i've posted one of them before, but i wanna make a brief intro post of these guys! they're my primary focus when i'm not hyperfocused on splatoon lollll

these are the central characters for my sci-fi adventure story, Star Defender Auriga! they're 3 outcasts making money doing odd (sometimes illegal) jobs around the galaxy, who then get roped into a job with catastrophic consequences that they must figure out how to get under control

it's a major WIP but for the time being, here's a little bit abt each one!

Aurora Koeia (she/her, 16 yrs)

a bubbly, idealistic, and naive young lady with a dream of being the coolest heroine in the galaxy. has a strong distaste for galactic authority--called the Holo-Guard--and likes to cause trouble for them. pilot (and de facto leader) of the Auriga III spaceship.

Charon Saros (he/they, 25 yrs)

a cold, reserved, and uptight child prodigy who puts on an unapproachable front to hide his insecurity and poor sense of self. he is also a holo-technician and cyber security expert, often using his skills to tamper with police technology--including the Holo-Guard themselves.

(right outfit is default!)

Astrid Solà (she/her, 31 yrs)

a suave, easygoing ladies' gal with a passion for pretty women and big guns. generally likes to go with the flow, but isn't above getting into trouble every now and then. as a professional weaponeer, she likes building, playing with, and sharing her extensive knowledge of guns of every kind. also aurora's biggest enabler.

Bubs (she/her, timeless)

a peculiar creature who wandered onto the Auriga III one day and claimed it as her domain, and its crewmates as "hers." believed to belong to a rare species of alien that went extinct long ago, but details of said species are a mystery. mostly keeps to herself, but will demand pets and kisses on her own terms, usually by sitting all 23 lbs of herself on whoever she seeks affection from. can traverse dimensions at will.

i desperately wanted a heavy metal idol group for splatoon 3, so i made my own!! meet MEGAMOUTH, a thrash metal duo repping a city deep within the splatlands!

first is meg, guitarist and lead vocalist, and next is luzana, MEGAMOUTH's drummer!
