Not even in my wildest dreams was I expecting this Youtube channel to grow its community so consistently and organically when I posted my first lesson roughly two months and a half ago... and I am so glad that I did.
It all started when one of my students asked me a few questions related to the use of the Past Perfect in English. As I was composing my reply email I realised that visuals are a learner's best friend, so I started working on a few slides to illustrate what I was trying to explain.
It soon occurred to me that if I associated the visuals with voice comments, it would make things even clearer and more enjoyable. And this is how the first video lesson came to be. My student appreciated the effort and decided to share the tutorial with his classmates.
Ever since, I've been uploading video lessons and tutorials on the language or exam aspects that my learners have been struggling with. Apparently, they were not the only ones and others have found them useful, too.
I have to admit, this has been a bit of a dream of mine: being able to reach and help a larger community of English learners for free. As I wrote in the presentation for this page: education should be free to anyone looking to improve. Feel free to learn here. Also, feel free to make suggestions and ask questions.

Eric Birling is young. He is in his twenties and Priestley made sure that the director and actors of the play would know that Eric is, in Priestley’s words ‘not quite at ease, half shy, half assertive’. The opposite of that would be someone confident, sure of himself and perhaps successful.
