Her story starts with a profound experience as an 11-year-old girl that sparked an incredible company that has profoundly changed the beauty industry in the most positive and incredible way. Jasmine is more than a beauty brand founder, she is a visionary leader. Her story: Devastated by harsh chemical products, 11-year-old Jasmine sought to develop solutions for her own natural hair care needs. At the age of 13, after attending a NFTE BizCamp, Jasmine founded EDEN BodyWorks to meet her own need for affordable natural hair and body care products. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ EDEN BodyWorks is a Black and Woman-owned business. All products are natural, cruelty-free, and do not contain sulfates, silicones, or parabens. @edenbodyworks is unique in its focus on education, empowerment, and commitment to the community. Prior to this, she has held a number of positions creating consumer-focused products for companies like @meta , @softbankrobotics America, and @microsoft . She earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from @georgiatech and her Masters in Human-Centered Design and Engineering at the @uofwa. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Outside of work Jasmine is a poet, STEM advocate, and Advisory Board Member for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship @nfte .
