#everyone has differenr rules all the time
Lol sorry sorry but I must confess that I also thought you were a Jikook shipping blog at first, not because of what you posted, but by association with others. At the time I discovered you, you frequently interacted with a now-deleted big Kookmin blog and another BTS music/Jikook blog. It quickly became clear to me that you weren’t one! I can see how someone might unknowingly lump you in with the shippers a year ago but it wouldn’t make sense to assume that now.
Oh anon, you're making me laugh, lol. Fascinating nonetheless because everyone's perception is so different and it certainly doesn't reflect what I believe I was doing back then.
Me frequently interacting with an ex-Kookmin blog was me talking to my friend about BTS and the fandom, never touching on the subject of jikook as a ship and with the other blog as well. Both may have had posts about the ship, but that's not the part that ever became part of the discussion. My guess is that the name/label is used as an indicator of what that content is about, despite the conversations held being about other stuff.
Also, it would actually be harder for my blog to be lumped up with shipping blogs a year ago. I posted way less, I was focused on more serious posts, I was less friendly because my interactions were different due to the way I wanted to manage this place. I've actually talked more about my "faves" from a fan perspective in the last 6 months or so.
But I appreciate you sharing your first impressions. It does make me wonder and possibly explore how people perceive certain bloggers and content and what labels are then attributed to them. And consequently, what others believe is a shipping blog. Perhaps my definition of it is different. To me at least, talking about the men who are part of a popular ship within this fandom does not turn into shipping posting. It takes more than that. It's about the perspective through which I talk about them which is significantly different from how shipping blogs do. I mean, I wouldn't make the confusion, but others may see it differently.
