Andy Baio, owner of Waxy.org and subject of Wikipedia article, has written a somewhat long & in-depth eulogy of Ello...
I personally like it. There are some details that I personally would have added to it (such as the whole Galaxim & Bibles thing, the Cult of Monoboob, the writing communities, Currentivism the-almost-but-is-an-art-movement, and various other Ello deep-lores), but not right now though... Maybe in a few more days, if I get around to it...
Thanks Andy, and hello fellow Ello-Tumbleweeds this text might pique your interests... ✌☕🍞

Trees communicate using their roots, demonstrating a profound interconnectedness akin to our own social networks. They are linked to us by producing the oxygen we breathe, a critical aspect of our shared ecosystem. While our genetic codes differ significantly, it's a reminder of the diverse tapestry of life on Earth, with DNA being the common thread that unites us all.

The river flows into Fall,
The air now chill and nippy
And along with fallen leaves,
It washes pain to the Mississippi
Let the Autumn wind take my pall
Then blow it past the Moon
As the long nights bring the stars
Which chase away my gloom.
Let the season lay to rest,
The sultry Summer Sun
Then embrace me like a lover,
Now that Fall has finally come.
