I call this one, I committed to my own bit!

Anyway, have some baby and grown up Curaré from my DP X DC AU Danny and the Little Dead Girl, not much else to say on that.

I think when Curaré gets older while she wouldn’t be an assassin like she is in Batman Beyond she would be some sorta Halfa hero working for Fentonworks so I also doodled that, as a treat. (Also I can’t believe it took me this long to realize how much her canonical design makes her look like megamind i fuckin died laughing while drawing this)

the biggest problem i have with the psychonauts timeline is that you can not tell me this man is like 27

#LIKE #HE HAS 5 KIDS #2 OF HIS 5 KIDS ARE TEENAGERS #bc if we hinge on the belief psychonauts takes place in the 1980’s. And the deluge happened #‘’20 years ago’’… ok so augustus was a child then bc he doesn’t remember anything weird happening with his mom being replaced #and the astralathe wasnt used on him #ergo he had to be between the ages of like baby to 7 years old… at the most generous… to not remember that #so going off that timeline the absolute oldest augustus can currently be is like… 27????#i refuse he’s literally in his late 30’s early 40’s.#psychonauts takes place in the 2000’s in my heart bc the psychic 6 could not have existed any other decade but the 60’s here #40ish years. that is reasonable. that is a reasonable amoint of time to have the deluge forgotten #ir atleast greatly diminished #rhe ONLY thing that doesnt work in its favor is gristol #BUT!!! He could just be a young looking guy #bc it still makes more sense than the deluge being 20 years ago

listen I know Daniel raises a lot of questions both timeline wise and motivation wise for Douglas. but have you considered he also raises the very funny headcanon that Marcus was built to be a babysitter for the Rats

Missed opportunities in SPN

Case where single parents, especially those that were teenage moms, are killing their kids. The theme is, "I became a parent before I was ready to be one. I gave up all my dreams to raise them."

Piggybacking off that, a case where the school-aged kids keep jealously killing their parents' new love interests. A single dad keeps losing girlfriends to mysterious accidents brought on by a psychic kid.

You know, it's got a lot of unsaid stuff...about Sam.

I will accidentally and inadvertently use my fanfiction therapizing the miserable experience within a paper about literally providing therapy to the entirely miserable and hopeless

#it’s with existentialism #which is an old school of psychology before cognition and biological psychology took over #it’s about giving life meaning through suffering is my thesis and it’s useful cause boy fuckin howdy ain’t we sufferin in 2022 #had to read man’s search for meaning to do it and it’s about a concentration camp survivor who pioneers logotherapy which is a branch #of existentialism this is so circular but not it’s fun and cool #and I was writing and went wait #this is just me writing the sad old men being nice #despite and including their traumas from their lives #it’s all existentialism baby #there’s a ton of papers supporting it’s use in the clinical setting it’s literally just because meaning is hard to study in a clinical #setting so unlike cbt you can’t go yeah it’s clinically proven to work with this margin of error that we beat it works in these cases #that’s all well and good until you got treatment resistant cases #where it’s a crushing loneliness or a fear of death #where it’s a logical fear to have with no cognitive errors so the now widely used methods #don’t work #ergo we use existentialism #also it works for the terminally ill for obvious reasons #Srry to therapize I gotta shittily infodump before I scholarly infodump
