Seeing that old video of JoJo Siwa saying that lesbian is a dirty word to her (and makes her feel gross to say it) makes me so upset. That word is so important to me, as I’m sure it also is for every proud lesbian out there. It’s not a dirty word. A day without lesbians is a day without sunshine. Settling into the identity has already been hard enough while unraveling YEARS of comphet, and it has taken me years to finally accept that I am a lesbian. I love women.
