do you think it's okay to use ai for editing?

oof, i don't really care one way or another? i don't use it, but that's not really a moral position, i just don't like my writing being meddled with and am generally kind of a luddite. to be honest though i don't think this should be as much a question of "is this okay" for you as "does this help me and am i comfortable with it"

#esp when it comes to copy editing AI doesn't........seem all that different to me to software we had previously to the boom #and that software was already pretty susceptible to mistakes #so to me personally AI doesn't seem more helpful than commonplace grammar checks but like it's whatever #it's here to stay anyway like it's over lol just do whatever you want #asks #anon
