List Of Opinions For Semi-Final 2

Just as I thought, there's a LOT for me to unpack about this semi...like a LOT so I'll just get to it.

To begin with, I'll open with an iconic quote from my sister about a performance I'm sure you'll know exactly which one I'm talking about: HE THREW HIS GUITAR LIKE 10FT IN THE AIR!

Both Latvia and Georgia snapped their NQ streaks! Both of them haven't qualified since 2016, and with that, the longest NQ streaks have snapped (Ireland was second I think, but that got snapped too. Feel free to correct me if I missed anything)

Lots of surprises, it was a very intense semi-final, which will lead to a more intense grand final.

Honestly, Latvia was a shock Q for me, as it was for a lot of people I bet. But again, in a year with high-energy songs, it will be good to have a song be our break.

BELGIUM NQ?! So, you know how that's my winner right? Right. I was pretty sure Mustii was as good as in. I for one loved the performance, AND HE DOESN'T QUALIFY?! Needless to say, shock NQ of the year, and likely biggest robbery this year imo.

I'd be foolish to note that my sister's winner (Armenia) did make it and it was an intense moment for both of us. We're good, don't worry. We won't let this affect our sisterhood.

My mom walked in to see the Netherlands perform...and saw the end (he did the VERY emotional outro for his parents which makes me tear up every time I think about it). We cried.

For some reason, I had seen word floating around a month or so ago that people were worried about Estonia qualifying? Needless to say don't worry about that; they made it...that was a fun performance (as in I was doing the dance!)!

As more of a call to action to wrap up: I'm not going to repeat myself. You all have probably seen the news of Italy's result leak AND might have seen the odds. Worst case scenario, I won't return next year (as may the contest...something the EBU brought upon themselves). I'll be revealing a 2nd tumblr page on Saturday no matter what happens, but keep that in mind. Hopefully, it won't turn that way, but figured I'd give you my side.
