of course he'd know. jaewook has known eunhee for as long as he's known himself. sometimes, it feels like he's figured eunhee out more than he has his own psyche and self figured out. years of being her best friend has made it so that jaewook will always be aware, will always be listening, will always be there even when he is not.

" it's because we've known each other since time immemorial, " he tucks a strand of black hair behind her ears and gently pokes her forehead, " and because i love you. " he doesn't say anything else. he knows that eunhee will understand the rest of what he means. those three words are enough to let her know that jaewook will always figure it out, and give her what she needs — even if she hasn't quite figured it out herself.

honestly speaking, yura doesn't see the point in getting her hair fixed. she doesn't even go out of her room and spends most of her time looking over illegal information on different government sites. sometimes, if she's needed, she becomes the voice in the earpiece of the assassins. other than that ? her life is mostly spent indoors, trying to code and code until her eyes scream that they've had enough.

" eunhee, i don't even go out of my room. why do you feel the need to make me your personal barbie doll today ? " she sighs, but does appreciate that eunhee still hangs out with her even with the absence of hyunji.

usually, it's the heiress cousin who holds them together. right now though, hyunji hasn't been seen or heard from in weeks.

nara laughs and spits the blood in her mouth straight to the tips of eunhee's shoes. these little scrimmages with eunhee are common. occurring every now and then when nara loses her temper over a remark one of them has said. what else does she expect from that bitch hyunji's underlings, though ? they are following a girl so blindly when it is clear that hyunji is not cut out for this life. birthright means nothing in the face of determination and skill. hyunji doesn't care about gaehwa just as much as nara does.

greed is a bad thing, moon nara. those are the words her mother used to say, back when she could still look at nara without wanting to cry. back when she could still see nara as her daughter, and not the girl who murdered the love of her life in cold blood. it is funny because moon runa lacks the ability to control people yet she still tries to keep nara under control like a dog on a leash. unfortunately for moon runa, her eldest daughter will never be controlled.
