El is gonna be the next boss angel right? I wanna see him grow up and become one hot dude but i don’t want him to be separated from Azazel ;;;;-;;;;

For awhile, I started shipping Jeanne and Azazel, but then the ending of VS was just so sad for them, I couldn’t do it any more. I just wanted friendship and happiness for them. The only way I can see them together romantically, is if El/Mugaro magically returned. So…here is some headcanon if Mugaro were to resurrect.

It goes without saying that Jeanne and Azazel would be happy beyond belief.

El would hug his mom first, and then after some time ask if it would be OK if he hugged Azazel too.

Of course she is OK with this. She thinks of Azazel as an important, no crucial, part of her son’s life.

He hugs Azazel who, without hesitation, kneels and HUGS HIM BACK THIS TIME. There is no way he is going to miss the chance to show him how much he loves him.

As their tearful reunion concludes, and Azazel is about to see himself off, Jeanne stops him.

She insists that he is very important to her son, and she hopes that he will continue to play a role in El’s life. She suggests monthly visits.

OF COURSE Azazel wants to, but he is slightly concerned that Lucifer will find him leaving “somewhere” every month for a few days, more than a bit odd. Nonetheless, he agrees to find a way.

Monthly visits begin, in which Azazel brings various charms and ornaments as gifts for Mugaro.

He also takes Mugaro on picnics. On particularly beautiful days, they fly together.

Each time Azazel visits, he ends up spending a little more time with Jeanne too.

Mugaro will fall asleep in one of their laps after dinner, and Azazel will stick around just a bit longer.

Because Jeanne wants to know more about her son (and maybe more about the fallen angel too) she asks about the time they spent together in Anatae.

After some conversation, and maybe another round of drinks, Azazel will leave again until the next visit.

At the conclusion of each visit, they are both surprised at how easy it is for them to banter with their former enemy.

Noticing this burgeoning friendship, Sofiel becomes wary and reminds Jeanne who/what Azazel is.

Jeanne appreciates the concern, but insists she has ample reason to trust the demon.

Lucifer also takes note of Azazel’s peculiar behavior. Before one visit, he catches his right-hand man leaving with not one, but two gifts.

Lucifer already knows about the child, but inquires about who the second item could be for. Azazel departs without answering. This is something he won’t be able to get away with for long.

After Mugaro falls asleep, Azazel gives Jeanne a miniature yet elegant, crystal figure of a spider.

Jeanne doesn’t know what to make of the gift. Azazel knows she is terrified of spiders.

He saw her scream and tremble when one scampered across the table once. (He teased her for it too!)

When she asks why he would give her a spider figurine of all things, he responds, “Perhaps, if you can see spiders as beautiful, you will no longer find them frightening.”

And then they kiss…or not…

But it would be cute. At the very least, they both feel warmer towards one another.

Last bit of headcanon for Jeanne, Azazel, Mugaro happiness scenario. (for now ;))

Though Jeanne and Azazel are maybe, kinda, sorta, falling for each other, they are both very slow to make any obvious moves.

El decides to intervene and will do things such as imposing joint hugs.

First he will hug his Mom, and then if Azazel is near, he will pull him in.

They comply with awkward side hugs.

El’s other tactics include asking questions that will put one or the other on the spot.

Such as, “Don’t you think my Mom is pretty, Azazel?”

Azazel will mumble a response. He will agree, but he loathes being caught off guard, so he refuses to form a full sentence.

Jeanne finds most of these things El does adorable, though she is aware of his motive.

Azazel finds it all embarrassing, but he can’t say no to Mugaro.

They continue like this for awhile, and for the time being, they are all content and happy.
