going to do, and then you never see anyone doing it? You know that concept that seems kind of bizarre and niche, but is always kind of fun when you think about it? Lets cut the bull, do you know about the Exodites? Yeah you know the ones I mean. The Eldar who where smart enough from the get go to realize that shit was gonna hit that fan. And by hit we mean, the shit was a dirty nuclear bomb, and the fan was spinning at Mach 10, and no one within a 1 million light year radius of it was going to not get shit on them? The Eldar that if they had a proper army dex, would probably be Toughness 4, Strength 5 and could break an Aspect warrior over their knee? Well fear not, because the Chaos Druid is here to tell you how it may be possible to have these “Salt of the Earth” Style Eldar as a force. -First off, the lore. The Exodites as we all know, where those Eldar who, at the time before the fall realized what was going to happen, and after trying to tell the rest of their race that the liberal agenda was a bad idea, went fuck it and took off for the distant Eastern fringe of the galaxy. Abandoning much of what their race had achieved, these highly attuned seer like Eldar went and settled many a wild and dangerous world. You could say they where Mountain Men of their race. Minus the Buckskins. When establishing a concept for your army, it should be important to note these sorts of things, and mayhap research our own real world history, looking for those who left behind more advanced surroundings to wander the wilds and tame or become a part of their new surroundings. Besides, whats not to like when coming up with a how did your army tame mutha fuck’n dinosaurs for an army concept than to read about people who did much the same thing?
Tumblr media
-How to represent it? This is the big hurdle to Exodites. GW never did give these backwoods space elves a codex of their own (sometimes I wonder if they where meant to be a mirror to wood elves from WHF) and so you have to be able to work a little bit of magic to bring them to the table. There are two ways of doing this: 1: Use a community created and tested Codex. This one is pretty simple. There are loads of communities on the net who enjoy making non-official but professional quality dexs that never existed, or that did and got left behind. This can be a good place to start if your unsure what exact kinds of units and characters you want to try and represent on the table. 2: Do a “Counts as army.” While this may seem a bit less interesting than going out in search of a quality fan made dex, believe it or not, counts as armies and models are some of the funnest challenges in the hobby. After all, who says you have to stick to one area? When it comes to a race as wide spread as the eldar, you can use all kinds of lists to represent your Exodites. From IA books, to the various inner factions and old codexes, you have a wealth of pre-made stats and rosters for your army, and it may even inspire you to create a Home Brew Dex of your own for use with friends and fellow Exodite fans, it can even be a group project!
-Modeling. Ah yes the next big hurdle in your quest to make this awesome idea come to life. But lucky for us, in this day and age of vast miniatures Renaissance, your never short on companies who produce all sorts of models for use in creating your own flavor of Exodites. Even the GW ranges can be put together via the various universes and factions to give rise to a unique and conversion heavy Exodite host. It’s these kind of armies that GW once upon a time used to really try and get their community interested in. Your own imagination is the only limit when making a fully converted army, and since everyone likes Dinosaurs, dragons, and laser guns, well, who isn;t going to have plenty of models ripe for bits fodder and base construction?
Tumblr media
-So then next, whats your theme? After all, Exodites can be as various as their craftworld kin. They don’t all have to be from the same sort of planet, or even have the same sort of unit arrangement. Think first to yourself, what wild and possibly feral world has my army tamed and guards as their own? Are they Jungle style folk, Eldar survivalists of the deepest jungle worlds know to the galaxy who could give catachans are run for their money? Taming giant lizard like creatures and avian like Dinosaurs for use in war, while using mainly Stealth and Guerrilla style tactics against invaders, blending seamlessly into the Jungle foliage to strike while using the elements of their home world to wear down an enemy, Maybe they are a desert folk. Having traversed the sands of a barren wasteland planet in the style of Dune. (Dune….Eldar. Ok I may have to do this now) and have grown hardy and strong from the unforgiving conditions. Training and using burrowing and dangerous desert creatures such as serpentine lizards, Scorpion and draconic scalies of fire and ash to their use. Able to blend in and traverse the known ways of the sands to out maneuver and flank their foes foolish enough to come after them (and now I also want to watch Lawrence of Arabia). An alpine people would also not be a far stretch. After all we have seen plenty of Jungle Exodite concepts. So what about their Highlands dwelling kin? Eldar who live off the rock and timber of a giant temperate and sub arctic worlds. Strong of limb and able to survive the cold and wild temperaments of their chosen homes. Going into battle atop heavy plated and massive dino/prehistoric mammal like hybrids, battering their foes aside by ferocity and strength much like our own history’s hardy people of the mountains regions. Truly when creating an Exodite army, any hardy and primal like folk of our own world can serve as an excellent source for theme and character.
-And that leads us to story. Yet another thing that can have infinite possibilities based off your own imagination. Are your Exodites of the first migrations away from their Stellar Empire? The ancient and proud ones who fled the fall of their doomed race and have since held onto life and world for thousands upon thousands of years? Are you a young and newly aspiring tribe of Exodite travelers, having only just now in recent years and light of galactic events decided it best to leave the constraining confines of a Craftword and forge a new and hard destiny for yourself? Are you a sanctuary to Outcasts and those who have been forced or chosen to leave their homes in the Craftworld or even the Dark City. Do you dream of rising once again to dominance, or have you accepted the humble life of survivors and exiles. Are your Exodites proud warrior like people, given over to tribal customs of battle, honor and glory in combat? Or have you attempted to become a peaceful and conservative folk, only drawing a blade when pressed by outside forces. Do you count many of the ancient seers among your ranks, or do the physically strongest and most warlike lead you? Have you shunned all forms of technology or do you harbor much of your ancient relics and tech for use to give you an edge over your environment and enemies? Again, the sky is literally the limit with the number of ways you can forge your own unique brand of Exodites. That is, at the end of the day the fun of non-official, but canonical armies. #6 CORSAIRS Everyone’s thinking it I’m just say’n it. Pirates! Ah yes, corsairs. Eldar Corsairs no less. A throw back to the original concept of these ancient Space Elves from the Rogue Trader era, where the Eldar, much like Orks, and even Chaos were cast in a more “Raider, Pirate, Freebooter” light than as giant interstellar empires of their own. And if I may be frank, my favorite style of all Eldar. Corsairs are in a league of their own when it comes to lore and the table top. If Craftworld Eldar are the Boomer parents, and the Dark Eldar are the teen goth phase kids, while the Exodites are the redneck uncle you visit during summer vacation, then the corsairs are that cool older sibling who always seems to have a few rings in his ear, rocks out to old style metal music and owns some sort of sup’d up car you love riding in. Over the years the Corsairs have had many attempts at army lists and most have fallen by the way side with each passing edition. So what is a pirate to do? Break out your Space Rum and lets find out.
Tumblr media
-Find your inner Outcast. This is the best place to start. Of all the Eldar sub factions, Corsairs are considered the Outcast. Too liberal minded and self serving for the Craftworlds, not into back stabbing, court intrigue and BDSM which counts the Dark Eldar out, and still too fucking full of themselves to go and play salt of the earth farmer with the Exodites. In all things the Corsair is the embodiment of the classic pirate trope. Those who live outside law and country. Content to ply the stars and do as they wish, when they wish, and save their own skin above all else. This type of “Sandbox” mindset can be used to create an eldar force with limitless background, style and character possibilities.
-What sort of pirate be ye? That’s your next question. Being Self sufficient and serving, Corsairs fit just about any niche you can think of when it comes to reaver like style. This also means they can be found just about anywhere, with just about anyone. Are your Corsairs a club for eldar only? Or have they allied to other even more unscrupulous characters? Corsairs can be found raiding alongside the likes of Rogue Traders, other alien species, and even among chaos warbands and Ork freebootas! And the reasons are just as varied. Are your pirates proud Corsair Princes/Princess’, plying the stars on an ambitious mission of their own? Are they fallen from grace renegades who have or will fall in with any dirty crowd? Are they the ruler of a pirate kingdom all their own, or do they sail the stars in a single infamous vessel like pirate stories of old, ravaging and stealing as they desire? Are they survivors of a larger group of CW Eldar, hiding amongst Exodites and teaching them the old ways of your people while trying to accumulate enough power and followers to rebuild what was lost? The options are almost limitless when forging a narrative for your Corsair warband.
-What is your goal? In the end, many a Corsair is an individualistic character. Shunning the Narrow dogmatic path of the Craftworlds, and refusing to become a corrupted sadist like the Drukari, they live a life of self fulfillment and ambition. So what motivates your band of pirates? Do they seek a sporting challenge as arrogant reavers of the stars? Are they after the ancient glory of their Race’s past when they ruled over the galaxy? Maybe perhaps they are altruistic, and ally themselves with whoever they foresee being a benefit to the galactic order of things. Fame and fortune? Women and wine? A warrior code dedicated to Khaine, or another esoteric group of reavers worshiping the many faded or forgotten gods of the past? Nefarious allegiance to chaos, or maybe a darker order of things. Maybe perhaps just indulging your own hedonistic desires without care to share them with others. Again, a corsair can have many a goal, which makes for all sorts of unique concepts regarding your army.
-Models models models. Ah yes, models, and what to use for your physical army on the table? Fortunately we live in a time where not only is there quite an expansive range of Eldar style models, both official and third party, but there are other factions with models that can be used to further augment your Corsair warband. The options are many. Maybe you use a combination of CW and Dark eldar models to achieve a rough reaver/noble look.  You can also dip into the Human side of models, utilizing Necromunda and RT faction models to give your eldar a much more grounded and space faring/gang like look. Even fantasy Elven ranges can be used to boost a more primal look to your Eldar, or perhaps Out of the way factions like Mechanicus and Warcry warbands can be augmented with Eldar models to produce some very unique Tech mash ups or tribal like appearances. Not to mention older far more grim looking GW models from Ebay can be used to add a spice of old to your model ranges. However you choose to do it, make sure your models are cut apart from straight up CW or Dark Eldar style figures. After all, your above that kind of crap.
Tumblr media
-Now we come to the final question, how do we play this army? As I mentioned before, there are older Corsair lists under official publishing one can use, as well as no doubt a bevy of fan made content. Like the Exodites, the Corsairs can easily be used as a counts as force, with even more options as you can pull from a number of different books in order to create homebrew allies and piratical alliances with your army. Once you have down how to create a list, its time to ask, how will yours be a unique pirate band? The cornerstone of any crew of pirates is Speed. After all, no need to hang around and risk your own neck am I right? This luckily is the Eldar’s forte, and can be done in numerous ways without too much overlap. On one hand, taking advantage of Eldar Air power is an awesome idea for Corsairs. Not only have they used in pass incarnations many of the powerful aircraft of the Eldar race, including the feared Void Dragon, other smaller editions have been made of time such as the handy Wasp, and fast moving Jump pack corsairs. Building off this concept, corsairs can utilise the various armies of the Eldar to kick into high gear. Between the DE and CW books, there is a wealth of fast moving raider vessels, teleporting and deep striking units, as well as high initiative and deadly close combat infantry. Depending on your list and homebrew rules, you may even have options to add other races in for flavor, such as Ork Meatshields…..I mean Ork allies that are very useful and cared about. Human RTs that can use various codex designs to function as an extra bulwark of strength and toughness and even Chaos elements if your feeling like you need the warp on your side. Maybe your corsairs favor Jetbike and light attack craft tactics and are made up almost completely of such units, along with jump infantry to help support your already fearsome maneuverability. There’s even ways to create an Eldar Corsair force that deploys almost exclusively from Deepstrike, entering the table at any point, ready to strike the enemy’s weak spot or run circles around their more cumbersome units. Always remember the enemy can;t hit back if they never see you coming, or are too slow to catch you!
It can be said, if the Exodites are a Modeling enthusiast’s dream, then the Corsairs are Narrative army creator’s playground. Enjoy Pillaging the stars fellow pirates! I can only hope this lengthy entry has given some of you new perspective or even just revivied old ideas on how to create and Eldar army of unique or simply enjoyable design. Sometimes I do feel as if Eldar are bottlenecked into repetative lists and story styles that leave little to customize, and rarely seem to fire the imagination. So really, these Pointy Eared ones arn’t just simple ELVES IN SPACE. There is little limit to what one can make of so many different aspects of this once great and powerful race.
As Always, Happy Hobbying!

Meta: Personality Analysis
Disclaimer: I, in no way, am a psychologist nor claim to be good at this. This is purely for fun, and for character growth. Also, this is based on the way I write Kamui/Corrin. Some of her personality is divergent from canon, due to past interactions in the four+ years I’ve written her.
Edited: August 15th, 2020
Also this got even longer and I’m sorry.
Enneagram: Nine
Nines are accepting, trusting, and stable. They are usually creative, optimistic, and supportive, but can also be too willing to go along with others to keep the peace. They want everything to go smoothly and be without conflict, but they can also tend to be complacent, simplifying problems and minimizing anything upsetting. They typically have problems with inertia and stubbornness. At their Best: indomitable and all-embracing, they are able to bring people together and heal conflicts.
MTBI: ENFJ “The Protagonist.”
Protagonists are natural-born leaders, full of passion and charisma. Forming around two percent of the population, they are oftentimes our politicians, our coaches and our teachers, reaching out and inspiring others to achieve and to do good in the world. With a natural confidence that begets influence, Protagonists take a great deal of pride and joy in guiding others to work together to improve themselves and their community.
Four Temperaments: Sanguine
Your temperament is sanguine. The sanguine temperament is fundamentally spontaneous and pleasure-seeking; sanguine people are sociable and charismatic. They tend to enjoy social gatherings, making new friends and tend to be boisterous. They are usually quite creative and often daydream. However, some alone time is crucial for those of this temperament. Sanguine can also mean sensitive, compassionate and thoughtful. Sanguine personalities generally struggle with following tasks all the way through, are chronically late, and tend to be forgetful and sometimes a little sarcastic. Often, when they pursue a new hobby, they lose interest as soon as it ceases to be engaging or fun. They are very much people persons. They are talkative and not shy. Sanguines generally have an almost shameless nature, certain that what they are doing is right. They have no lack of confidence.
Moral Alignment: Chaotic Good, "Rebel"
A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society.
Chaotic good is the best alignment you can be because it combines a good heart with a free spirit.
Chaotic good can be a dangerous alignment when it disrupts the order of society and punishes those who do well for themselves.
Astrology: Taurus
Strengths: Reliable, patient, practical, devoted, responsible, stable
Weaknesses: Stubborn, possessive, uncompromising
Taurus likes: Gardening, cooking, music, romance, high quality clothes, working with hands
Taurus dislikes: Sudden changes, complications, insecurity of any kind, synthetic fabrics
Practical and well-grounded, Taurus is the sign that harvests the fruits of labor. They feel the need to always be surrounded by love and beauty, turned to the material world, hedonism, and physical pleasures. People born with their Sun in Taurus are sensual and tactile, considering touch and taste the most important of all senses. Stable and conservative, this is one of the most reliable signs of the zodiac, ready to endure and stick to their choices until they reach the point of personal satisfaction.
Taurus is an Earth sign, just like Virgo and Capricorn, and has the ability to see things from a grounded, practical and realistic perspective. They find it easy to make money and stay on same projects for years, or until they are completed. What we often see as stubbornness can be interpreted as commitment, and their ability to complete tasks whatever it takes is uncanny. This makes them excellent employees, great long-term friends and partners, always being there for people they love. Earthly note makes them overprotective, conservative, or materialistic at times, with views of the world founded on their love of money and wealth.
The ruler of Taurus is Venus, the planet of love, attraction, beauty, satisfaction, creativity and gratitude. This tender nature will make Taurus an excellent cook, gardener, lover, and artist. They are loyal and don't like sudden changes, criticism or the chase of guilt people are often prone to, being somewhat dependable on other people and emotions they seem to be unable to let go of. Still, no matter their potential emotional challenge, these individuals have the ability to bring a practical voice of reason in any chaotic and unhealthy situation.
Taurus – the Wandering Bull Being the one who betrayed their best friend, goddess Hera herself, this is an unfortunate being that has to wander the Earth in order to find freedom. As if something was always poking them behind their back, reminding them of happiness that once was, stinging and pushing forwards, they close up in their own worlds, lonely and separated from their core. To find love, a Taurus has to travel the world, change perspective or make a shift in their entire belief system and their system of values.
Conclusion:
There are some contradictions in these results, but overall, it is her at a basic premise. She tends to be very strong with her foundations, doing whatever she can to keep by them. Most of the time, she will listen to what others have to say, for they can hold more wisdom than her. However, there are just some things that she won't change on. Her Nohrian family knows this the most, and there are some thing that they've tried to change about her. Especially Leo ( sorrcerii ).
When it comes to the vices, she holds those in as much as possible. The insecurity, the side of her that may be uncompromising -- her reaction to sudden change that isn't what she planned for. Things like that. As a tactician, she likes to be as many steps ahead of her enemy as possible. In mundane life, she tries to put that side of her away. But there's always going to be a part of her that takes notice of every little thing. She notices how someone reacts to a gift, a conversation, and logs it away. However, unlike the standard, she tends to be rather lenient. She's also like clay; she picks up on traits. For example: because of Jeanne's ( noircisaint ) influence, she has more of a backbone than the 'standard' Avatar. With Zero ( echoedfates ), more of her playfulness comes out. He’s shown her that it’s OK to be a bit of a prankster -- well, more than she was before -- and it’s OK to put the title away when it’s just them. That there’s a difference between ‘princess’, ‘general’, and ‘wife’.
In her Type Moon verses, Makoto ( dekirukoto ) and Yi ( einhcrjars ) have taught her it’s OK to let her guard down. Especially while in Chaldea, and around them. That it’s OK to love, and even though it may hurt when they are returned to the throne, that things don’t have to stay at a standstill. That, hey, it’s OK to be you -- even more now than you were.
However, that doesn't mean she'll bite the bullet on it's first fire, and will always try to resolve a conflict before it arrives. Her anger is one of a slow fire, unless you pour the right amount of gas.
Kamui also holds in a lot more than most people. Even around those she calls her confidants and her retainers, she rather watch herself burn and suffer than those around her. She's very much a 'the world must be saved instead of myself'. Yet, over time, she's grown to understand that some people don't deserve it. Later on in the game, and depending on what route/verse, she will show some aggression to those who she deems deserves it. Which, as we know, is extremely small. ( Base game alone, Anankos, Hans, Garon, and Iago are the ones who get no special treatment from Kamui. And if she's acting nice, it's an act. )
There are times where she’ll return to a child-like state as well. There were many things that she didn’t get to experience, which lead her to have an imaginative mind and, at first, such a naive personality. Even during and after the war, she still retains it, since it’s so ingrained. It’s hard to ignore, hard to hide, but over time she comes to accept it. This is why she’s always reading; always wanting to learn; always wanting to experience what others have. A void can only be filled so much.
However, even though she may not seem it, she is rather intelligent. Because of lack of human contact outside of her retainers and teachers, she can come off as an 'airhead' or 'aloof'. Over time, that fades, and her true colors begin to shine more. She's able to find hoops she can jump through, but only will if the time seems right. Calculating outcomes begins to come second nature to her.
This is especially true when in Conquest, where she goes and knocks out almost all the Hoshidan soldiers she fights, just to put on a show for King Garon. In the end of that route, TECHNICALLY, she committed treason and blasphemy against Nohr. But thanks to Xander, she was absolved, and history wrote it to be that King Garon was dethrone on the basis of madness and insanity, dying in a battle in the Hoshidan capital.
And that’s it on this segment of, “Carrie adores Kamui too much, and has a problem.” Back to your regularly scheduled fluff! Thank you for reading this, and I’m sorry this turned out so long. asdfg

Prompt 3 - Write a story that begins with an alarm clock going off.
5/11/18
This blog is a part of a series of prompts that I’m using to write more often, taken from the book The Writer’s Block by Jason Rekulak. I pick one from a random page, and see where it leads. I was inspired by some friends doing art challenges, so, I made a writing challenge for myself. Enjoy!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Taking Off “AAANK!!!!! AAANK!!!!! AAANK!!!!! AAANK!!!!!”
The alarm clock’s audible assault of sound bounced off the walls of James’ bedroom, shattering his sleep, and the peaceful silence. Eyes wide, he flung his covers to the floor and galloped across the room. He punched the button a few times, making sure the clock had no chance at coming back to life, but the red numbers on the digital display were enough to keep him awake: “2:30 A.M.”
His flight for California left at 6:00 a.m. and that was after a 2 hour drive to the airport. He’d packed the night before, but the excitement of the trip had kept him awake for most of the evening. Three hours of sleep would have to do for now, and maybe a quick shower would provide an energy boost.
Groggy, James yawned, grabbing a few things on the way to the bathroom, the sounds of a television in the living room fading in the background as he walked down the hall. His friend Paul had been staying with him and offered to drive him to the airport, then house sit for a few days. Paul currently had no place to stay or job, and was thankful to help out and have a place to crash. James, meanwhile, thought he might get some sleep in the car on the way. “We should have plenty of time. I’m ready when you are, man” Paul said casually, watching a show about alien abductions, his feet comfortably wiggling side to side on the coffee table. “Hm? Mmmm….yuh” James grunted, not awake enough to form words yet. After throwing his laptop bag and a backpack in the backseat, they jumped on the highway. James’ mood alternated between excitement for the trip and ignoring his body’s demand for more sleep. Paul’s sea-foam green Accord rocketed down the highway, racing to Hobby Airport in Houston. The lack of other drivers at this time of night made the trip a lot smoother, but it didn’t keep James from checking his phone incessantly, wondering how long the TSA line would take. After his shower, a stop at a drive-thru, and getting gas, they had left at 3:15. Plenty of time
As they got closer to the airport, the highway started to converge into what looked like a smaller city. All lanes led to the airport,  the tail-lights of cars ahead dotting the way forward, making it their only destination for the upcoming exits. “Gate B, that’s where I’m headed” James said, checking his itinerary. “Got it. And in record time!’ Paul replied, always priding himself on his ability to drive faster than others around him. James was happy to make it in one piece and thought that his friend was really racing himself, the other drivers always unaware they had entered his imaginary competitions. James grabbed his bags, and started toward the entrance. “See you in a few days man! Don’t have any wild parties without me” he smiled, knowing that his friend would at worst raid his fridge. “Orgy at your place? Got it. Have a safe trip!” Paul shouted back, driving away to possibly break a land speed record. James checked his phone to see “5:23 A.M.” staring back at him. He rounded the corner and saw Gate B not far away, with a line that stretched around the corner. There had to be at least 60 people waiting, to funnel into 4 lanes at the TSA check-in. After 10 minutes of standing in the same place, James could hear the grumblings of others that this “was ridiculous” and “how could they not have more staff here?” He moved to see the head of the line, where one lone, elderly woman in a TSA uniform,
slowly….
inspected…..
every……
one. At this pace, he would be lucky to get to the head of the line in time. He started to hear people discussing their flight times, most of which were later. Wondering if it would work, he said, a bit too loud “I’ll never make my 6:00 o’clock. I NEED THIS JOB!” “Your flight is earlier than mine. You can go ahead of me, if it’s ok with everyone else?” said a man, further ahead in line. Several people between shaked their heads yes, and miraculously, waved James ahead of them. “THANK YOU! I really appreciate it!” he said, moving up a bit. A few more people started asking about times, pointing at James saying “I think he needs to go ahead. His is at 6” He moved up further, until he was behind a woman, with long dark hair, about 10 spots away from the front.
“5:45 A.M.” his phone display reported to him.
Several TSA agents showed up then, and started to get the lines flowing. “I can’t believe this line. I have to be on this flight in 15 minutes and I’ve been here forever”, said the woman in front of James. “Me too” he said. “Wonder if they would make an exception for us..” James trailed off out of ideas. The woman turned and he saw that she was around his age, in her early 20s and stunning; her skin an olive complexion, her eyes large, brown and right now, concerned. James was alert and trying to think fast. He’d gotten this far. What was the next solution to this? The line moved up quickly and the woman was next. She turned to James, “So, we need to both get on this flight.  I wonder if we can get out of line together?” James, without thinking, blurted out “Maybe if we were married?” and laughed nervously. Did I really just say that? he thought, wanting to teleport back to the safety of his bed. “Yes! That’s it. You’re my husband when they call me up. Good idea!” she replied. James, shocked that she agreed, responded “Well, let’s catch...our….flight”
The TSA agent waved for the next person to step up, and they both rushed to the checkpoint. James, on only his second flight ever, hadn’t been paying attention to the process of removing shoes and belts. They both rushed through the motions, he grabbed his belt and shoes in hand, slung his bags across his shoulder, and they made a dash to the gate around the corner. “Come on!” the dark-haired woman said to James, who was making a mental note to cut down on drive-thru from now on, as he struggled to make the short jog. They rounded the corner, to see an airline employee walking away from a closed terminal door. “6:05”, the clock above the door taunted them, with this update. After pleading with the woman at the gate, they were told that the doors couldn’t be opened but they would be placed on the next immediate flight, in an hour. They agreed and exchanged their boarding passes. After plopping down on some nearby seats, James started to put his shoes on, the mystery woman sitting next to him. “I’m Nashita, by the way” she said, extending her hand. “James. Nice to meet you.” “Well, James, we have an hour to kill. Want to get some overpriced snacks from the bookstore over there?” “Let’s go for it. I’m not going anywhere anytime soon” After leaving the bookstore, they sat, and watched others shuffle through the airport for a few seconds. Nashita turned to him. “So, why was my new fake husband in such a rush? Where are you headed to?” she raised an eyebrow, waiting for his response. “Well, I’m heading to San Francisco for a job opportunity, and vacation really. Sight-seeing, tourist stuff, but mainly want to land this writing job for a tech company.” “Ooh, a writer, huh? Anything I might have read?” James hesitated, chuckling to himself, “Well, not yet, unless you follow my blog and random freelance stuff I’ve been doing for a while. I’ve been reviewing movies for sites, and writing my own stuff on the side. This job is a chance at a full-time position, in a city I’ve never been to. And, I figured, I might as well see Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. What about you?” Nashita nodded “Well, good luck with that. I’m heading to L.A. I have some friends that meetup every year. It started as a birthday party for one of my best friends, and now, we just make it a point to get together since we don’t see each other often.”
“Sounds like a good excuse to have a party” James said, fumbling with his water bottle, for the first time, not concerned with what time it was. He found himself hoping if anything, the morning would slow down, so he could talk with her more. “We….know how to have a good time” Nashita laughed, brushing her hair back and getting as comfy as she could, in the plastic airport seat. She told him that her parents owned a few stores in the Houston area and of her plans to go to law school. He shared with her a lifelong interest in writing, and how it was something he’s always done, no matter what regular job he had to pay the bills; writing was always a constant. He scribbled down his personal blog site for her to check out and they noticed the hour was almost up. They boarded the next flight, and sat together. James, again was met with happiness to be on his way, but now wished they shared the same destination. He couldn’t remember the last time he so interested in just talking to someone, especially a stranger. He usually went out of his way to avoid social interaction, never knowing what to say. Words seemed to be more useful when he had time to edit them, but he’d found her delightful and easy to talk to.
Nashita took the window seat and they sat, waiting for the flight to take off. The woman in front of Nashita, leaned her seat back, just enough to make getting up a chore. As James started to laugh, the seat next to him was taken by a large man, his elbow spilling over into James’ seat and ribs. Nashita covered her mouth, and tried to suppress her amusement at James’ discomfort. They sat there for a bit, laughing at being trapped together, on this unexpected flight.
They talked more on the plane, and laughed secretly at the random activity around them. The woman in front of them had fallen asleep, the human bookend guy on the other side seemed to be engrossed in the newspaper, making occasional grunting sounds in response to the headlines, and an older lady was losing a verbal fight with her son, threatening to dispense justice when the plane landed.
The plane stopped in Phoenix for a few transfers. Nashita exited first, and quickly got lost in the shuffle. James figured she was off to her terminal and  was surprised to see her waiting for him as he exited. They started walking through the airport, and realized their gates were in different directions. James stood for a second, watching Nashita pause, smiling back at him. “Well, I’m heading this way” she gestured with her purse. “It was nice missing a flight with you” James grinned, “Yeah. You too. We gotta do it again sometime...I mean” He had no idea what he was saying. The moment made him nervous a bit. Hell she made him nervous, but in a good way. He wondered if he should ask for her number, her Facebook, social media of some kind…? He hadn’t done this in a while. “Good luck with the writing gig. Maybe I’ll get to read it someday!” Nashita said, disappearing around the corner. James stood there, realizing he had to head to his gate too, or he would definitely be sitting in Phoenix, without her this time. He also wondered why he was thinking so damn much. He flew around the corner that Nashita had just taken.

Sketchy Behaviors | PACOLLI (San Francisco,CA)
Working as a producer in MTV Brazil, self taught artist Patricia Colli (Pacolli) started out hand drawing her own calendars and silk screening her own shirts. Making her own way through a mostly male dominated São Paulo art scene, Pacolli's natural creativity, unique eye for color and composition, and ear for the lyrical made her work stand out from the rest. Not only did her colorfully spastic, psychedelic, and angsty work catch our eye, but also her “go-getter” attitude and DIY ethic which permeates in everything she does: from silk screening her own gear, self publishing her zines, managing her online shop, High In The Bay to the recent opening of her new art space–Bendgy in Brazil.  We got to chat with this chill artist about her new space Bendgy, her artistic processes, and about the magic of zines.
Photographs courtesy of the artist.
Keep calm, read on!
Introduce yourself  My name is Patricia Colli, but people call me Pacolli (it doesn't really have a funny story behind the name, it was just my first email because i wasn't much of a Patty and I had a band with my friend Ronaldo who introduced me to everyone as Pacolli, eventually I stopped fighting it and embraced it, it's like a one name thing like Cher and I like Cher). I'm 35, born in São Paulo (Brazil) and I live in San Francisco, California with my husband and also artist Mildred.
What’s the first thing you remember drawing?  How did you first get interested in art and making art? I remember drawing a house in the hills when I was in school and the teacher said that wasn't really good, I went to an italian catholic school in Brazil and they were not a fan of arts. Maybe that's why I started, in a very shy way, to go around it and start drawing all the time. I didn't like school from day one so I started drawing during classes to escape from it. In 7th grade I started drawing the guys that my friends and I had crushes on and passing them during class, we would laugh so much because the drawings were really sketchy and they were all about skipping class to go see them and skipping class to go to concerts, getting fake IDs and being crazy, recklessly teenagers!I always kept something like a sketchbook journal through the years and eventually they started to become zines, and then t-shirts...
What’s your artistic process like? Do you keep a sketchbook or doodle everywhere you go? I do keep a sketchbook with me at all times, and I make a lot of lists of things to draw. I also write down funny/interesting things I heard or read somewhere. I like to take my time to come up with an idea and daydream as much as I can about it before doing it. I like the process of coming up with something and letting it reveal itself as I go on. It's like finding something about yourself there.
How did your life go from drawing as a hobby to drawing as a career? I used to work on MTV Brazil as a producer and I used to make my own calendars with a big drawing on top, my co-workers used to make copies of those to use them too... I thought it was cool that people liked it but I never thought I could do this for a living. A couple years went by and I started screen printing some t-shirts and got invited for a fashion art show in Antwerp (Belgium). It was funny cause I started being asked to participate in art shows and collaborative zines in Europe but never in Brazil, so it was like a fun side gig to me. Eventually I started getting some freelance illustration/t-shirt design gigs/art shows in Brazil and abroad and gave up my tv job, started traveling where my art was taking me and it took me to San Francisco where I am since then.
What are some of the hardest challenges you have faced as an artist and how did you overcome them? It was hard to manage the ups and downs of the job and understand that's how it goes, sometimes you get called to make a bunch of shows and gigs at the same time and sometimes it feels like there's nothing happening for months to end... so I like to make things happen when I have these slower times, experiment different mediums, collaborate with other artists, start a new personal project and be productive. It's important to keep a perspective about those things and to not compare your path to anyone else cause that won't help. I tend to get anxious if I don't have projects lined up, but if there are no opportunities you have to create them yourself.
You have some many various types of characters – heart shaped people, coffee cup personalities to rabbit / cat people.  What’s the inspiration behind some of them and do they all sort of have personalities? I guess I see faces everywhere lol, drawing humans is challenging! I make myself laugh sometimes when I'm drawing strange creatures that don't exist doing humane things, it's like it's ok for them to look a bit off because there's nothing to compare them to, you know? I like drawing these characters with human feelings but not in a human form because it's more fun and freeing. Sometimes I make these creatures inspired by my friends, I drew the album cover for my friend's band Polara and we used to drink so much coffee all the time, I thought the best way to go about was to draw a bunch of espresso coffee cups dancing like crazy and dizzy bumper cars cause that's how you feel listening to their music after all that coffee!
It’s always really cool to see you printing your own stuff from shirts to stickers  When did you first start silk screening and printing your own things? Has the process evolved for you? I had some friends that screen printed t-shirts and I knew the basic process of doing it, so one day I decided to try one myself and I fell in love with the process and results. It was like playing with stamps all over again (I played with stamps and stickers my whole childhood). Since I was self taught in a way, I didn't know what I was doing...so I started to print things a bit different, not doing the same image over and over. I got a small squeegee and I took my time printing each drawing at once and composing a different story behind each tshirt. I became a screen hoarder!, I never throw them away (unless if they're clogged but I don't let it happen much) and bring them from Brazil - i know, it's crazy! I found my happy place doing these 1/1 prints, it gives me new ideas every time I'm printing, I see new possibilities and experiment without fear, it's very calming and exciting at the same time.
How many zines have you self-published?  How did you first start creating your own zine? I self published six zines so far, my intention was to publish at least one every year but I've been slacking on that goal. I had too many sketchbooks full of drawings, my friends would tell me to do something with them and I was always shy and a bit embarrassed about sharing personal things, one of my friends called me out that all I like a lot from other artists are personal and maybe embarrassing things lol.. so yeah I had no excuse anymore! Reading Jeffrey Brown, Vanessa Davis and Esther Pearl Watson really encouraged me to make my own zine at that time! They're work is very personal and it was definitely an inspiration to me!
What is it that you love so much about zine culture?   I think it's a very specific kind of subject that you couldn't find anywhere else (before the internet got huge). I started reading music zines about underground indie and punk bands. I think I still see it in the same way, a place to put on specific things you don't find anywhere else. I'm really into checking out the paper and print style, small editions with something handmade or hand drawn on it always get my attention. They're hard to find these days! Fun Chicken (the online shop from Mark Todd and Esther Pearl Watson) have really cool zines and I'm always checking Fudge Factory Comics (Travis Millard's online store) cause there's always cool zines. Well everything they have is amazing!
What have been some of your favorite collaborations? What do you enjoy most about them?   I collaborate a lot with my husband, he's been making art and zines for a long time too and every now and then I'll sneak one of our collabs in my zines and vice versa. It's important to have some intimacy with whoever you're collaborating with so you can say what you really think. It's fun to do it and I always learn something from the experience.
Is there a medium you want to try and haven’t?  What is currently your favorite medium and why? I got a wood burner from my in-laws last christmas and I haven't tried yet, it's sitting next to me and I'm very excited to try it out.I really like painting with acrylics and india ink on wood panels, there's so many possibilities and room for trial and error.
What are your top 5 artistic influences, past and contemporary?  When I saw Dan Clowes comics for the first time, it changed my life! The way he draws and portrays the world was so new but so familiar in a way... he's a huge influence to me because it sparkled my interest in expressing myself through drawing. The same happened when I first saw the art of Clayton Brothers, I realized art could be so cool!! Their paintings and drawings blew my mind, I have never seen anything like that... I remember trying to like mainstream art like Picasso and Mondrian but I truly didn't have an emotional connection to any of these guys, I knew that I felt different when I saw Clayton Brothers in the cover of Juxtapoz in 2004. It was hard to find this kind of art in Brazil, and still is! Keith Haring went to São Paulo in the 80's and painted murals, he was on the tv and I thought he was such a cool guy. My mom gave me a calendar with his drawings on it and I loved it and kept it for years! Same thing happened when I discovered Warhol, his persona was always intriguing to me and it made me like his art even more. I grew up watching and reading Peanuts, so I don't think I can leave Charles Schultz out of this list. I don't separate comics from art, they have the same impact for me. I love his ability to create his own world and still being completely relatable, it's also kind of simple but extremely complex at the same time.
There’s an autobiographical nature and intimacy to a lot of your works because they come from feelings and experiences you’ve had or gone through or thought.   Can you talk a little bit of maybe you’ve used some bad experiences in your life to create art from that has been maybe therapeutic?  I feel like since my first sketchbooks were sort of journal like, that I've always had this relationship with drawing and letting emotions out... and it's therapeutic, cheaper than therapy as I always say! It's hard for me sometimes to not let it out, so I don't hold back anymore. It's funny cause the more embarrassed I am of something ultra personal that I drew, the more I get people to write me and say they really liked it. My first two zines were miserably sad ("I thought it was a love story" and "Mad for Sadness") I didn't know what to do with myself so I put together a zine with all those feelings. It kept me busy, which is usually a great thing, and a few years later I got emails from these teenage high school girls from San Francisco telling me their teacher showed my zine in class (!!) and they thought it was a good way to survive a heartbreak. I thought it was so sweet! I never thought about it before, you know? Sad things will happen anyway but how you deal with them is up to you.
What common misconception do you think folks might have about being an artist or making art for a living? I think the internet makes things look easier and more glamorous than they really are. I grew up seeing cartoonists drawing and being a bit miserable like Robert Crumb. Have you seen the documentary "Crumb"? I knew it wasn't easy being him and doing what he was doing, maybe it made me have even more respect for his work. He never tried to portray any glamour about being an artist and I think it's more like the real thing. These days people don't care for struggle, they seem to always want the easy way and that's not how art goes most of the time so I think it's funny and sad in a way. People rip off your work and forget you're a human too, trying to survive in this messy world.
What do you do to overcome those days when nothing you’re making is turning out right? What do you like to do in your off time? I like to read books when I don't know what to do with myself, it helps me to shift the focus and get into something else than my own drama. It helps me with anxiety and always sparks new ideas. Going to concerts and playing drums are my other escape tools for living a better life, music is magic... the power of live music is amazing, going to concerts is one of my favorite things to do!
Tell us about your recent trip to visit Brazil.  When you lived there, you used to do some events called Bendgy. Can you tell us how they came about and how your recent visit went? I lived in São Paulo for 28 years, it's a huge city with a lot of cultural things happening all the time, the pace of the city is maddening and it's hard to keep focus sometimes, but regardlessly it's where i'm from and I love it! I started throwing an art party/concerts in my apartment when I started to make tshirts around 2006-2007. It was a very low profile thing, just for friends and just for fun... i didn't wanted to reach out to places that already existed and try to sell my art because it was weird... so I started something unpretentious to do what I was doing and that's Bendgy! It was an art party with a concert Saturdays afternoon in my apartment, i would sell beers, vegan sandwiches and tshirts. A lot of my friends are musicians so I wanted to have a band and we would support each other, it started getting bigger and I was scared of the risk of being kicked out of my apartment for the loud noise and amount of people coming in...I threw a few Bendgys at my friends places and eventually my dad moved out of his house and it was empty for a while, I started throwing bigger concerts there and it was so much fun!
How is Bendgy now? I just came back from SP and it was a long process but now Bendgy is a real art space, I got a great staff and we open every Saturday! We're having an international art show called "Hit the ground running" with the art of Albert Reyes, Jason Vivona, Jeff Roysdon, Mats!?, Mildred, Michael Hsiung (you!) and myself! In addition to the art show, there's a zine/print/tshirt/stickers shop and we have more affordable things from all the artists in the show and from other great artists from the US, Argentina and Brazil. I'm stoked that it turned out the way it did! It was so much hard work putting it together, I thought I was going crazy.. i felt like Donal Duck, but it was worth it!I book every band and make almost every flyer for it, so it's like I'm there but I'm not.
During your time living in São Paulo, Brasil, what was the art scene like?   It was most like an all boys club to be honest. Graffiti and pixação (São Paulo style of tagging) were the underground art that I liked but always made by guys, some really talented ones too! Like, Os Gemeos still blow my mind and were always a reference for me to what brazilian art is, even though they are more respected as artists outside Brazil. I think they're a good example, for some reason Brazil doesn't cherish their own artists until someone else says it's good. It needs a foreign stamp of approval that always made me bored about it because there's so many great artists there!
Who are some artists in Brazil you admire? and why? I love Stephan Doitschinoff's art, he creates his own world and he is very focused on being true to who he is. His work has always been an inspiration to me on how to do things, if there's not a scene for what you're doing you create the scene!
Throw a zine fest or an art party, and make no excuses for not doing things. People tend to complain there's not enough opportunities there, but i feel like it's also in our own hands to make things happen and not just wait for someone to invite you to be part of something. Jaca is another extremely talented artist living in São Paulo, he is super humble and not really into posting his art online. He doesn't need no approval or applause and I love that! He looks inside himself and his works reveal that to us, it's very inspiring! He will have a solo show at Bendgy in July and I can't wait to see what he's going to do.
When did you start your online store High in the Bay?  The products on there are all hand made by you in SF?  What’s it like keeping your own shop?   I started High in the Bay with my husband, Mildred, when I moved to SF in 2010 to make it up for the fact that I couldn't do a Bendgy here (i would have been evicted right away) so we did an online store. We do carry zines from other artists that we like and sometimes we make collaborative zine packs so people get to know other things than our own work, they get to see what we like! I brought some books, prints and zines from an amazing artist from Argentina called Tomás Spicolli, his work has been a big influence to me so I was very happy to have his art at Bendgy and soon at High in the Bay. It's important to learn to manage something even if it's an online shop, so then you get the grip of it and can do things better in the future, I used to work at Needles and Pens and I learned a lot from them on how to do things, it really helped me when I was doing Bendgy and High in the Bay.
You done a lot of cool art for bands!  What has been your favorite collaboration?  Thanks, man! I have to say I've been lucky to have worked with cool people, like I told before the Polara album cover was a cool one, it's coming out sometime this year in Brazil. All the bands were really cool to me and we became friends, I did a tshirt design for Josh Berwanger Band a few years ago, it had a funny request "draw Patrick Swayze in Road House"! And there was another album cover i did for Swivs that was so much fun to do, his music is so good!!
Give us your top 5 bands or tunes while creating?  How does music influence your art?  I'm very into the new Afghan Whigs album called "In Spades", and all their music really. It's one of my favorite bands ever, I have drawn so many of their lyrics consciously and unconsciously!I just came back from a concert last night in Oakland from another favorite of mine, The Magnetic Fields.  They're great and i came back from Brazil earlier just to see them, love everything that Stephin Merritt does, forever and ever.I'm very into the same bands for the longest time, I love the Ramones, Pulp, Os Mutantes, Cypress Hill, Tupac, Jonathan Richman, Spaceman 3... my music taste is all over the place!Music is a major influence to me, since I was a kid my best friend was not my pen but my radio.
What are your favorite Vans? how would you describe your personal style?Ok, there was a limited edition Lo Pros Saddle shoes that was SO cool! I have a photo of me wearing it, cause i wore it all the time! I'm a Hi Top girl, black and white or just white ones, love those!
What’s the best and worse advice you’ve gotten about art?  Best advice is to work hard and be true to yourself, sounds cliche but it's the truth.Worse advice is when people told me I had to go to art school, it might work for some people but it wasn't for me...
What’s on the horizon for the rest of 2017?  There's one big project that i'm super excited about but can't talk about it yet... And there will be lots and lots of cool art and live music happening at Bendgy!

About
『 Seung-ri Moon / Male MC 』
Name: Seung-ri Moon
文 (Moon) [Family/last name, meaning: writing] 승리 (Seung-ri) [Given name, meaning: victory]
Age: 21
Birthday: April 7th
Gender/Sex: Male
Occupation: RFA Party Coordinator
Height: 5′8″
Hair: Short, wavy/messy, brown, often in his eyes.
Eyes: Brown.
Physique: A bit thin and lanky.
Scars: Read after note at the very bottom. TW: abuse.
Personality/Attitude: He’s a very easygoing, laid back, go-with-the-flow kind of person. While he is quite lazy, Seung-ri has a good heart and a kind, caring personality. A bit of a forced optimist, he’s like a ray of sunshine on the exterior. He’s very friendly and open.
However, Seung-ri has other sides to him, depending on the situation, and while he may seem laid back, he is very stubborn. Seung-ri never gives up on what he wants. He is very determined.
Skills/Talents: Seung-ri is something of a lazy bum, devoid of most talent, but he has a few key talents. One of these is, of course, his skills at coordinating the RFA parties, which reveals the fact that he is very good with people. He’s also a very happy person, generally, and can bring a smile to almost anyone’s face, so another talent of his is making people happy. He can also cook, and sleep excessive amounts. If sleeping were a competitive sport, Seung-ri would be a champion.
Flaws/weaknesses: He has no real goals or direction in life. He doesn’t know when to give up or let go, even when it hurts him. He’s extremely pessimistic about his past and very insecure about himself. He has confidence, but lacks self esteem, usually trying to brush it off when it becomes noticeable. As stated before, he sleeps excessive amounts and lives a very slothful life, though he seems content that way.
Favourites/Likes:
Food- Seung-ri loves food in general. He eats excessive amounts. However, he has a particular liking for rice.
Animal- Pandas! They sleep and eat all day, just like him! Plus they’re cute!
Music Genre- Anything upbeat and happy, his playlists are a very good pick-me-up
Movie Genre- Romcoms
Color- Beige.
Most Hated/Dislikes: His mother. His body.
Fears: Being alone.
Religion/Beliefs: None, but he does believe in a God.
Sexual Preference: Bisexual
Background/history:
Seung-ri was the only child his mother had at a young age, out of wedlock. He never knew his father. Seung-ri was seen as a burden by his mother, who was very mentally unstable, and was physically abused until the age of 16, when his aunt took him in. She was much kinder than his mother, but distant. He was able to graduate from high school. He moved out and got a job that barely supported his living needs before being lead to Rika’s apartment and joining the RFA, after which he promptly quit his job.
Relationships with the RFA:
Saeyoung Choi: [Note: Saeyoung is my main ship with Seung-ri. However, I am very selective with Saeyoung roleplayers.]
Seung-ri gets along very well with Saeyoung, despite the fact that Saeyoung initially convinced the entire RFA that he was a woman. He jokes and flirts a lot with him before they get closer.
Jaehee Kang: He is friendly with Jaehee and supportive of her.
Jumin Han: He is also very friendly toward Jumin and happy to tease Zen with him on the rare occasions when Jumin does so. He respects him a lot, though he’s a little intimidated by him.
Yoosung Kim: He’s good friends with Yoosung, but teases him often, and often refers to him affectionately as “cute puppy Yoosung”.
Zen / Ryu Hyun: He enjoys teasing Zen. Unsure of his relationship with Zen after Zen was devastated upon finding out that Seung-ri is not, in fact, a girl.
V / Jihyun Kim (past): He was friendly with V and often told Yoosung he was being too hard on him.
V / Jihyun Kim (post): ??? Distrustful.
Rika: He hates her for everything she’s done.
Saeran (past): He wasn’t ever very afraid of this “Unknown” person, as Seung-ri is fearless to a fault.
Saeran (post): He dotes on him constantly and almost acts like his mother. He’s very affectionate toward him and refers to him as his “brother-in-law”.
Who I ship him with: Saeyoung Choi, mainly, but I also ship him with Jumin, Jaehee, Yoosung, Saeran, and Zen. However, unless specified that you would like to ship, his partner is Saeyoung.
Family:
Mother (status: alive) ...
Father (status: ???)
Sister (status: alive, 5 years old) Doesn’t know she exists in most roleplays.
Aunt (status: alive) Out of contact.
Scars (cont.): [TW, abuse]
He has very prominent burn scars on his thighs from his mother sitting him on a stove as a child. He will not allow his thighs to be seen unless he trusts someone completely.
A few memes I’ve done about him with extended info (WARNING: NSFW AHEAD) Also, the grammar on these is much less official my apologies! The information still rings true.:

What music they enjoy: He likes just about any song as long as it's happy and uplifting. So all his playlists are really pleasant. A good pick-me-up.

Unless you mean sexual. Then he really likes biting and eye contact. And pet play. And bondage in general- Overstimulation and orgasm denial are wonderful.
Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?: PANDA DOODLES
Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all?: He doesn't care about intellectual pursuits, but he's fairly good at everything. A jack of all trades, master of none.
How do they see themselves 5 years from today?: He prefers to live in the present, but he probably has plans with his romantic partner of course.
What is their biggest regret?: Never telling anyone about what his mother did to him as a child.

If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like?: Flailing around and trying to run????
NSFW AHEAD!!!!!
Headcanon Game - A to Z (NSFW) A = Aftercare (What they’re like after sex):
After sex, Seung-ri is really cuddly, but he pretty much falls asleep instantly after he decides you're finished.
B = Body part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner’s):
His favorite body part of his??? That's a hard one. Probably his butt. Saeyoung is his main partner, and unsurprisingly, Saeyoung's ass is also his favorite.
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum basically… I’m a disgusting person):
He actually doesn't like the taste of cum. He doesn't like it when people cum in his mouth so he avoids it.
D = Dirty Secret (Pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
He saved pics of Saeyoung in drag from the chatroom and regularly masturbates to them. Nasty boy.
E = Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?)
For this, it usually depends on the rp. But Seung-ri has had sex before. He definitely knows what he's doing.
F = Favourite Position (This goes without saying. Will probably include a visual)
Receiving partner on top/riding. Whether he's giving or receiving, he likes the receiving partner on top. He can be in the mood for other positions though.
G = Goofy (Are they more serious in the moment, or are they humorous, etc)
It depends on who he's with. He's usually serious though. With Saeyoung, he makes occasional jokes.
H = Hair (How well groomed are they, does the carpet match the drapes, etc.)
He likes to keep it totally bare. Often shaves his arms and legs, too. Fuckin gay.
I = Intimacy (How are they during the moment, romantic aspect…)
He's very romantic. He greatly prefers romantic sex. Lots of kisses, lots of gentle loving touches.
J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)
He likes to masturbate with toys when he's less lazy. In that case, his favorite is a vibrator but. Usually he's too lazy to use his toys. Like. 90% of his faps happen just because he's bored.
K = Kink (One or more of their kinks)
Pet play. Eye contact. Bondage. Cross dressing. Overstimulation. Orgasm denial.
L = Location (Favourite places to do the do)
In bed. He loves beds.
M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)
Uh. His partners turn him on, really.
N = NO (Something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
Hurting his partners, having his partners hurt him. Choking, spanking.
O = Oral (Preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc)
He prefers receiving oral but is always willing to give. He's a little clumsy but loves gagging so he'll get very into it. His enthusiasm makes up for his clumsiness.
P = Pace (Are they fast and rough? Slow and sensual? etc.)
It depends entirely on the mood. He prefers slow and sensual.
Q = Quickie (Their opinions on quickies rather than proper sex, how often, etc.)
Doesn't like them. Only when absolutely necessary.
R = Risk (Are they game to experiment, do they take risks, etc.)
He's always willing to experiment if nobody gets hurt.
S = Stamina (How many rounds can they go for, how long do they last…)
THIS BOY. THIS BOY JUST KEEPS GOING. He's evil. He won't give you a break. He goes for quite a few rounds before he's satisfied.
T = Toy (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)
Yes, he owns toys. He has a vibrator and an ordinary dildo. The vibrator is remote control.
He'd definitely use toys on his partners. Especially a remote control vibrator in public or something. Nasty nasty. Or putting a vibrator on the highest setting in his partner and kicking back and watching a movie while they suffer. HE'S EVIL. Don't give him reason to "punish" you.
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
A TON. HE LIKES TO TEASE WAY TOO MUCH. IT SHOULDN'T BE LEGAL.
V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make)
It depends on his partner and what position he's in and where they're at and how comfortable he is. It can range from quiet moans to fuckin screams
W = Wild Card (Get a random headcanon for the character of your choice)
He has a thing for those buttplugs with the little tails on them. So cute.
X = X-Ray (Let’s see what’s going on in those pants, picture or words)
...What????? Do you mean how big he is or? I'd say Seung-ri's a good 6 inches, good thickness. He's not crazy hung but he's p good.
Y = Yearning (How high is their sex drive?)
It depends but it can be VERY high or he doesn't wanna have sex for months because he's too lazy. If you offer to do all the work he'll always say yes though.
Z = ZZZ (… how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
He'll get comfortable and then INSTANTLY. Boom. Asleep.
MORE MAY OR MAY NOT BE ADDED IN THE FUTURE.

Can I tell you a secret?? Swear you won’t tell anyone.
Ok.
The reason I don’t have a passion or a spark or a constant hobby or thing that makes me happy is because I had to push them all aside.
Growing up I wanted to be an artist and I was petty good. All I had to do was look at something and I could make it. I loved it so much, I loved every part of it. And I loved seeing how good I got and how I could take what I saw in my mind and bring it to life. When I told my family I wanted to be an artist, they didn’t take it well. They told me I wouldn’t make it, that they didn’t want me to be poor and starving and told me I needed to pick a practical career.
So I put my sketchbooks away and for a while I was even glad I did because apprently my siblings could draw too and they felt they couldn’t draw anything because their work would be in my shadow no matter how good their stuff was. So I didn’t touch my art supplies for years and started giving it away to people who needed it more than me and I picked a new passion.
I picked science because I liked it and it made my mom happy and everyone started saying how successful I would be. I did really well too so I thought that was it, my passion you know? But that didn’t last very long. Not even four years.
I didn’t know what else I could do so, I picked a new thing. Something I liked when I was a kid and was kinda good at. Writing.
I loved writing as much as I loved drawing and I was really really good at it. It felt wonderful to have the words pour out of me. The words would pull people in and they would see what I saw. I loved creating stories. Poems. I even didn’t mind persuasive essays when I found a good thesis. I wanted to be a writer. I wanted to build stories. They said I wouldn’t make it as a writer and that it was too unrealistic but it was a good foundation for law.
Writing wasn’t totally gone but it became a chore and I didn’t like anything I wrote anymore. I stopped being a writer and became more of a grammar and spelling checker for everyone. I haven’t touched my stories in years now and I can’t remember my characters anymore. I can’t remember the name of my protagonist, wow.
I have a practical job now that I dread going to every day. In something I have no passion for because I was told it was the right thing to do. I was helping the family I was being useful I should be grateful for the opportunity this job gives me.
The only times Im reminded I could write is when my siblings or my mom needs help with their essays. Or when my mom wanted to write a book about bees and about skin and I refused to write it. Now I’m no longer the writer in the family because I didn’t want to do that.
I started making dream catchers for fun. And I got really good at them. I was told I need to either sell them or stop making them. I was told I only had a short window before people lost interest in dream catchers and then it would be useless. I stopped making them.
I used to work on a literary magazine and I worked in editing and layout. I loved it so much. My family kept suggesting I look at fashion magazines and local magazines and why don’t I look into journalism and news. I found one magazine I love. I wanted to apply for a job there. I showed my mom. And she asked me why I would waste my time with them.
There are more but you get the idea. If it isn’t useful or doesn’t make me money I’m told it’s a waste of time and energy. If it brings me joy for the simple pleasure of bringing me joy it’s a waste.
Then there is the additional. My family needs help with everything. My drawing, my writing, my reading, my hiking, my crafts, my tv shows all of it takes focus away from my family. I can’t watch that show I need to watch this one the one I like is stupid. I can’t read that book I’ve read it before and besides it’s not useful. I can’t watch that movie I need to expand my horizons and see reality. I can’t do that craft because this sibling has a project due at midnight. Why am I still hanging out with that friend haven’t I outgrown them already? Why do I still talk to this person I should take to that one because they seem more out together. Why am I so quiet all the time. Why don’t I sing or talk anymore I used to be so much fun. Why don’t I draw any ire I used to be so good at it it’s a shame I lost interest in it. Why don’t I write anymore I used to be such a good writer. Why don’t I smile anyone i used to be so happy and would skip down the halls. Why don’t I go outside anymore. Why do I only listen to my music with my headphones. Why don’t I go out more. Why don’t I take to that fiend anymore.
I just.
I have been told and thought over and over again that my interests and my passions are stupid and will get me nowhere in life. The only good use of time is reinventing yourself every few years. Unless a passion does that it is a waste. My passions will get me nowhere in life and I will be a nobody. And when I do express a passion for anything it’s either used or it becomes a distraction from my family and gets in the way.
That’s my secret. I put all of my passions, my joys, my hobbies, and any happiness on hold for my family. Either to take care of them or to please them and
I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how to get them back or if I even want them back and I don’t remember how to be happy anymore.
I feel a touch if it every now and then but it doesn’t last long. Maybe a few minutes? I’m just. I’m always angry or scared and tired. I’m so tired all the time but I can’t close my eyes ever. I can’t bring myself to fall asleep because I’m too wound up. I know I’m wasting time and if I sleep I’m doubly wasting it and I don’t know what to do anymore.
I just I want to hide. I want to hide my happiness and bury it somewhere no one else can touch it or take it or twist it or use it and... I would. If I could fucking find or feel my happiness. But I fucking can’t so I just have to sit here and pray no one sees just how fucked up I am

[John K. Ross] Short Circuit: A Roundup of Recent Federal Court Decisions
Hypnosis, fungal spores, and a Bernie independent.
Please enjoy the latest edition of Short Circuit, a weekly feature from the Institute for Justice.
Federal inmate files lawsuit challenging his treatment in solitary confinement. Bureau of Prisons: He's been transferred to a new prison, so the case is moot. D.C. Circuit: [Looking up from rap sheet] Yeah, we're pretty sure this guy is going to end up in solitary again, so the case can go forward.
Delaware attorney longs to be a judge, but there's one problem: He's a "Bernie independent," and the Delaware Constitution limits service on the state's courts to members of the Democratic and Republican parties, who must be appointed in equal numbers. Unconstitutional limit on the freedom to associate or legitimate attempt at ideological balance? Third Circuit: Dear Delaware, we get what you're trying to do, but the First Amendment won't let you do it this way.
Did the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office err when it concluded that Booking.com was generic and therefore could not be trademarked? Fourth Circuit: Booking Yeah! Dissent: Booking Nah!
The Natural Gas Act allows private companies to use eminent domain to build pipelines but does not give them the power to take immediate possession of the land they want prior to final judgment in the condemnation action. District court: No problem, they can just take immediate possession by means of a preliminary injunction. Fourth Circuit: We said this was OK 15 years ago, which makes it OK today, too.
Allegation: Church seeks zoning variance so it can operate out of Baltimore County, Md. house (situated on 1.2 acres of land). Planning officials don't object. Yikes! The neighbors object and are super racist about it. The county denies the variance. Fourth Circuit: Given the irregularities in the county's decision-making process, it is at least possible officials were swayed by the neighbors' animus. The case should not have been dismissed. And the church's First and 14th Amendment claims deserve strict scrutiny.
Federal law makes it a crime for any agency charged with the administration of juvenile justice or incarceration to deprive people of their constitutional rights. Allegation: That's exactly what the juvenile courts in Lauderdale County, Miss. are doing—running a "school-to-prison pipeline." Fifth Circuit: No dice. The Youth Court is not a "governmental agency" within the meaning of the statute.
Transgender woman applies for job and is extended an offer. But then soon-to-be employers discover woman had concealed from them that she'd been fired from her previous job. Offer rescinded. Woman files Title VII lawsuit asserting discrimination on the basis of transgender status. Fifth Circuit panel (Judge Ho): Even setting aside whether Title VII protects against transgender discrimination, the woman can't possibly make out a Title VII claim—not least because the employers rescinded her offer before they learned of her transgender status. Concurrence (also Judge Ho): But just to be clear, Title VII absolutely does not protect against transgender discrimination. Concurrence (Judge Higginbotham): And of course, "elegant asides" about Title VII's scope are absolutely beside the point in this case.
Bank robber is sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment and ordered to pay $189k (plus interest) in restitution, in quarterly installments of the greater of $25 or 50 percent of his prison wages. The robber sticks to the installment plan while also accumulating $3,400 in prison wages. Gov't: We want that money, too. District court: Cool. Fifth Circuit: Not cool. The restitution order specifies an installment plan and the inmate has stuck to the plan, so gov't can't demand more.
After a jury convicts Detroit man of gang-related murder, Juror #4 reveals that other jurors had Facebook-stalked the defendant, researched information about gangs, and discussed their findings during deliberations. State courts: No big deal; the Facebookery and Googling largely duplicated evidence presented at trial. Federal district court: Actually, this is a very big deal; the state needs to either retry the guy or set him free. Sixth Circuit: Agreed that it's a potentially big deal, but rather than a second trial, the guy is entitled to an initial hearing on whether the jurors' "extracurricular fact-finding" actually affected the verdict. Dissent: The district court was well within its rights to say that a new trial is the appropriate remedy.
Elkhart, Ind. man is shot in the face, lives to testify. Defendant is convicted based on the man's identification. But wait! Did the identification materialize because of hypnosis—which the prosecutor suggested and arranged for but, aware "there might be a problem in court," never disclosed to the defense? Seventh Circuit (over a dissent): Well, the lack of disclosure was a problem. The defendant gets a new trial.
Woman doesn't pay her $60 co-pays for physical therapy. A debt collector sends her letters for three years; she doesn't pay, so the debt collector informs credit reporting agency that she owes nine debts of $60. Yikes! The woman sues the debt collector because the debt should have been reported in aggregate ($540)—not as nine separate debts of $60. District court: Yup, the debt collector must pay her $1,000. Seventh Circuit: Reversed. No law or regulation actually says that.
Little Rock, Ark. police dept. hires officer who attended a KKK meeting in high school. His five-year career is "horror show" of misconduct, culminating in unjustified fatal shooting of a black 15-year-old. (Click here for longform journalism.) Eighth Circuit: The teen's mother can't sue the police chief or the city. (And while she did win a civil trial against the now-ex cop, he lacks the money to pay the $415k he owes her.)
In this easy-affirm from the Eighth Circuit, a man solicited more than a million dollars to establish a nation for the Hmong ethnic group, the details of which were "top secret." (The secret was fraud.)
Valley fever, caused by inhaling fungal spores, is particularly prevalent in certain California prisons. (It's unclear why.) Dozens of prisoners sue, claiming their increased exposure risk violates the Eighth Amendment. And black prisoners—who are more likely to get the fever (it's unclear why)—claim they weren't kept out of those prisons soon enough. Ninth Circuit: Qualified immunity. Prison officials tried to mitigate exposure risk, and besides, people do voluntarily live in places with increased risk of valley fever. As for the black prisoners' claim—prison officials couldn't know the Constitution required them to discriminate. (A further detail: Because of other problems, California's prison medical system has been under federal control since 2006.)
Troubled California man, arrested for slashing his girlfriend's tire, is left alone in a police cell. On the phone in another room, arresting officer is allegedly told the man is suicidal. Which he is: Back in the cell, the man is hanging himself with his belt. By the time the officer returns, about 15 minutes later, the man has severe brain damage. The man sues. Ninth Circuit (over a partial dissent): It's just not clear the officer knew enough to have had to rush back to the cell. So he gets qualified immunity on the federal claim against him. But claims against him under California law and against the city will proceed to trial.
Alabama corrections officials refuse Muslim inmate's request to have his imam present at his execution. Rather, only a Christian chaplain will be able to be present in the chamber. Eleventh Circuit: We are "exceedingly loath" to second guess corrections officials, but this looks an awful lot like favoring one religion over another and thus a violation of "the heart of the Establishment Clause." Delay the execution. Supreme Court (over a dissent): The inmate waited far too long to seek relief. He can be executed. (Ed. note: And he was.)
Man who's high on drugs exposes himself, wields knife menacingly on streetcar. The streetcar empties. The man declines repeated orders to drop knife, advances toward police officer. The officer shoots him (three times), including a fatal shot to the heart. Officer: And then the man tried to get up, so I shot him again (six times). Video: The man did not start to get up. Jury: The officer is not guilty of murder (for the first volley of shots), but he is guilty of attempted murder (the second volley). Court of Appeal for Ontario: No need to reconsider the verdict or the officer's six-year sentence.
Tracy McGlothian, an experienced seamstress who also has an MBA, wants to teach students how to sew for a living (rather than as a hobby). But Virginia forbids Tracy from doing that without first obtaining a vocational school license, which is no easy task. The application process is byzantine and expensive. And officials have repeatedly rejected Tracy for no defensible reason. So last summer, Tracy and her husband, Jon, sued the state under the First Amendment. And in January, a federal magistrate judge ruled the case should go forward. Click here to read more.

Ok. This will be another post to practice my writing and at the same time, to share with my few followers (just kidding) about one of my most recently hobbies: reading books.
A couple years ago I had decided to read more books by 2 main reasons: firstly,  was because the current president of my home country couldn’t name at least 3 books that he read on his life; and the second reason was and stills being because all my university classmates usually did. After all, on the 2017 resolution’s list I wrote “read 1 book per month”.
Go giver was my third book, or March’s book. The January’s was Grit to Great, another tasty book, and February’s was Be a people person. All together could be really good book stock in your shelves if your aim is  improve your personal development, but as today, just I would talk about this book at picture.
Go giver.
I will star with the name, this name could sound to easy, but the truth is that it has a remarkably meaning hiding on, because the action of give anyone could do it but no at the level the book shows. Through the story of Joe and Pindar (characters in the book) we could find the key to unleash the stratospheric success.
I would recommend you to read it, and because I don’t want to ruin all the treasure you would find on it, I will just put the main ideas you could follow and develop as well as practice in your own environment or social-work status.
The five laws of stratospheric success
1.The Law of the Value: Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment
2.The Law of Compensation: You income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them
3.The law of Influence: Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interest first
4.The law of Authenticity: The most valuable gift you have to offer is yourself.
5.The law of Receptivity: The key of effective giving is to stay open to receiving.
Pindar teach Joe about these laws, within the condition that Joe might apply each one in the same day he learnt it.  So, we could grab an idea about how to use this rules on our own and I sure you, that it would be strongly beneficial.
Hopefully I persuaded you to read it. On its preface its says that after the first edition the book had received a lot of positive reviews as well many companies and schools have been using it through their strategies and curriculums.
Enjoy it!
