Emma x Draken: Love Story Part 4

Confession

It’s been two years since Emma and Draken met.  That means it’s been 2 years of him trying to not show his feelings and her trying too hard to get him to notice her.  At this point, Hina was trying to get them to admit it without Emma having to seduce her boyfriend again to make Draken jealous.  Hell, everyone tried to get them to admit it!  At this point everyone started calling her Draken’s wifey behind their backs.  But only one person didn’t try yet.  And that person was Mikey!

Did Mikey want to see his little sister and one of his best friends together?  Yes.  Did he hope that they could figure this out on their own?  Yes.  Did they? No.  So now it was time for him to get involved.  Operation Emna (not a typo just a combination of Emma and Ken) was going to go down tonight!

It was a beautiful warm summer night.  The sun was setting as Emma was washing dishes and Shinichiro was in his room.  Leaving Mikey and Draken sitting outside to discuss Toman things.  The blonde leader noticed his little sister coming out onto the engawa with refreshments for the two.  Now it has begun.

Mikey stretched his arms above his head.  “Kenny, I didn’t know you liked my sister so much.  That’s just crazy,”. He said, giving that famous Sano smirk.

When Emma was so shocked, she nearly dropped the tray she was carrying. Thankfully, she didn’t.  But now her face was the same crimson color as the tray.

“You asshole,” Draken yelled in a flustered tone, “I told you that in confidence!  Don’t just announce it to the world!”

“Oh hi Emma!  Thanks for the drinks.  But I have to go!  Bye, you two have fun!”

At this point, Draken was beet red, which was a mix of his anger at Mikey and the embarrassment from Emma hearing.

“I’m going to kill him,” Draken said, trying to cool down.

“It’s okay.  It makes me feel good knowing that you like me too.  I guess we really don’t get that romance manga confession.  So let me try to salvage this.  I like you too, Draken.  A lot.  I’d even say love if that didn’t freak you out,” she said as she looked down at the ground, too afraid that it was a big joke.

He breathed a sigh of relief, “you know it feels better to say it out loud.  I knew you did.  It was too obvious but I thought if I said it people would go after you or something.”

“So you did notice?”

“I almost killed Takemitchy after that one incident.”

She giggled before looking up at the tall blonde, “so what do we do now?”

“Do you want to go on a date?  Maybe this Friday?”

“I’d love that,” she said smiling.  Both were still a bright shade of pink.  Mikey finally turned the corner from his hiding spot.

“Took you two long enough,” he exclaimed before getting soaked by the drink Emma made for him.  

“Shut up,” Draken said laughing at the blonde Captain he just threw a drink at.  Emma just giggled.  She was happy with Mikey’s plan (whatever it was), secretly Draken was too.  But Mikey was the happiest because Baji owes him 50 yen for being the one to finally get those two to confess.
