Ive never really understood the term comfort character. If it means "character you're obsessed with" then id say sakura nadeko akiha and beatrice. Especially the first two. I have a recurring fantasy of going all heavens feel.

Thisnis hard to answer bcuz on one hand Jupiter uses a hair tie but on the other hand nadeko uses a scrunchie. No other information factors into my choice.

confession: awhile back, I was doing a drawing I never finished of hickey leading the mutineers in a marching band and the caption was going to be “Trouble with a capital T and that rhymes with C and that stands for Crozier” so I heartily appreciate all versions of this joke.

DAY 1. We’re off.

The monks started us off right - a bowl of coffee and a pitcher of hot milk. Really. Not a large cup or even a mug but something akin to a cereal bowl. Some bread, butter & jam and off we go. Gorgeous, clear, cold morning. We’re well above tree line with a great view down the valley. It’s pretty easy to see where we’re going. So I still don’t know how we got so off track 30 minutes into this thing. I’m not pointing fingers but lady D does like to follow from the front… No worries, a quick double back and we’re off (again). What a gorgeous morning ! It is chilly. We’re layered up with coats, gloves and the very favorite “Turtle Fur” (a cozy, warm neck gaiter).

We quickly walk out of Switzerland and are on home turf. This trail is going down the mountain quickly. It’s steep. As in I know my knees are going to be angry before the days out steep. But dang it’s beautiful. For the first couple hours it’s just rock ( with a bit of ice) surrounded by peaks. Before long though we drop into the trees and it’s a beautiful forest. The trail follows a perfect little river all day - I know that if we were here earlier in the year we’d be getting in. Even now it’s so inviting.

We walk through the charming little villages. The architecture is all quintessential Swiss chalet and everything is perfectly groomed. Very picturesque as one would hope.

My knees are complaining.

Dee’s knees are grumbling. This trail is steep.

But damn it’s beautiful. We walk into and around the village of Etroubles. Wonderful little place and I love the name. In French it sounds… well, French. But we just call it E Troubles. We make it to our first stop. Echevinoz. Not much here. The hostel is closed ( as is most of everything) but we find a lovely B&B sort of place, get a room, get showered [oh yes!] get fed and off to bed.

Fabulous day! Perfect start. Now I just hope our knees forgive us during the night.

so i want kids but i had an eating disorder and still hav etrouble with it. i’m terrified of gaining weight (im already f*t but still) but i also know i can’t be throwing up or starving. but i do want kids. i cna guarantee in my lifetime if i ever accumulate enough money to have IVF then i probably don’t want it nd hsould give it away. so i doubt i’ll ever be able to afford that. an option is of course adoption but there’s still this idea that it’s not good enough. even though our loves and type of love can be endless. i do think blood ties are never gonna be able to be totally unraveled but our concept of family should definitely go deeper. abolition of family means uplifting the communal aspect. and i totally believe in this. what is this idea of a limit on love though? but i guess we just dont understand love and family in general. 

i know what’s wrong as a person, and my intrusive thoughts really highlight that, so i won’t and can’t excuse incest as they show it to us. and they are stepbrothers but that is incest in knowing how they were and the dynamics. but i don’t understand why i was so okay with it before (i mean i do) and im just sad at my fucked up understanding. (i would say the pseudo incest would be like....for pre-teen cases maybe? there’s a point where it’s like ok i didnt grow up with them theyre legitimately a total stranger lol)

this is coming from someone who has two psychotic terrible parents but loves them while hating them. i understand the concept of divesting from your family if you need to. no way you can love every single person you are related to anyway. but we still have that bond and it means something. if i was adopted, it would be the same. or grew up with someone as my stepdad. 

god we are just SO FUCKED UP lmao like even love is this calculated transaction where we’re like “yes we are robots so if you get married at 55 to a woman who has a teenage son, and you have at teenage son, then they are sufficiently able enough to initiate sex” like WHAT EVEN IS THIS lmao but that’s really how it is man

oh and another thing like....just because someone is “of age” doesn’t mean anything. like it just means this person didn’t feel like getting arrested. it’s legal now for the grandpa to do it. but most predators and terrible people barely give  a shit about that so the way they’d treat you if u were by the law underage or nah they could give less of a shit. the age is a good concrete metric for the law but it’s also complicated but that’s alos why we don’t negotiate around it. we know there are certain points in time where it’s just ridiculous and clearly advantageous to get ahead of the age factor. 18 or no. him being younger really showcases that (and also there is obvs sth wrong with him but then i’m like i cant even get into this convoluted point bc THEY CAN’T WRITE WELL ENOUGH TO SUPPORT IT—this is about history 4)
