If letting our children do and get everything they ask for is soothing for the moment, stop and think of the long-term affects it will have as they grow to be adults.

We have to seriously start limiting social media, defining clear lines of responsibilities, reasons it���s not play time or friend time, why they aren’t allowed to use certain apps without supervision, it could be whatever your child wants that will be counter productive for them later.

All this will make you the “mean mom” when you say “no” to probably ANYTHING 😁🤷🏻‍♀️ but the self control and responsibilities they will grow to have will be valuable. Let’s compare it to always saying yes and letting them have their way, or you don’t want to see them cry, keeping them away from argumentative blow-ups instead teach them how to productively communicate etc. Just generally breaking down everything that you may have seen growing up and reversing it to help end the generational dysfunction in your children’s life. #EndGenerationalDysfunction
