Iskall is insistent on playing tag with Joel while he's regressed, whether Joel is or not. This always leads to Joel suggesting they play hide and seek instead, and he runs off so Iskall cannot find him. He is not a very good person with littles, admittedly, but Iskall's love for him frightens him a little. One time while Joel was regressed he hid behind Etho and used him as a human meat shield. Etho does not get paid enough for this.

After the chaos, high emotions, and adrenaline of Life sessions, Etho often shuts down a little bit when he gets home to Hermitcraft. He usually spends this time alone to regress and recover with soft blankets, snacks, and a movie.

Though he was shy at first, Etho warmed up to Gem pretty quickly, and now he seeks her out to follow around and pester when he regresses.

When regressed around others Doc is clingy, quiet (minus for a few hisses when he is trying to get their attention) and he listens to the curent caregiver that is taking care of him... WITH ETHO ON THE OTHER HAND.

He is a little rascal, disappears to see etho's reaction, tries to climb on top of Etho to make him care the almost 7 feet creeper and giggles when Etho eventually fails to do that. Any room they are in is gonna be covered in redstone in minutes and more. But even with those things in the end of the day when Doc is snuggling to him in his sleep, Etho has to admit Doc still one of his favorite littles - (the butterfly anon on another phone were they can't find their emoji ;-;)

The sleepy snuggles at the end of the day are extra sweet after all the troublemaking. Even if there's more redstone and, frighteningly, gunpowder in Etho's hair than usual.

Etho is an ocelot hybrid, but since he doesn't have many visible hybrid traits, most people aren't aware. Most of the Hermits who do know found out when he regressed around them and ended up purring and kneading on their lap.

Wanted to pop a few of my Etho headcannons in here cause I have sooooo many.

- When Etho is regressed he clings to this one stuffed animal rabbit he's had for years. It's super worn and he refuses to let anyone replace or fix it. He just carries it around everywhere as if it were actually a rabbit.

- Etho has really bad texture issues with clothes when regressed. Socks are a big problem and he gets really frustrated and upset when he can feel the seam in the socks. He also hates denim and textures like it.

- Etho is very quiet when regressed despite being loud and relatively energetic when not. Nobody knows why but he just struggles with words really badly (my personal thoughts on this one is that it's a trauma response but it can be for any amounts of reasons you want).

- Loves hanging out in Bdubs' builds when regressed. He really likes the cluttered and nature-y vibes that Bdubs always has to them. He could sit in Bdubs' bedroom twiddling his thumbs and be content for a good few hours.

- He finds questions really overwhelming, especially when it's one right after the other. Mostly because he's never really sure what he wants and it can be super super upsetting. That's why he likes Bdubs and Cleo so much when he's regressed, because they'll just talk to him and won't really ask any questions. If he wants silence he'll make it clear and vice-versa.

- Etho hates regressing. He doesn't like how he feels like a prey animal trapped in a cage. It's confusing and disorienting every single time he's going in and out of it. He also doesn't really remember all the fun and good parts of it because of amnesia so it's just miserable for him to think about.

I keep starting to say "I especially like..." but I'd just be listing all of them to be honest. There's a lot of things here that align with my personal Etho headcanons, and a lot of things I never thought of that will now be bouncing around in my head for the rest of the day :]

etho who's hypersensitive when regressed and Joel who's rowdy and apathetic when regressed. Joel accidentally upsets etho a lot when they're together and Joel always has to be marched over to etho so Joel can apologize. I'm imagining Cleo grabbing his arm (gently) and dragging him over to an etho whos giving them wet baby eyes from where he's sitting on the floor with his rabbit stuffie. -tiger anon who's on his laptop

Cleo is probably the best person to be in charge here. She can be firm with Joel on apologizing, but knows to be gentle with both of them here.

headcanon: etho regresses to 13 1/2 (they're very particular about the half) and loves to play spy with zed! they learned morse code so they can talk to zed using flashes of light - perfect for secret messages!

The few Hermits who know Morse code have started acting suspicious on purpose if they catch one of the messages, just so Etho and Zed can have a secret mission.

Etho gets told he's scary a lot and he doesn't know why! He's just a little fix look at him and his fluffy tail!

But sometimes the other Hermits don't know when ve is regressed and will joke about vim scaring them even if it's on accident. To vis face.

So Etho is often sad and goes to nir cgs asking if they find nem scary. Of course they tell nem no, cause ne's just a kit how could ne be scary? It's something the little cares an awful lot about but never tells anyone nir feeling about getting called scary. Sure it's funny to big Etho but not little Etho.

Snaps cgs have yet to come up with a plan, so for now they try their best to just take snap out of snaps thoughts with toys and cuddles and snacks. It works every time

The obvious long term solution would be to convince Etho to tell the Hermits how ne feels, but if ne isn't ready to talk about it, nir carers are willing to meet nem where ne is.

Etho, as an arctic fox hybrid, loves to play in the snow while regressed.

A few of the hermits call Etho ‘Eo’ when little because th’s are harder to pronouns

For a couple of them, it's a dead giveaway that they're younger than they're letting on.

Etho has a complete and utter fascination with those strange YouTube Kids finger family and nursery rhyme videos, the stranger the better. He especially loves when they have off-putting animation.

When Etho regresses he uses a pacifier but always keeps his mask over it. Some days the other hermits think he’s just being really quiet or doesn’t feel like talking because he’ll just nod along when they talk. He’s actually just feeling small

Sometimes he wonders how the Hermits haven't caught on, and if it's that difficult to tell he's using a pacifier or if they're really that unobservant.

Etho's existence actually predates the introduction of gender to player society. As such, when regressed he prefers to be referred to with they/it because it reminds him of how things were before players made up gender.

Etho is a little embarrassed that he rarely gets through playing games with friends without regressing.
