I am so grateful for my oils. They continue to do majical things and prove their value in my life. Essential Oils are old medicine. Very old. In fact up until the 1930's there were large texts full of proven recipes for many ailements using combinations of essential oils in various applications. Rude on the skin, inhale, under the tongue, bathe in, bottoms of feet, and more.... .. If was proven and used for 1000's of years... why arn't there any studies? .. Well because it was standard medicine that worked and didn't need proof. The proof was witnessed, felt, and it was comon knowledge. Most people knew what did what. During our civil war medics had tea tree oil, lavender, oregano, rosemary, and even garlic oil in their packs. Not to mention compresses of yarrow, chamomile, and jars of aloe. .. The new alternative pharmaceutical medicine needed to conduct studies to prove itself, to convince others to leave their oils in exchange for the New Mystery Medicine that was in Pill form. ... The new stuff needs to prove itself. Pharmaceuticals ARE the new stuff.
