fui correcto estaba en lo correcto. (To me Fui is much more used for things You Were as a Person, such as fui un granjero (I was a farmer) or fui feliz (I was a Happy Person). Since this was a quick thing you did, such as think something correctly, "Fui" sounds a bit off) Ví Bluey Español y ahora no tengo nadas ningún problemas o sintomas de enferma enfermedad (illness, rather than just "ill") mental 💖 (sorry I love to correct spanish hope it doesn't sound mean !!! You speak very well ^^)

hey as a native english speaker learning spanish, how was it like learning the difference between "ser" and "estar" (to be)? i feel like thats like a huge linguistic thing that kinda changes the way you think and shit and as a native portuguese speaker who learned language with that distinction i wonder how it was like for you to understand it

Huh, good question! I've never thought much about that!

"Ser" and "estar" were some of the first things they taught us in middle school Spanish class. So I was already thinking within the ser/estar framework when I learned most of the rest of my Spanish vocabulary. So, I feel that I tend to pick the right verb out of habit.

I think the difference between "ser" and "estar" was explained to me early on by comparing them to the gramatically correct uses of "well" and "good" in English, which made the distinction feel intuitive to me. So, "estoy bien" = "I'm well" as in I am physically and emotionally healthy, and "soy bien" = "I'm good" as in I am a virtuous person.

This comparison doesn't cover the location use of estar, but the...sentiment behind it, I guess, makes sense to me for looking at location as temporary in the same way emotions and health are.

vi un poco de dungeon meshi en español y 1) me encanta el actor de voz de Senshi 2) Senshi dice palabras que no sé el más de todos. sé mas de la fantasia que la nutrición 😭😭😭
