guh, i'm tired of telling people i'm they/them and then being referred to mostly with she/her in response. i used to not mind that people would assume she/her because it was a sign that i was being visually read how i wanted, but as people continue to actively be terrible at remembering to use my actual pronouns once i do tell them, the assumptions have started to irritate me as well.

as someone who goes to a lot of queer and especially trans events, something i can't help but notice is that i'm very often the only fat transfem present, and moreover, fat transfems of color are virtually never present at all. the absence is extremely conspicuous.

i know there are a lot of social forces stacked up against these labels and particularly at their intersections, but shit, it feels lonely to know so few other fat trans women irl right now.

literally cannot comprehend how society succeeded in making people feel insecure about stretch marks. in my humble and correct dyke opinion stretch marks are one of the fucking hottest features someone could possibly have on their body. have you ever traced your fingers along a gorgeous row of stretch marks, taking in the exquisite sight and lovely texture, enjoying the wonderful little noises the other person makes as a delicate touch graces such a sensitive area of skin? literally don't know if i'd ever truly lived before getting to have this experience for the first time.
