Mysore Palace Courtyard

Mysore Palace is not only beautiful with the light show at night. This palace is enormous with courtyards and lavishly appointed rooms. The floor is wet because it is an open courtyard and we were in India during the rainy season.

Baby Taj Mahal

If you have seen my Taj Mahal postings, this may look familiar to you, but it is not the Taj Mahal. This is a view of the entrance gate to the Baby Taj Mahal from the inside. The Baby Taj Mahal was build prior to the Taj Mahal and served as a model for the Taj. Like the Taj Mahal, the Baby Taj Mahal has an elaborate sandstone with marble and stone-inlay entrance gate. This is a beautiful example of Mughal Architecture.
