so, expanding on this,

Everyday that I log in, I dislike the game more and more..

I've grown to like the world chat, it makes it practical for asking questions when you need to and get a quick reply,

And I also like that so far, on standard banner, you can also get non-standard characters at a lower rate,

But the rest of the game is still a clear cash grab..

I genuinly hate that so much of the game is level-locked,

I don't like the Unions thing, mostly because I don't like anything remotely close to co-op,

I also really dislike how complicated it is to lvl up characters and their skills, like genuinly wtf is the deal with perfect lattice?? The only way I've found to get them is in the shop, and they cost 3000 anima crystals, so 10× the price of an apex prototype [aka you could get a full 10 pull for the price of one perfect lattice], and it says it can also be a reward, but literally can't find where so far, if it's essential for leveling up skills, the main way to get them should probably not be the same way you get pulls??

Anyway, that is my impression so far..

My opinion on Etheria Restart so far:

Mid.

I don't like that you can't take the chat off your screen fully and that you're in a server chat,

The story's okay but already feels long,

11/10 descision to actually give not only a large male cast, but a variety of males in said male class, from chibi to pretty boy to smexy old man, thin, muscular and round, etc.. I like that.

I don't like the wishing system. I genuinly hate it. Why are perma wishes worth less than event wishes?? And the system is a clear cashgrab...

I also hate that targetted summon only allows u to choose one 4☆ character and then dips on u but still remains in the summons banners

Genuin rating: 4.5/10 so far; redeemed by men.

Just a PSA:

Etheria Restart is extremely pay-to-progress. I don't recommend. There are also allegations of ai art, and the devs don't feel very transparent with the char/boss adjustments.

My main red flag, which led me to do some digging that uncovered all the other allegations, was that the game has only been out for a week, and the latest event is only a week long but bans half of the characters due to element restrictions.

Keep in mind that the main materials for both level and skill ascension materials are primarily locked behind paywalls or first time rewards, so unless you are whaling hardcore you definitely don't have the materials to max a full team to clear the event, let alone when half the elements are banned.

Oh crap, you only have half a team now? Then you're gonna have to pay to level up or pull the other half, because the event's over in a week, and you definitely don't earn enough being f2p.

As a veteran gacha game hopper since Unison League and Alchemist Code (I don't remember which was first), I can recognize trouble when I see it, so although I liked the grinding progression, I'm bailing before it wastes any more of my time and attention.

I've been considering finding pottery lessons, after all. That seems more productive.

(And i play 5 other gacha games at more leisurely paces than that speeding locomotive that's etheria restart. No need to stick with something giving me the heebie jeebies.)

Started playing Etheria Restart and couldn't even make it out of the first chapter. The gameplay seems fun and looks crispy, but I'm a story girl first and foremost and I was literally falling asleep at the info dumping. It's 2025, you can definitely come up with a more creative way to explain your world and get me invested. If that's not a monetary priority from launch, it never will be.

It's clearly a waifu collector game, and while I'm okay with that to some degree, I'm not sticking around if you can't be bothered to hire writers.

Also, I was getting this weird visual glitch during this entire boring ass conversation??

I am so excited to play this. I know it will be wiped, but I am so into this game, lol

Love the turn based combat system. Loving the grind to level too.

So many different things to do. There is a lot to learn.

Love that only the ssr I am pulling for is in the limited banner. THANK YOU SO MUCH!No 50/50, no 70/30. Just pay for what you want. Finally, devs with common sense!

I am glad global release is still a while away. I can practice really hard for when the game officially launches.

I'm going to be having so much fun! And stress... but mostly fun.
