Well, people will just say she was at the same hotel because she was there for something El Tequileño related. 😉🤷‍♀️

Hmmm, SF should be careful with her words.

Arrogance? Isn't Sam always bringing up his bought medals for his whisky? Isn't he the one rushing to IG to put 2x NY Times best selling author in his bio?

Take credit for ideas that belong to others? What about that whisky truck? How about saying the tequila is his product and not that of El Tequileno? How about talking a "Dram with Sam" from fans' "A dram for Sam"? Let's not mention him sueing fans for an idea they had sooner than him?

Belittling others? Hmm, how about MiK and that entire banter? Or lets take the nice fan story from clanlands?

I think she looks at it in a different way than most of us do

This is one of the best Añejo I have tried in a long time and an incredible flavor with hints of oak, caramel, vanill and cinnamon.

EL TEQUILENO 50 ANIVERSARIO ANEJO TEQUILA A special bottling to mark the 50th anniversary of El Tequileno, this has been aged in oak for delicious aromas of walnuts, almonds, vanilla and crème brûlée. The palate has floral notes as well as cinnamon and nutmeg, with cooked agave and a sprinkling of black pepper to add freshness.

Just read an IV with that Chiefmabooboo guy , apparently they initially refused to make a tequila for S and only after his persistence agreed to a collaboration where their branding would be retained . El T have never in their 62yr history made tequila for anyone else they only work within the family and this is there first and only collaboration , it’s described as a one off batch not to be repeated. Sounds like he was hands on with the negotiating and development more so than AN .

The lead or the one that throws in his charms and the OL fandom, to ‘guarantee’ a success. A one time batch (55k bottles) only available in the US. So what about him bringing the tequila culture to the UK??? Why was he playing around with the Fortaleza guys on their bikes. Not just for the bikes I think!

If you ask me, they (SH+AN) wanted a lot more, and this is what they could get. They might have just agreed to it in hope to be a success and get more negotiated on a future deal. If there’s going to be one.

You praise S’s persistence, I think I’m going to praise El T for not giving up their brand name and for negotiating what looks more to me like they’re the ones that might gain new customers from it.

El Tequileño is owned by Henuset as majority partner and 50 shareholders made up of his business friends in Calgary plus other Canadians, and some from the U.S. and Mexico. Let's see if this makes a difference in his sales. Don't see it though because of his limited fame and use of the same online bar.

I rather see Tequileno getting customers from him than the other way around. They don't need to work on the trademarks and approval to distribute in places though. Some advantage perhaps. All that work has been done already by Tequileno.
