It's kinda funny looking back on old screenshots and edits I made 3-5 years ago because in a way they have changed a LOT yet at the same time also not all although the fact that my old computer could barely handle having FFXIV installed is kinda evident in hindsight lol

#ive played for 11 years now but its only as of july last year that i actually have a computer i can go nuts on #with editing and good graphics etc which is probably why ive felt such a stark jump in my abilities #like its MUCH easier to edit by hand when your pc doesnt freeze up and making the screen black out anytime you draw a stroke too long LOL #its kinda funny looking back though because i still rely on things i learned way before gpose was added to the game #to the point where i often forget there are new fancy tools i can use to help the process #and thats despite having used the crimetools for way longer than i havent at this point #same with gpose..... god. that shit was added january 2017 i think. so thats 3 years of learning when to pause at the right time #and using walls to angle the camera and to try and time weather and multiple tries in case skill effects looked off etc etc #honestly since i cant do much photography these days whether that be of people or of bjds gpose is like a balm to my soul #anyway im rambling LMFAO just a lot of nostalgia when looking back. ill have to hunt down some REALLY old screens at some point #just to compare with my newer ones!!! kind of insane to think about this as a skill one can improve on #especially now that suddenly its been like a decade almost of consistently doing it and yet i never stopped to truly think about it #as anything other than a thing you just do???? idk. i have a disconnect to myself and art as a concept i guess LMAO #art is what OTHER people do in my brain. *I* just fuck around to try things out for fun #anyway....#silvi talks

Was nobody gonna warn me that I would fall a little bit in love with every character in Stardew

#I am literally following them around and getting excited like a little puppy its insane #I cant decide who I wanna marry I like all of them… I was a little torn between Sebastian and Harvey at first but now Alex is an #unexpected fav??? and I like Elliott and Sam theyre so goofy.. and I appreciate how down to earth Leah is #Emily is also quickly growing on me she feels like the valleys manic pixie dream girl to me. or at least Clint’s manic pixie dream girl #the only characters I don’t have much to say abt are Shane and maru.. Shane’s still a little mean to me like I know he warms up to u as #u get to know him but I’m not there yet.. and I’m just not all that interested in Maru sadly #it’s not just the marriage candidates its almost all the NPCs especially Granny Evelyn SHES SO NICE?? shes fun to talk to I love giving #her my best flowers.. I also like saying hi to Willy and Marnie they’re nice!!! Montrose finishing off the judge by himself at the end of ep15 was actually so cool I need to learn how draw comics asap

#1 person should stay and kill it was an unnecessary risk bc he could have died but also good bc the drama & plays into his reckless trauma #beef being protective but not overbearing or self sacrificing like he assumes logically he is gonna have to be the one to stay behind #but he doesnt argue when montrose says beef should run and he will stay behind. so theres a dynamic of trust. cool way to play it by travis #and then the gambit itself is montrose acting injured & dragging his leg to bait it and then crushing it no roll needed bc of the setup #which was also especially good bc it was set up as a means of escape (even justin was saying pls use it right now to flee if you wanna live #but instead he waited til the last second and used it as a weapon *chefs kiss* i love griffin pc shenanigans #taz steeplechase #its 2am btw so forgive me for over analysing like 5 minutes of taz gameplay skdjd

i am gone for one week to enjoy time with family and come back to everything turning to shit. im worried about roxy's teeth and being potentially in pain so im taking her to the vet next week. shaxx's skin has broken out into another flare up so im monitoring him. my kitchen sink is clogging and i tried to fix it and it won't unclog so i need to call a plumber. and now my husband's computer is bsod'ing kernel errors again-- no i should stay STILL. i'm so fucking DONNEEEEE

#aev rambles #i hate when stuff piles up all at once like this. especially if it's finances. im so stressed lmao sorry for venting #giving shaxx his meds takes me and my husband both because he squirms while giving it directly #but since i was gone we had to switch to putting it in his food and trying to make sure he eats it all. (approved by his vet)#but i think maybe it just wasn't doing well bc 2 weeks and now he has a flare up. so now we're administering directly and ill monitor #also dont get me started on his computer issues. brand new pc from dec and it's been NONSTOP issues #two months in and it started bsoding like crazy. spend hundreds to ship it out to cp. got cpu and ram and shit replaced.#(after hours and hours of trying other remedies and reaching out to customer support.)#no more bsoding when it was returned back to us but then started experiencing issues with freezing and hangups with windows.#which we *think* we solved relative to windows power issues. but surprise. bsod is back #we are soo at our wit's end with his pc it's insane ugh #trying to decide at what point is this pc is a fucking wash and we get a partial refund and take the L or idkkkkk #also. medical bills YIPPEEEE

I find it hilarious how people that have watched the special and the TV show are complaining at how much they think Waverly’s characterization has changed.

Saying how she’s violent and reckless and they don’t remember Waverly being like that in the TV show and they’re just basically saying she’s OOC in the special because she gets into a bar fight drunk off her ass and threatens a girl with a jagged glass bottle to the face.

Excuse me but we are introduced to the character in the TV show with her booting down her bedroom door and threatening the “skank” that she believes is seducing her boyfriend with a shotgun and actually shooting it several times while saying “Why don’t you slip into something more comfy, huh? Like a coma” before realizing that it’s just her sister, Wynonna.

Waverly has always been violent and reckless.

She’s just been extremely adorable while doing it.

She’s even more like that later on in the show when she eventually exposes the dark angel within her.

She’s not out of character at all. She’s just less cutesy.

Well… in their eyes she’s less cute.

I find her very cute in the special.

She’s always been the “cinnamon roll” of the group.

But that didn’t necessarily mean she wasn’t violent.

Waverly has always been violent. You see that in her from the very first moment that you actually see her because imagine if that girl that was seducing Champ wasn’t Wynonna and she just open-fired on a civilian.

You see her do shit like this all throughout the show. At what point is she not violent and not reckless?

Sure, she’s an angel. But she’s a destructive angel.

Are people serious with this OOC shit? Watch it again.

Because I certainly never saw a non-violent Waverly. It’s just that every time I did see it, it was very funny. And that bar fight in the special was also very funny.

Didn’t seem the slightest out of character to me at all.

If anything it was more like she hadn’t even grown up. Like she was intentionally being the Season 1 Waverly.

So she was more Waverly there than she should’ve been because you would think that she would have, by that point, matured out of that reckless childish state. But at the same time, she was always a child at heart. It’s one of the most endearing qualities about her to me because she represents innocence and resilience and both these themes give her that fighting spirit.

The character contradicts herself constantly because there’s more dimensions to her than the ‘cutesy one’.

She’s not out of character. You’re putting her in a box.

A box of which she instinctively and immediately challenges and breaks out of because she’s too dynamic to just be one thing at any one time.
